2020 MLB Mock Draft (Round 19)

What sets fantasy baseball aside for me is all the strategy that goes in. Some owners like crafty veterans while other want young prospects. There is no right way! It’s your team! You’re able to build it how you want!

I’m asking you all now to please get involved in a dynasty start up. I’m not trying to push my ideals on anyone but I promise you’ll thank me later! The excitement that builds inside of me this time of year can only be explained as Christmas 1989 and getting my first Nintendo. Only this time you get to relive that excitement over and over.

We all find our own way in terms of fantasy sports. There is no wrong way! Build how you want and build to maximize your enjoyment.

What I’m going to bring you this time around is a 14 team mixed league mock draft. 5×5 rotisserie scoring format. Which means, batting average, home runs, RBI’s, stolen bases and runs for hitters. Wins, saves, ERA, strikeouts and WHIP for pitchers.

ROUND 19

253. Randal Grichuk OF-Toronto Blue Jays

Still adding power along with opposite field bombs.

254. Dee Gordon 2B-Seattle Mariners

Dee wont hurt your BA while adding a few stolen bases.

255. Eric Hosmer 1B-San Diego Padres

Solid first-basemen playing with a young up-and-coming group.

256. Reynaldo Lopez SP-Chicago White Sox

I’m giving him a chance this season. The lineup should back him up too.

257. Lance McCullers Jr SP-Houston Astros

Has looked great coming away from Tommy Johns.

258. Ian Kennedy RP-Kansas City Royals

Should push himself into the top-10 of RP’s. This late that’s good as gold.

259. MacKenzie Gore SP-San Diego Padres

San Diego has shown no issue with promoting young talent. Kid has IT and expect him up after the break.

260. Austin Hays OF-Baltimore Orioles

Young kid with an organization going nowhere this season. Keep an eye out and hope they start him right of the bat.

261. Kenta Maeda SP-Los Angeles Dodgers

Ryu is gone and aside from Walker why can’t Maeda be a stud?

262. Stephen Piscotty OF-Oakland Athletics

Missed major time due to injury but when he’s healthy he’s a solid OF assets.

263. Shin-soo Choo OF-Tampa Bay Rays

Choo is as consistent as they come. Not flashy but gets it done. Leads off too…

264. Ryan Yarbrough SP-Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays should have continued success this year and Ryan will be a big part of it.

265. John Means SP-Baltimore Orioles

12 wins with a 3.60 ERA last season, maybe pitchers can succeed in Baltimore!

266. Nico Hoerner SS-Chicago Cubs

I fully expect Nico to be starting in 2020. He gives you solid BA-SB upside and double digit HR’s!
