Bottom of the Barrel Divisional Round

Bottom of the Barrel Divisional Round
1/10/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

Are you superstitious? What extremes have you gone to ensure your team wins? After Wild Card weekend it is safe to assume Cleveland Brown fans have done the most! Praying, wearing jerseys, rubbing stones, or even bowing down to tchotchkes. Whatever the Cleveland faithful have done it is clearly working!

Up next is the Divisional Round, the final four! Meaning, there is little to no room for error. We must be damn near perfect. Which is possible if we stay the course and dig in to Bottom of the Barrel. This article is not the end all be for DFS value plays, but it has been unbelievably effective all season. You have trusted me, and the continued support only makes me work harder. No time to let up now. Let us finish strong!

This article started as a never-ending quest for daily fantasy football advice but in an odd way Bottom of the Barrel incorporates three ideals I practice often. Setting goals, taking risk, and reassessing my life on a weekly basis. To be successful in DFS we need to be right within as well.

It is time! It is time to start looking at our DFS lines for the Divisional round!

QUARTERBACK

Tom Brady TB @ NO (7th)(FD-$7,700)(DK-$6,300)

Realistically, TB12 has shown no signs of slowing down. While Drew Brees may call is a career after this season

Tom is washed man. It is all over for him. That was cute! Now what? Playoff Tom has been activated! 381 passing yards and two touchdown passes in Tampa’s Wild Card win Saturday.

Baker Mayfield CLE @ KC (25th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$5,300)

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield

Cleveland does not stand a chance in Kansas City on Sunday, right? Not so fast! The Browns completely laid waste to the Steelers, at Heinz Field nonetheless, on Sunday. Momentum in professional sports is a real thing! The Browns have some major momentum and a ton of confidence right now! It cannot be denied. CLE @ KC also has the highest over/under of the weekend at 56. You are going to want a piece of this game!

Let’s not forget when Baker and Mahomes played against each other college!

Drew Brees NO vs TB (19th)(FD-$7,300)(DK-$5,600)

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees

Another seemingly done noodle arm QB, Drew Brees, got it done last weekend. Now the Saints turn their attention to TB12 and the Tampa Bay Bucs. As a divisional foe, Drew hung 382 total passing yards along with six total touchdowns in two games against Tampa this season. Drew Brees is cheaper source of fantasy points this weekend. Add where needed!

Jared Goff LAR @ GB (3rd)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,200)

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff

Throughout the course of the season one thing has become apparent. You either love Goff or you hate him. Which side of the fence are you on? Jared was thrust into action Saturday in Seattle after an awful injury to John Wolford. Goff did enough to help his team advance and here we are.

RUNNING BACK

Cam Akers LAR @ GB (27th)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,700)

Los Angeles Rams rookie RB Cam Akers

If I have said it once I have said it a million times, Cam is an elite level talent. What is shocking to me has been all the Hendy vs Akers chatter on social media. I rarely give my personal opinions on social media because it is just not worth the headache. In a way I let the players do their thing and we move on. Cam is seeing a ton of carries and his YPC is extremely healthy! Do not overthink, roster the rookie!

J.K. Dobbins BAL @ BUF (23rd)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$6,000)

Baltimore Ravens rookie RB J.K. Dobbins

Speaking of impressive rookie RB’s, JK is now Baltimore’s RB1. Dobbins is not necessarily racking up the yardage but’s he has been extremely efficient! Scoring a touchdown in seven straight games! Saturday in Buffalo has all the makings of a heavyweight match-up. 50-point o/u with plenty of fantasy points to go around. Please get in on the action!

Ronald Jones II TB @ NO (1st)(FD-$6,300)(DK-$5,200)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones II

RoJo missed Tampa’s Wild Card contest due to a quadricep issue. As it stands now, Jones is still uncertain for Sundays game in New Orleans. Even if he can play is worth it? With only four teams playing our room for error is very slim! A 0.0 at any position this weekend would be devastating.

