Happy Sunday! My favorite day of the week! We can sleep in, take our time and relax! I debated taking the day off from Hot Puck. That wouldn’t be very nice. Hot Puck isn’t as time consuming as you’d think. I very much enjoying writing it!

It’s the research that takes the most time. I’m not complaining! Promise! I feel a sense of pride and joy after I publish each article. Writing in general has always been a passion with no outlet! So huge shout out to Jeremy to giving this platform!

I’ve learned over the years to enjoy the good and never take a thing for granted. So before we get into the stacks I just want to say thank you! Thank you for reading, sending me messages and engaging!

Now that the love fest is over here is the Sunday edition of Hot Pucking Stacks! Don’t forget!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/20/20 (TWO free lineups)

Good afternoon! Forgive me and the late start today! Sometimes real life gets in the way of our fantasy lives!

Last night was fantastic! BOTH our Main line and After Hours had a terrific showing! I try and get it out to as many people as possible! Make sure you like and comment on the article! Or sign up for DFScheetsheet newsletter! The more the merrier!

After Hours 2-19 – 145.6

Tonight 2-20-20 is perfectly sized schedule broken down into four separate slates!

Main 7p (8 games)
Express 7:30p (2)
Late Night 8p (3)
After Hours 10p (2)

Jack Huges L1 & PP1
Nico Hischier L1 & PP1
Kyle Palmieri L1 & PP1

The Devils welcome the Sharks in tonight. Kyle Palmieri leads the team in goals (22) while they are scoring on 16% of the power play. I’m going to give the advantage to NJ tonight given the fact SJ hasn’t been able to get anything good going. The Sharks are giving up tons of shots on goal a night and SJ has given up 3+ goals in 8 of their last 12.

Alex Ovechkin L1 & PP1
Nicklas Backstrom L1 & PP1
Tom Wilson L1

Jakub Vrana L2 & PP1
Evgeny Kuznetsov L2 & PP2
T.J. Oshie L2 & PP1

Montreal comes to Washington tonight having lost 5 in a row. They are also 3-7 vs. WSH the last 10. Montreal is as low as it gets as of late. I like a nice mix and match of both lines tonight. 5-2 or a 6-2 final tonight! Caps win!

Jared McCann L2 & PP2
Evgeni Malkin L2 & PP1
Bryan Rust L2 & PP1

Penguins are in Toronto tonight and it’s split right down the middle far as goal projections are concerned! I can see a situation where the masses stack TB1 & PIT1 leaving each teams second line ripe for the picking!

Zach Sanford L2 & PP2
Robert Thomas L2 & PP2
David Perron L2 & PP1

Arizona comes to St. Louis tonight on the second half of a back to back. ARZ has been historically bad in the second half of a back-to-back. They have also been horrible on the road. 1-8 their last 9. All signs point to a Blues route!

Ondrej Palat L2 & PP2
Anthony Cirelli L2 & PP1
Alex Killorn L2 & PP2

Tampa Bay is in Vegas tonight with another evenly split match-up! The Lightening have been RED HOT! Riding an eleven game winning streak they meet the Golden Knights who have won three in a row! Far as betting line for the game is concerned, its slightly tilted in TB’s favor. Stack their second line and avoid the rush of the big name stacks tonight. They can put up points with the best of them!

Nikolaj Ehlers L1 & PP2
Mark Scheifele L1 & PP1
Blake Wheeler L2 & PP1

Patrik Laine L2 & PP1
Andrew Copp L2 & PP2
Kyle Connor L2 & PP1

The Jets are in Ottawa tonight and personally I’m going all in on the Jets tonight. They are scoring 3 goals a game and converting on 19.4% with a man advantage. While The Senators have given up 3+ goals in 10 of their last 14.

Travis Konecny L2 & PP1
Sean Couturier L1 & PP1
Jakub Voracek L1 & PP1
Claude Giroux L1 & PP1
Ivan Provorov (defense) L1 & PP1

The Flyers are flying and scoring 3.2 goals a game and 19.7% on the power play. They have won 8 of their last 12 and they skate into Columbus tonight! CBJ has lost 6 straight and are only killing 82% of their penalties. Philly JUST beat CBJ a few nights ago 5-1 and haven’t cooled down since. Tonight I wouldn’t mind piecing my lines together with members of the Philly PP1!

Quick shout out to the Vegas Knights tonight. An honorable mention if you will. When you see my After Hours sample line you’ll see what I’m talking about!

As you can see I have provided BOTH a Main line as well as an After Hours sample line.

