2020 MLB Mock Draft (Round 14)

What sets fantasy baseball aside for me is all the strategy that goes in. Some owners like crafty veterans while other want young prospects. There is no right way! It’s your team! You’re able to build it how you want!

I’m asking you all now to please get involved in a dynasty start up. I’m not trying to push my ideals on anyone but I promise you’ll thank me later! The excitement that builds inside of me this time of year can only be explained as Christmas 1989 and getting my first Nintendo. Only this time you get to relive that excitement over and over.

We all find our own way in terms of fantasy sports. There is no wrong way! Build how you want and build to maximize your enjoyment.

What I’m going to bring you this time around is a 14 team mixed league mock draft. 5×5 rotisserie scoring format. Which means, batting average, home runs, RBI’s, stolen bases and runs for hitters. Wins, saves, ERA, strikeouts and WHIP for pitchers.

ROUND 14

183. David Peralta OF-Arizona Diamondbacks

Another injury discount worth investing in. Don’t forget he hit 30 HR’s in 2018.

184. Carson Kelly C-Arizona Diamondbacks

All he needed was the opportunity and he’s ran with it.

185. Yoshitomo Tsutsugo OF-Tampa Bay Rays

The power potential is very real along with his on base skills.

186. Emilio Pagan RP-San Diego Padres

His skills are elite but finds himself behind Kirby Yates in SD. His value takes a hit but should still work in high leverage situations.

187. Jean Segura SS-Philadelphia Phillies

Had a down season and now he’s being buried. Makes no sense to me. Draft with confidence.

188. Jose Quintana SP-Chicago Cubs

If you look into Q’s 2019 season he was one the most unlucky SP’s. Regardless, his strikeout has continued to drop over the past three seasons.

189. Luke Weaver SP-Arizona Diamondbacks

Missed half the season with an elbow issue but finished on the mound. Could breakout!

190. Joey Lucchesi SP-San Diego Padres

Left handed pitcher looking to take a step forward this season.

191. Archie Bradley RP-Arizona Diamondbacks

Top tier RP potential and a low RP price. Can’t go wrong with Archie.

192. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. OF-Toronto Blue Jays

Gurriel Jr. can be a strong four category performer. Only issue is his health.

193. Sean Doolittle RP-Washington Nationals

His ERA and WHIP aren’t the best but he’s closing for the defending champs looking to repeat.

194. Miguel Andujar DH-New York Yankees

Kid is young and packed with power! Only problem now is where will he play?

195. Nomar Mazara OF-Chicago White Sox

The hype is all gone and I’m going to buy. Plus I’ve always had a soft spot for Nomar. He goes to an awesome up-and-coming White Sox lineup. Hopefully a platoon isn’t in his future.

196. AJ Pollock OF-Los Angeles Dodgers

This guy! Will he ever stay healthy? I doubt it but if he does…