Leonard Fournette TB @ NO (1st)(FD-$6,300)(DK-$4,900)

Tampa Bay RB Leonard Fournette

In Ronald Jones absence Leo carried the ball nineteen times for ninety-three yards and a touchdown. Like it or not Fournette is best play Sunday for the Buccaneers. With a little bit of Ke’Shawn Vaughn. (FD-$4,700)(DK-$4,000)

Kareem Hunt CLE @ KC (24th)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$4,800)

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt

Kareem Hunt was outstanding last weekend in the Browns win at Pittsburgh. His talents were on full display. I would imagine Hunt will once again be heavily involved in Kansas City. The combo of Nick Chubb and Hunt have yielded amazing results. Stats and analysis are fun and particularly important but what about the eye test? Kareem sure has passed that one!

Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC vs CLE (5th) (FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,500)

Kansas City Chiefs rookie RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Cleveland is a top-10 defense vs opposing RB’s, so I am not too excited to roster him. Although the rookie RB should be well rested and ready to go. On a positive note, I would expect CEH to see some high-upside type snaps/targets.

Le’Veon Bell KC vs CLE (5th)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,100)

Kansas City RB Le’Veon Bell

The only issue I have here with Bell is the presumptive workload. Will he? Won’t he? The Chiefs had a first-round bye obviously and now CEH should be back and ready to go! Best to use the wait and see approach with Bell this week.

Gus Edwards BAL @ BUF (23rd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,200)

Baltimore Ravens RB Gus Edwards

Baltimore had their way with the Titans on the ground last weekend. Two hundred- and thirty-six-yards rushing yards to be exact. The rushing yards and carries start with Lamar then Dobbins then Gus. One good thing here is the definite pecking order. It is a perfect situation for DFS players like us. There is a safe floor with massive TD upside for Gus this week. Edwards price is too sweet to pass up on in large tournaments this weekend!

Latavius Murray NO vs TB (3rd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,300)

New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray

Murray has been a nice RB complimentary roster filler all season. Why would that change now? Much like Gus Edwards, you know what you are getting from Latavius each week.

Jamaal Williams GB vs LAR (2nd)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,400)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamaal Williams

It is getting harder and harder to roster Jamaal. It is even tough to discuss why we should roster Williams in DFS formats. That coupled with an extremely difficult matchup this week vs the Rams make for an easy decision, just do not. Do not add Jamaal to your DFS teams this weekend. Then in the same breath that makes me want him more. Low ownership and all. I know, it is a sick hobby we have chosen.

WIDE RECIEVER

Jarvis Landry CLE @ KC (2nd)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,600)

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry

Dang! Landry has looked fantastic as of late! Finding the endzone in four times his last six games. Again, stats and analysis will only get you far. Can we all agree the Browns are on one, right? They have some major momentum and are hitting on all cylinders. It is just too heavy to pass up on. Landry needs to be on out DFS teams this weekend.

Antonio Brown TB @ NO (19th)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,400)

Tampa Bay Bucs WR Antonio Brown

Obviously, I would prefer Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but their price is not exactly B&B material. AB has clearly built a rapport with TB12 and will continue to see his targets and touches. Although his role has been limited as of late it is best to think ahead and predict a game script. This game has the potential to be a 28-24 final. Or even 35-31. You will want several pieces of this one!

Cooper Kupp LAR @ GB (3rd)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,300)

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp

Kupp is ok! Kupp is going to play Saturday in Green Bay. Cooper has bursitis in his knee and will be limited in practice this week. Do not let that deter you from rostering him this weekend. Who knows how the coverage of the Rams WR’s is going to shake out? The idea of the Alexander treatment mixed with his swollen knee just might scare enough people away from Kupp giving those of us who roster him a leverage advantage!

Gabriel Davis BUF vs BAL (5th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,000)

Buffalo Bills rookie WR Gabriel Davis

Word is out! Yet, Gabe’s price on both formats have not really caught up. That is a perfect storm in my eyes! Davis has seen at least four targets their last seven games. While Gabe’s snap count decreased with the return of John Brown how long will that last? May I ask you all a serious question? Who are the Bills WR2 now? Go ahead, answer open and honestly!

Allen Lazard GB vs LAR (1st)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,900)

Green Bay Packers WR Alan Lazard

Lazard has not done much recently. Allen has topped three receptions or twenty yards his last two games. He has not even recorded anything over sixty yards since Green Bay played New Orleans at the end of September. So why should we consider Allen Lazard this week? Green Bay at home in a late afternoon playoff game is too sweet. Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an MVP rate and will do simply fine spreading the ball around. Davante Adams will be busy lined up against Jalen Ramsey forcing Rodgers to be surgical and methodical Saturday. I like that idea!