Main 2-20

Please play responsibility and know these lines are to be used for entertainment purposes!

After Hours 2-20

Hang here and look for an update line closer to the After Hours lock at 10p!

Big thank you to all the new readers. All the people reaching out with messages. Everyone who has commented and all you for the support! Thanks so much!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/18/20 (TWO free lines)

We’ve hit a bit of a snag the last few days! It happens right? Still been able to grab some green in smaller cash games barely! Any good DFS player would tell you in comes in waves! It’s not always sunshine and rainbows!

So lets stay the course and get right back into it tonight!

The hockey schedule is broken down into three separate slates!

7p Main (7 games)
730p Express (2 games)
8p After Hours (3 games)

Jared McCann L2 & PP2
Evgeni Malkin L2 & PP1
Bryan Rust L2 & PP1

Penguins are hot as a pistol right now! Winning 10 of their last 14 games. Pittsburgh is scoring 3.3 goals a games and converting on a 20.1% on the power play! Rust leads the team in goals (22), Malkin in assists (44) and Kris Letang with 149 SOG. Penguins have allowed 3 or less goals in 12 of their last 14 games. Toronto comes to Pittsburgh tonight and they haven’t played well being the underdog. The Maple Leafs are also 4-10 their last 14 games in Pittsburgh. They are at home and have been piling up points recently. Hard for me to get away from PIT2 tonight.

Patrik Laine L2 & PP1
Blake Wheeler L2 & PP1
Kyle Connor L2 & PP1

The Jets are averaging 2.9 goals a game. Kyle Connor leads the team in goals (29). While Blake Wheeler has accumulated 156 SOG. The Kings are in Winnipeg tonight having lost 10 of the past 13 games. The Kings have allowed 3 or more goals in 6 of their last 7 games. LA is also only 4-10 their last 14 in WPG. This second line is averaging 19+ minutes a line as well as the top power play unit. The Jets have the momentum and come away with a 4-2, 5-1 win.

Zach Sanford L2 & PP2
Robert Thomas L2 & PP2
David Perron L2 & PP1

David Perron leads the team in goals (23) and the Blues are just more talented. New Jersey is 0-7 their last 7 games in St. Louis. It’s quite clear that the Blues have the upper hand at home tonight. The over/under sits at 6 while the Blues are projected at 3.5 goals and 73% chance to win tonight. I wouldn’t mind some of B. Schenn and J. Schwartz from STL1 in an After Hours line!

Joel Farabee L2 & PP2
Kevin Hayes L2 PP2
Travis Konecny L2 & PP1

Columbus comes to the Wells Fargo center tonight on a five game losing streak. Travis Konecny leads the team in goals (19) and the Flyers have been playing more stout on defense recently having killed off 82.6% of their penalties. CBJ has grit but Philly is great at home! Look for PHI to win here 3-2 or 4-2.

Filip Forsberg L2 & PP1
Matt Duchene L2 & PP2
Kyle Turris L2 & PP1

Nashville is riding a 3 game winning streak and Carolina comes to town. Carolina is 2-6 their last 8 road games and they aren’t the same team on the road as they are at home. The over/under here tonight is at 6 and giving the slight advantage to NSH.

Jonathan Drouin L2 & PP1
Nick Suzuki L2 & PP2
Joel Armia L2 & PP1

Both teams have been giving up 4-5 goals a game during each teams losing streak. The Wings are awful and I know I’ve told you to always stack against Detroit. So why would we get away from that tonight?

Main 2-18

Here are sample lines for Main, Express and After Hours! Hang tight for an updated After Hours closer to the 8p lock!

After Hours 2-18

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/13/20 + after hours

Hello! Welcome back to Hot Pucking Stacks! Last nights lines didn’t set the world on fire but they were right around the cash line. I wouldn’t call them a dud but we can do better! The Kings last surprised me last night scoring 5 goals! Geeze!

Tonight is a massive schedule with eleven games on the Main slate! The rest of the nights action is broken down accordingly…

Main 7p (11 games)
Express I 730p (3 games)
Express II 8p (2 games)
After Hours 10p (2 games)

Main locks at 7p and there is are a few juicy match-ups! No screwing around tonight! Let’s get right into it!

Joel Farabee L2 & PP2
Kevin Hayes L2 & PP2
Travis Konecny L2 & PP1

Philly is at the Bb&t center tonight in Florida. The Flyers are 6-2 in their last 8 and are 5-2 in their last 7 when being the underdog. Philly isn’t the same team on the road and this one will be tight. Paying a lower cost for their second line is the move. Philly loses 4-3 but plenty of points to go around here tonight!

NEW JERSEY 2 (main)

Blake Coleman L2 & PP1
Travis Zajac L2
Nikita Gusev L2 & PP2

The Red Wings are in New Jersey tonight and the smart money is on the Devils. Detroit is 4-1 in their last 5 vs. the Devils. People may flock to DET1 tonight while we sneak in a NJ2 stack. I wouldn’t have a ton of NJ tonight seeing how both teams aren’t good BUT a mix and match tonight with Devils could pay dividends!

Alex Ovechkin L1 & PP1 AND PP2
Nicklas Backstrom L1 & PP1
Tom Wilson L1 & PP2

Talk about offensive fire power! WOW! The Caps come to the Pepsi center tonight in Colorado. The Avalanche are riding a five game winning streak while the Caps have gone 9-2 vs. COL their last 11. Colorado is on fire but Washington has had great success vs. the Avalanche. I don’t have a definite projection of who wins. Just know the 6.5 o/u will be smashed!

COLORADO 1 (main)

Andre Burakovsky L1 & PP2
Nathan MacKinnon L1 & PP1
Mikko Rantanen L1 & PP1

Colorado is on fire right now playing well winning their last 5! They are also 4-0 their last four home games. All the money is on the Caps tonight due to a low line on the road. Philipp Grubauer has been lights out as of late and that’s the only thing stopping me from going all in on WSH. This one should be a ton of fun with plenty of points to go around. 5-4, 6-5 final in Colorado tonight.

FLORIDA 1 (main)

Jonathan Huberdeau L1 & PP1
Aleksander Barkov L1 & PP1
Evgenii Dadnov L1 & PP1

The Panthers are home tonight vs. the Flyers. Florida packs a punch offensively and the Flyers struggle on the road. Of all eleven games tonight FLA vs. PHI is tied at 6.5 as an over/under. I would spend up tonight on the Panthers first line. They also play on the top power play now! You know how much I love double dipping! FLA wins tonight 4-3.

LAS VEGAS 2 (after hours)

Max Pacioretty L2 & PP1
Mark Stone L2 & PP1
William Karlsson L2 & PP2

The Blues have played awful as of late and its mainly been on the road. St. Louis come to Vegas tonight and are 1-7 in their last 8 road games. The Golden Knights are a solid bet at home and VGK has allowed 3 or more goals in 12 of their last 15 games. As you scroll down I like STL2 tonight for that reason. That being said the o/u tonight in Vegas sits at 6 and I see every bit of this one going over.

CALGARY 1 (after hours)

Johnny Gaudreau L1 & PP1
Sean Monahan L1 & PP1
Elias Lindholm L1 & PP1

The Flames are in Anaheim tonight have been 4-1 their past five road games. What’s shocking is the fact Calgary has only won TWICE their last 34 games in Anaheim! That’s nuts! Due to that, I love CGY1 tonight! While everyone is looking left we go right! The old Kansas City shuffle!

ST LOUIS 2 (after hours)

Zach Sanford L2
Ryan O’Reilly L2 & PP1
David Perron L2 & PP1

As stated above the Blues have not played well recently. They haven’t been as chippy and physical as we’re used to. Vegas has been giving up 3+ goals a game their last 15 games. Safe bet that the Blues score 3 right on the money. Three of these men also play on the first power play unit. VGK wins tonight but the o/u of 6 goals gets smashed tonight!

Main 2/13

Per usual here is a sample line for BOTH Main and After Hours! Please play responsible and these lines are to be used for fun!

After Hours 2/13

Thank you for reading and I thank all of you for the recent support!

Hot Pucking Stacks has been picking up steam and it’s due to all of you who read and comment on it! I cant thank you enough!

Hang here and look for an undated After Hours closer to the 10p lock!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/11/20 (TWO free lines)

Last night was another fantastic night for our hockey lineups! I decided to give out an edited After Hours line right before lock at 10p. Here is that lineup…

After Hours 2/10

As you can see it finished with 146.2! Even with a 0.0 from Evander Kane! We’ve been a real heater here at DFS Cheat Sheets.

My bread and butter has always been smaller two game slates. Normally after hours. I’m happy and very proud I’ve been able to share my process with anyone who wants to listen! I’ve read all your emails and FB messages and thank you all for the kind words.

On the flip side over the past few months I’ve noticed a lot of hate and insecurity in the DFS community. I’m of the belief that the more we share and support each other the farther we can go. I’ve established some friendships and connections with random strangers around the county. The one lasting effect to these friendships is support. Always bouncing ideas around and working on a process.