Rashard Higgins CLE @ KC (2nd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,100)

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins

If you remember correctly Cris Collingsworth said during the CLE @ PIT broadcast Sunday night how enamored Baker is to Higgins. So, I investigated it. Rashard has seen twenty-five targets his last four games. In order of games, it has gone 7, 3, 5 and 10 targets wise. It is something we need to pay attention to Sunday in Kansas City.

Deonte Harris NO vs TB (24th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,500)

New Orleans Saints WR Deonte Harris

Fresh off the IR Harries lead the Saints in receptions and receiving yards. While tying in targets. Do I expect this to happen again vs Tampa Bay on Sunday? Absolutely not but I would rather be safe then sorry. Again, small slate equal extraordinarily little wiggle room for error. Harris is safer rostered this weekend than not!

Mercole Hardman KC vs CLE (28th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,900)

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mercole Hardman

Adding Hardman in our lines this weekend is a tough sell. Yet realistically it is not a horrible decision. Once again, has everything to do with the game script, the defense, and the projected point totals.

Equanimeous St. Brown GB vs LAR (1st)(FD-$4,700)(DK-$3,000)

Green Bay WR Equanimeous St. Brown

Nothing special to say here. Just the fact I believe Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers have their way with the Rams on Saturday. This one could wind up where Rodgers distributes the ball so well every single WR gets in on the fun. Just a thought.

TIGHT END

Robert Tonyan GB vs LAR (17th)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$4,200)

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan

Tonyan catches touchdowns. That is what he does. That is, it. End of blurb.

Rob Gronkowski TB @ NO (26th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$3,600)

Tampa Bay Bucs TE Rob Gronkowski

Playoff Gronk has yet to make an appearance. Rob gave us a steaming pile of 0.0 last weekend. Was it game flow? Was it match-up based? Whatever it was I do not expect it to continue this weekend in New Orleans. Yet, I passionately believe Gronks 0.0 performance is still fresh enough to push DFS players away this weekend. Just in time for a two-touchdown celebration on our rosters!

Jared Cook NO vs TB (21st)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,000)

New Orleans Saints TE Jared Cook

There he is! Again! Cook tied for the team lead in targets (7) last weekend and yet I have not heard a peep about him. Am I comfortable playing Jared this week vs the Bucs? I am fully fading on Fanduel, but he is a full send on Draftkings this weekend. All pricing related.

Austin Hooper CLE @ KC (30th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$3,800)

Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper

Hooper has picked up the pace in terms of production. He caught 7-of-11 targets Sunday night in Pittsburgh. Let us not get overzealous though, all Browns players got in on the fun. Austin has seen a whopping 31 targets in the last three games and has gone over at least 10.5 fantasy points during that time.

Tyler Higbee LAR @ GB (5th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,000)

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee

Please do not play Tyler Higbee this weekend. Only reason I added him in this space is to finally close my personal folder on him. He has been the odd man out what looks like all season. The fact he is over $5,000 on Fanduel is laughable.

Dawson Knox BUF vs BAL (7th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,100)

Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox

Despite popular belief, Dawson Knox is now a thing. No way around it folks. The Buffalo Bills are humming on offense and we should stake claim to as many pieces of this offense as possible! Knox is no exception!

Cameron Brate TB @ NO (26th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$2,900)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate

Brate caught four of six targets for eighty yards in Wild Card weekend. Is there a chance it is going to be Gronk or Brate each week? Back and forth? Who knows, that sounds exhausting. Just keep an eye out when you are building lines for the divisional round. The potential and the price are ripe for the picking!

Harrison Bryant CLE @ KC (30th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)

Cleveland Browns rookie TE Harrison Bryant

Shot in the dark here. Harrison was not target Sunday night vs Pittsburgh after being activated from the COVID-IR. He only played 22 snaps as well. It is obvious why; the entire team was dealing with COVID scares and quarantines. It is no secret I normally punt the TE spot and Bryant is on my radar as a flyer!

Bottom of the Barrel WK17

Bottom of the Barrel WK17
12/30/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

How fast has this season gone by to you? In most cases week 17 is easier to navigate then other weeks during the season. Playoff spots are locked up. Several good players are rested in preparation of the actual NFL playoffs. Thus, creating massive value with backup players!

It has been a wild season. So many ups and so many downs yet we’ve made it.