I’ve never once claimed to know it all. I’ve often asked for help and have always listened. The moment I push my content as a know it all is the day I will crash and burn. Will things ever change online? Absolutely not but I sleep well at night knowing I did the best I can.

Supporting each other and sharing each others ideas can only bring more love and better ideas. This is not about our egos or individual achievements. Together we are stronger. If you don’t believe me look around at all the blossoming DFS optimizer sites. Or the strong DFS groups on Face book, Slack or Discord. It’s a group of people with like minded ideas and one common goal.

I’m no one special but please, lets share and support each other more.

Tonight is a packed NHL schedule! On Fanduel its broken down into four slates. There are as follows.

Main 7p (11 games)
Express I 8p (2 games)
Express II 830p (3 games)
After Hours 9p (3 games)

After spending the evening and this morning reading and combing over statistics these are the stacks that I’m interested in tonight!

Taylor Hall L1 & PP1
Christian Dvorak L1 & PP1
Connor Garland L1 & PP1

Arizona gives up goals, that’s no secret. They are in Toronto tonight and we know how talented the Maple Leafs are. They’ve actually underperformed this season. The Coyotes rank 22nd overall in scoring this season so far. The over/under tonight in TOR is 6 and I see that being met and then some! ARZ is only 2-5-3 in their last 10. This entire write isn’t very flattering for the Coyotes but that’s what I love most about it. A top line that also skates on the top power play. They are perfectly priced at little to no ownership!

Alex Killorn L2 & PP1
Tyler Johnson L2 & PP1
Anthony Cirelli L2 & PP2

Two heavyweights back at it on the ice tonight! Tampa may be a little tired after playing in Columbus last night. The Penguins have been consistent as it comes. They are 8th in goals scored and 5th overall in goals allowed. These two played last week Tampa Bay won and they will win again tonight. 5-2 or 4-3.

Brett Connolly L2 & PP2
Vincent Trocheck L2 & PP2
Noel Acciari L2

Another team headed in the wrong direction. If you’ve paid attention that’s the theme here tonight. Aside from the stud teams and great line combos, we’re looking for lines that may pop to compliment the TB1s and PIT1s lines who score massive points. Florida is playing in New Jersey tonight and the Devils have played well as of late. The Devils have a good chance to put some goals in the net but the Panthers rank 5th overall in goals scored. Another sneaky play at a minimal price!

Jimmy Vesey L1 & PP2
Sam Reinhart L1 & PP1
Jack Eichel L1 & PP1

This one is a no-brainer tonight. The Red Wings are in Buffalo tonight and hopefully you remember my mantra; STACK against DETROIT! The Red Wings have the worst road goals scored average at 2.02. Jack Eichel has 69 total points so far this season and look for him and Buffalo to steam roll the Wings tonight in Buffalo. 4-1 or a 5-1 final here.

Anthony Beauillier L2 & PP2
Brock Nelson L2 & PP1
Josh Bailey L2 & PP2

The Islanders haven’t been great on offense ranking 22nd in goals scored but they have a solid defense! Ranking 4th overall in goals against. The Flyers come to town tonight and they have played awesome in their past few games but they aren’t good enough to keep it. After the Flyers won by 5 goals their last time out they may in their emotions while the Islanders stay steady. NYI win 4-2 tonight.

Paul Stastny L2 & PP1
Reilly Smith L2 & PP2
Jonathan Marchessault L2 & PP1

Vegas is the better team here. The Minnesota Wild are in the bottom portion of the NHL offensively and their defense ranks as one of the worst around and giving up the 7th most goals this season. Although in Minnesota the Golden Knights handle their business and win 5-2 or 4-3.

Kyle Connor L1 & PP1
Mark Scheifele L1 & PP1
Patrik Laine L1 & PP1

If you have followed Hot Puck then you know I’ve suggested the Rangers second line often. Tonight I’m all in on the Jets. The Jets have won three straight and have only given up 2 goals in each of their three games. It will be tough sledding tonight in Winnipeg for the Rangers. Stack the Jets top line and watch them win 4-2!

Zach Sanford L2 & PP2
David Perron L2 & PP1
Ryan O’Reilly L2 & PP2

The Blues have played poorly on the road lately. Tonight they are in Anaheim to play the Ducks. Another team and line off the radar. St. Louis has faltered on defense recently meaning this one may turn into a shoot out. For that fact I’m stacking STL2. You all know I don’t care who wins the game. Who scores goals is the selling point. Blue win on the road tonight 4-2 or 3-2.