Let me swift through this week for you! Patrick Mahomes has already been given the day off! So has Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh. Going to be an odd Sunday!

QUARTERBACK

What’s shocking is the fact I keep writing “new feature” in Bottom of the Barrel to mention the most expensive player at each position. Yet here we are, last week of the regular season. That is how fast this season has gone!

Drew Brees NO @ CAR (16th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$5,900)

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees

Drew looked sharper in last week’s contest after his extended layoff. This week will be all about knocking the rust off and getting to sharpen the blade for the NFC playoffs.

Dalvin Cook MIN @ DET (31st)(FD-$10,400)(DK-$9,200)

Bottom of the Barrel WK16

Bottom of the Barrel WK16
12/22/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

Here we are! A few short days away from Christmas. Time flies when you are having fun right? This year is a testament that regardless of your attitude and surroundings time still flies. The sun still rises and sets. The Earth still spins!

Does anyone know the definition of insanity? Read from a dictionary it reads, the state of being mentally ill, madness. If we dig a little deeper the secondary definition states, extreme foolishness, or irrationality. By definition I have been insane for years! No, I am not clinically insane locked up in a padded room wearing a strait jacket. I do, however, tend to act with extreme foolishness with a touch of irrationality. My definition of insanity goes like this, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well, if that isn’t the truth! Let us apply this sentence to the life of a DFS player! Each week we read the same articles, visit the same websites, and text the same people.

If you have not put two and two together yet let me spell it out for you. We are all insane. All DFS players are nuts! Especially you, right now for reading this! I already know your next thought. Well, aren’t you, Chris Robin, part of the problem then? Funny you should ask because I was just about to explain myself! If Bottom of the Barrel is part of your research memorandum each week then did, I just contradict myself? The same ole same ole? Reading the same piece of boring trash each week expecting different results? The answer is quite simple! No! No way! In an odd yet humble way I believe B&B is unique from most DFS related articles.

QUARTERBACKS

Below is the most expensive player at QB in week 16. Just helps me put the B&B player prices in perspective!

Patrick Mahomes KC vs ATL (32nd)(FD-$9,400)(DK-$8,500)

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Here are some cheaper options at QB in week 16 I love!

Mitchell Trubisky CHI @ JAX (31st)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,700)

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky

Mitch has been on a heater! He has had success moving out and around the pocket and finding the open receiver. This week in Jacksonville he may not be expected to do much. Manage the game and feed David Montgomery. Yet I could a see case where Mitch has the quietest three touchdown pass day ever!

Andy Dalton DAL vs PHI (17th)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,500)

Dallas Cowboys QB Andy Dalton

Oh yuck. If you read the opening in its entirety, then you know the theme here is insanity. Willingly rostering Andy Dalton is quite sickening. Yet, over his last five games Andy has 10:3 TD:INT ratio. Having won three of those last five games.

Sam Darnold NYJ vs CLE (24th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,000)

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold

The New York football Jets enter this contest fresh off their first win of the season! Dare I say that Sam Darnold has some momentum? He topped 200+ passing yards for the first time since week 4! He played a mistake free game as well! Wait, not entirely mistake free seeing how he was sacked twice and fumbled once. To be clear, the fumble was not lost. The Jets regained possession. I think that is a good sign, don’t you?

Dwayne Haskins WSH vs CAR (18th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$4,800)

Washington Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins

I have no plans of rostering Dwayne this week or any other week to be clear. I have this platform, so I would like to use it briefly. Dwayne Haskins is a child. An uneducated fool. Getting the starting gig back in week 15 in place of real starting QB, Alex Smith, he proceeded to go out after the game. To a local club, around others without wearing a mask. I am not here to debate social issues and mask wearing but I want to give my opinion on this immature imbecile. Any sane person with common sense would tell you that this is awful. It is unbelievably stupid. Unfortunately, Dwayne is not a regular working-class kid. He is a professional football player. He has put his teammates and coaches at risk. He is harming his team big time. I would not be shocked if Washington fired him. Cut him loose, good luck elsewhere stupid. After all this time how does an individual not know this behavioral will not be tolerated. It goes beyond immaturity. It is borderline negligent and extremely dangerous.