Gabriel Landeskog L1 & PP1
Nathan Mackinnon L1 & PP1
Mikko Rantanen L1 & PP1

Valeri Nichushkin L2 & PP2
Nazem Kadri L2 & PP1
Andre Burakovsky L2 & PP2

I’m going to lump both lines into the same paragraph. It’s quite clear Colorado is the better team here. Ottawa comes to the Pepsi center this evening and I don’t think it’s going to be pretty. Colorado has the highest implied winning percentage tonight at 74.4%. The Senators have scored 2.69 goals a game while allowing 3.30 goals a game. Colorado has averaged 3.69 goals a game and tonight could be the perfect time to stack COL and both lines. Watch the goals fall and the Avalanche win 5-2 or 6-1.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins L1 & PP1
Leon Draisaitl L1 & PP1
Kailer Yamamoto L1 & PP1

Connor McDavid hurt his quadriceps last night thought to be a charley horse has developed into a 2-3 week long injury. As one of the best skaters in all of hockey this hurts. The beauty of DFS is to get around injuries like this. Now Edmonton has shuffled their lines and EDM1 is very much in play tonight! Stack with confidence tonight at home vs. the Blackhawks. Get better Connor!

MAIN 2/11/20

Thanks you for reading! Here is a main line and an after hours line up and the direction I’m heading. Please use these lines responsibility. They are always to be used for fun!

After Hours 2/11

Stay tuned for an updated After Hours lines this evening closer to lock! Find me on Facebook @Chris Robin

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/6/20 (TWO FREE lineups)

Back at it tonight with 12 games! Tonight is broken down into four separate slates. Main, express, Express II and after hours.

We’ve taken our time here and have come up with eight different line combos. Some expensive and some cheap lines. It was very confusing at first glance but the numbers spoke to me. They told me to follow my heart!

Gabriel Landeskog L1 & PP1
Nathan MacKinnon L1 & PP1
Mikko Ratingen L1 & PP1

Valeri Nichushkin L2 & PP2
Nazem Kadri L2 & PP1
Andre Burakovsky L2

I’m going to lump both Colorado lines together in this one. They jumped off the page to me right off the bat. That first power play line is going to do some damage tonight in Ottawa.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins L2 & PP1
Leon Draisaitl L2 & PP1
Kailer Yamamoto L2 & PP2

Edmonton’s second line is actually ranked higher and a little better then their first line! All thanks to Leon and Ryan Nug! They both play on the first power play with Connor. That’s really what we’re after here. McDavid is at 1.49 points a game. So the trick here is to get a piece of him without his spending up on his crazy high salary.

Ilya Kovalchuk L2 & PP2
Nick Suzuki L2 & PP1
Joel Armia L2 & PP2

Montreal is a home favorite tonight vs. the Ducks. The Canadians have a 3 goal implication tonight and I think they meet it with ease!

James van Riemsdyk L1 & PP1
Claude Giroux L1 & PP1
Travis Konecny L1 & PP1

The Flyers are another team who jumped off the computer screen at me today. The Devils are in Philly tonight and they are a massive underdog. Look for the Flyers top line to exceed their 3.4 implied goal implication. Fire up their top line with confidence!

Johnny Gaudreau L2 & PP1
Sean Monanhan L2 & PP1
Buddy Robinson L2

Back to the Calgary 2 well again! Nashville is in Calgary tonight and its completely split down the middle! Goal implications and all! Their second line is a tad pricy but could pay dividends on the power play.

Jeff Skinner L3 & PP1
Evan Rodrigues L3 & PP2
Rasmus Asplund L3

The Red Wings are in town tonight so I wouldn’t be upset if any of you went with BUF1 and Jack Eichel. Buffalos third line is a nice way to get some salary relief.

Jaden Schwartz L2 & PP1
Brayden Schenn L2 & PP1
Robert Thomas L2 & PP2

The Blues are favorites tonight at home against the Jets. They are projected win at 70% with a 3.3 goal implication. Most people will flock to the Blues first line. Best production will come from their second line.

Oh boy! I’d be an idiot not to mention this one. Loaded with massive stars but all at extremely high prices. Best thing I can tell you is look for a few one offs on each 1st or 2nd line. Like Pittsburgh’s Jared McCann or Dominik Simon. Both play on the Penguins top line with Crosby and they are both under $5k.
Same principles apply for Tampa Bay. Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson come to mind. Both play on the Lightening second line and get some PP2 minutes. They are both under 5k as well!

Happy hunting! As always these lines are to be used for fun! Please play responsibly!