Ryan Finley CIN @ HOU (15th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$4,800)

Cincinnati Bengals QB Ryan Finley

Let reel it in and discuss some positivity! Ryan Finley looked damn good Monday night! He was running all over the place! He was throwing all over the field too! If the Bengals can play with that same sense of toughness, they did vs the Steelers they may have a winning streak on their hands!

RUNNING BACKS

Below is the most expensive player at RB in week 16. Just helps me put the B&B player prices in perspective!

Christian McCaffery CAR @ WSH (4th)(FD-$10,000)(DK-$9,200)

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffery

Don’t freak out. No idea if CMC will be active this week. He’s offered on both sites only reason I’m mentioning him here.

Here are some cheaper options I love at RB in week 16!

Antonio Gibson WSH vs CAR (25th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$6,600)

Washington rookie RB Antonio Gibson

Nothing concrete yet but if Gibby is active we should all be licki9ng our chops! Washington is currently the 4th seed in the NFC playoff picture and 1st place in the NFC East! I would imagine the Football Team is walking a thin line between letting the rookie heal yet needed him back ASAP! More Gibson news should be made available as the weeks goes on. Pay close attention! If he is active, I will have 100% exposure!

Le’Veon Bell KC vs ATL (7th)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,800)

Kansas City RB Le’Veon Bell

Bell will no doubt be a popular play this weekend after rookie RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire was injured. In all honestly, I do not think this game will be particularly close. Two teams heading in opposite directions. Do the Chiefs give Bell a steady dose of carries? Prepare him for larger roll in the playoffs? CEH has already been declared OUT for the remainder of the 2020 season. My money is on Bell see the lions share of carries from here on out.

Tony Pollard DAL vs PHI (11th)(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,500)

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard

If you were Jerry Jones what would you do with Zeke for the remainder of the season? Exactly! I would do the same. Let me spell it out for anyone not too sure what we are think. I would 100% absolutely give Elliot these final two games off. Go away, go rest, go relax and rediscover yourself. Zeke has clearly not been the Zeke of old. I still believe it was due in large part to Dak and that gruesome leg injury. I also passionately believe Zeke will return to form in 2021. Until that day lets get Tony P. 20-25 total touches a game. If that is the case our DFS lines will certainly pop off!

J.K. Dobbins BAL vs NYG (21st)(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,200)

Baltimore Ravens rookie RB J.K. Dobbins

It is official right? The Mark Ingram era in Baltimore is officially over. It is the JK & Gus show from here on out. To sweeten the deal Dobbins has scored a touchdown in four straight games. The Ravens are hitting their stride at the absolute perfect time. Spend the money on JK this weekend. Merry Christmas!

Giovani Bernard CIN @ HOU (31st)(FD-$6,000)DK-$4,800)

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard

My B&B notes are normally done by bedtime on Sunday night. Only reason I tell you this is the fact I was 50/50 that Gio was going to be mentioned here. Then Monday Night Football happened, and it made me smile! Gio scored twice and racked up 97 total yards. At this rate Bernard just might be a nice safe play rest of the season. Safe with multi-touchdown upside! Plus, it would not be Bottom of the Barrel if we were not picking on the Houston Texans DST!

Wayne Gallman Jr. NYG @ BAL (15th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,700)

New York Giants RB Wayne Gallman Jr.

Fantasy football is a fickle beast. We use players up and spit them out. Case in point, Wayne Gallman Jr. We had a few good weeks together, me and Wayne, now it looks to be a committee backfield with Alfred Morris (FD-$4,700)(DK-$4,000). In all seriousness who is to say we cannot stack Alf & Wayne in week 16. Has all the makings of a cool cartoon at-least. The Adventures of Alf & Wayne!

J.D. McKissic WSH vs CAR (25th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$6,400)

Washington Football Team RB JD McKissic

I seriously cannot quit this guy! I will have to go back and check, but I am almost certain McKissic has set a B&B record for consecutive weeks mentioned in the article. To be honest I can think of several other backs that would make me look foolish if I were attached too. Without Gibby or with Gibby, JD has a definite role on this team, and I am going roster him each week! Sunday vs the Panthers will be no exception!

Ito Smith ATL @ KC (24th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$4,000)

Atlanta Falcons RB Ito Smith

Is anyone else bummed out about Todd Gurley basically being replaced? Todd was a mainstay in our fantasy lines for several seasons. Looks like that time is over. Ito has been named the Falcons RB1. Which does not mean much but it opens some big-time value and salary relief for our DFS lines rest of season.

Rashaad Penny SEA vs LAR (5th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$4,000)

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny

Here is the deal, it is shocking how many messages I receive about Penny. So, I would like to discuss them all right now. In order if I may. Yes, yes, no, maybe, no chance, sometimes, yes, and yes. Hopefully, that helps!

WIDE RECEIVERS

Below is the most expensive player at WR in week 16. Just helps me put the B&B player prices in perspective.

Tyreek Hill KC vs ATL (32nd)(FD-$9,400)(DK-$9,000)

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill

Oh boy, if you like spend money on either site here is your golden goose for week 16.

Below are some cheaper options at WR I love this week!

DJ Chark JAX vs CHI (4th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,800)

Jacksonville Jaguars WR D.J. Chark

People want Chark to be a thing so bad. Like bad. Talking about it constantly on social media bad. Not being rude, just seeing! That is where people get in trouble. Someone simply sees then gets ridiculed for it. Ala Captain Obvious, who people pick on. What just happened? Back to DJ, his price has dropped to a more respectable place allowing us to toss him in our lines and only being helped, not hurt, if that makes sense. I would be willing to bet Chark has his lowest ownership of the season in week 16. Thus, making him important for all who take the plunge!

Curtis Samuel CAR @ WSH (3rd)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,900)

Carolina Panther WR Curtis Samuel

Samuel led the team in targets (9) in week 15 but only caught four. Curtis also carried the ball twice for six yards. Sunday is going to be a tough task for the Panthers. Especially their skill position players. Yet, in an odd sick way that is why I love them this week! Say it with me now, LOW OWNERSHIP! Which means nothing if they do not produce. Look for Carolina get creative with Curtis and back to their gadgetry ways!

Tee Higgins CIN @ HOU (23rd)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$4,700)

Cincinnati Bengals rookie WR Tee Higgins

Personally, Tee Higgins hurt my feelings last night. Needed him to score 15+ points to make my dynasty final and it did not happen. I must be objective here for you, the reader. So, like a true professional I will do that. Dear Tee, I hate your stinking guts. You make me vomit. You are the scum between my toes. Love, DetroitBeastie.

Well, I tried! In all seriousness Higgins has been targeted a ton and I do not expect that to change against a very favorable matchup in Houston.

Russell Gage ATL @ KC (2nd)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,100)

Atlanta Falcons WR Russel Gage

Now we are talking! Gage has emerged as one heck of a complimentary WR to Calvin Ridley. What? Calvin not Julio you say? At this point in the season, we need to grasp onto any positive situation or ideal winning situation we can! Russ has now caught a TD pass in three straight games and cannot be ignored any longer. In week 16 the Falcons travel to Kansas City. At first glance you would think it was a bad matchup or awful idea to play any Falcons. I respectfully disagree! ATL @ KC has an over/under of 53.5 points! Atlanta should be down early and often. Forcing Matt Ryan to throw 45+ times! Russ also known as Mr. Unlimited 2 should do simply fine Sunday!

Greg Ward PHI @ DAL (30th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$5,100)

Philadelphia Eagles WR Greg Ward

Greg Ward has been a guy in and out of B&B. Classic case of skip him, he does well. Add him in the article he puts up a dud. He has treated me this way all season. Look at week 15. Greg caught four passes for a miniscule fifteen yards but scored twice! So, let us try again here with Greg Ward! Care to join me?

Jalen Guyton LAC vs DEN (14th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,200)

Los Angeles Chargers rookie WR Jalen Guyton

If you have paid any attention to Bottom of the Barrel this season, I am sure you have noticed my love for the rookie. Jalen running routes for Justin Herbert is a thing of beauty. The long-term outlook here is brighter than I thought possible looking back. In terms of week 16 I am fully expecting another respectable game from Jalen. Dare I say four receptions for around seventy yards and a touchdown? Jalen is the ultimate boom candidate this weekend!

Darnell Mooney CHI @ JAX (25th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,000)

Chicago Bears rookie WR Darnell Mooney

Let us play a game. If you have time? Choose your preferred method of fantasy points. Total yardage? Or total touchdowns? Sounds silly doesn’t it? Let me explain! Mooney has received a touchdown in back-to-back-games yet has failed to eclipse to 50+ total yards. I can say with full confidence that Darnell Mooney will score for the third straight week and will total more than 50 yards!

Laviska Shenault Jr. JAX vs CHI (4th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,700)

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Laviska Shenault Jr.

I did that right? The Jaguars may let the rookie play a little quarterback? Oh boy! Looks like we have another Taysom Hill situation on our hands!

TIGHT END

Below is the most expensive player at WR in week 16. Just helps me put the B&B player prices in perspective.

Travis Kelce KC vs ATL (30th)(FD-$8,800)(DK-$8,500)

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce

Yet again, three of the four positions are dominated by Kansas City Chiefs. They are good that is no surprise.

Here are some cheaper options I am rolling with at TE in week 16!

Cole Kmet CHI @ JAX (25th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,200)

Chicago Bears rookie TE Cole Kmet

Well friends, I was wrong in week 15. Sixty yards and touchdown were not achieved by the rookie tight end last week. Not even close if I am being honest yet here I am again. Once again asking you to consider adding Kmet in your DFS lines for week 16.

Dalton Schultz DAL vs PHI (23rd)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,200)

Dallas Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Dalton has been a solid streaming option at tight end all season. No more no less. That is exactly what he is this week at home vs the divisional rival Philadelphia Eagles. I have this game down for somewhere in 28-24 final range. Meaning, plenty of points to go around.

Jordan Akins HOU vs CIN (27th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,300)

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins

Like the game we played with Mooney above but the opposite effect. Jordan is catching passes and racking up yardage but one touchdown all season. At his lowly price, this week think I am willing to take a chance on him, yet again.

Austin Hooper CLE @ NYJ (32nd)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,500)

Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper

I find it shocking that Hooper caught five passes for 41 yards and a touchdown and his price on both sites is on the low end given the match-up in week 16. Going to be tough getting away from Hooper this week. Especially the way Baker Mayfield has been playing.

Chris Herndon NYJ vs CLE (26th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,500)

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon

Scroll all the way up to Sam Darnold. I can wait, no rush. Ah you are back! Winning streak, right? Catching my drift here?

Here are two of my sample lines I am going to use for week 16! Keep in mind these lines are for entertainment purposes! Please play responsible!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Bottom of the Barrel SATURDAY edition

Bottom of the Barrel Special Saturday Edition
12/18/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

We’ve had Monday night football, Tuesday night football, Wednesday football, Thursday football and of course Sunday football. Now we have Saturday night football! What a treat! The season hasn’t gone accordingly to plan but we’ve had a season. That’s the most important thing.

I have always been partial to NFL football on Saturday’s. When you’re a child with no real responsibilities everyday is Saturday. As an adult with nothing but responsibilities it’s quite different. Watching professional football on Saturday instantly makes it feel like a holiday. No where to go. No where to be and nothing to do. We can lay around most of the day and take it in while not feeling awful about it.

We are a few weeks away from Christmas and this year has been challenging to say the least. I believe you owe it to yourself to unplug this Saturday and rest. Take the day to recharge and recoup. I’m aware one day and two football games isn’t going to undo all the stress and anxiety that is 2020 but we must start somewhere.

Bottom of the Barrel has always been for the low-owned and cheaply priced players. The special Saturday edition is going to be a tad different. With only four teams playing our options are limited when compared to a full 10+ team slate. Let’s call this a full slate discussion. Even better, a full slate dissection!

QUARTERBACK

Aaron Rodgers GB vs CAR (21st)(FD-$9,200)(DK-$7,300)

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers at home in December is a different breed! We’ve seen a vintage Aaron Rodgers in 2020. 3,685 passing yards with 39 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. He’s been unbelievable in tandem with stud WR Davante Adams. Noting witty to say here. We all know what to expect for Rodgers on Saturday. I’m going to say 260 yards and 3 TD passes vs CAR.

Josh Allen BUF @ DEN (19th)(FD-$8,400)(DK-$7,200)

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen

After sitting down to write the notes for this article I thought it was easy. It was a breeze. Then when I sat down to type this out and come up with my projections and fun fancy blurbs I was stumped! If you’ve read B&B at any point in the season, then you know I never mention the studs! This article is nothing but studs! It’s a very odd thing! What do I say? What do I do with my hands? The Denver Broncos are middle of the pack defensively but when it comes to QB they are allowing 18 or more points to QB’s so far in 2020. Oh boy.

Teddy Bridgewater CAR @ GB (5th)(FD-$7,300)(DK-$5,200)

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

Realistically, there is little to no reason to pivot off Rodgers and Allen. Yet what’s the point of this article if it was that simple? You know me better then that! Teddy playing in GB Saturday night isn’t the direction our DFS lines should go. The Packers are holding opposing QB’s to the fifth-fewest points per game. When it comes to DFS I’m nuts and sometimes borderline crazy. Only reason to roster Teddy B is for salary relief. Which doesn’t really make sense give the small slate. Unless you’re maxing out GPP’s on Saturday steer clear of Bridgewater.

Drew Lock DEN vs BUF (24th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,000)

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock

What’s odd is the fact I’d prefer Lock over Teddy. Want to know why? It’s simple! The propensity for a higher upside game is there. Teddy and his ceiling are completely capped in GB. While Lock is fresh off a career high in touchdowns (4) and a seasonal high in completions over 25 yards (5). That was last week though and Saturday is a big boy math-up for the Broncos and Drew Lock.

RUNNING BACK

Aaron Jones GB vs CAR (25th)(FD-$8,200)(DK-$7,300)

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones

Over the years of consistently playing DFS I’ve noticed sometimes it’s not always about crunching numbers and projecting DvP matchups. What I have to say here about Aaron Jones is very elementary. Jones was projected off the charts in Detroit in week 14. He did find the endzone, but it wasn’t the slate breaking performance we expected. For that simple fact I’m projecting Jonesy to go crazy Saturday at home. It’s just screaming to me! I can’t shake the thought of a three-touchdown game. Do with that what you will.

Mike Davis CAR @ GB (28th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$6,500)

Carolina Panther RB Mike Davis

Another case of projections and crunching DvP numbers, Mike Davis is the second highest priced RB on Saturday. When I’d prefer MG3. Over the past few days, I’ve seen some very spirited tweets regarding Davis. I had no idea being a Mike Davis loyalist was a thing. Who am I to judge? Last I checked this is America and you’re allowed to do as we please! On paper the match-up is fantastic! The Packers give up the 5th highest points to opposing RB’s. I’m not putting Mike down or telling you to fade. Promise. Let’s just temper our expectations.

Melvin Gordon III DEN vs BUF (16th)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,200)

Denver Broncos RB Melvin Gordon III

Before we get into Melvin Gordon just know I know. I know him and Phil Lindsay are just about splitting work. If I may have a moment of your time, I’d like to discuss why I’d prefer MGIII this week. So, in week 14 MG3 had 16 total touches compared to Phil’s 11. Yet Gordon recorded six total first downs last week. MG3 is clearly the preferred red zone and goal line back. Not to mention offers more, way more, upside in the passing game. In a game that will be closer than most expect, I wouldn’t be shocked to see upwards of 18+ total touches.

Devin Singletary BUF @ DEN (23rd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,100)

Buffalo Bills RB Devin Singletary

At the start of the season we were left scratching our heads in terms of who the heck to use. Fast forward to week 15 and we’re right back where we started. Your guess is as good as mine in terms of who see’s more work in Denver on Saturday. If you’re asking me, I’d choose Devin here cause he’s cheaper.

Zack Moss BUF @ DEN (23rd)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,500)

Buffalo Bills rookie RB Zack Moss

I could be lazy and tell you to see Devin Singletary blurb but that would be rude. The only positive I can pluck here is the fact Denver’s defense usually gives up close to 100 yards a game to opposing RB’s. To me, that doesn’t fly here! There isn’t one favorite back. So now what? Logically I’d think we just split it down the middle. 50 yards for Moss and 50 yards for Devin. So here we are again, back where we started.

Phillip Lindsay DEN vs BUF (16th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,000)

Denver Broncos RB Phil Lindsay

There is no real reason to roster Phil Lindsay Saturday. I’m sorry to my Phillip Lindsay fans. He averaged a meager 2.4 yards a carry in Carolina last week. He has no role in the passing game. Why would you punt the RB position on such a small slate? Let’s say he scores a touchdown Saturday, which is best case scenario, I highly doubt it effects your lineup’s ability to cash. Hard pass.

Jamaal Williams GB vs CAR (25th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,800)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamal Williams

If you could promise me ten or more targets and touches for J-Will on Saturday, I’d be all in. Guess what? I’m all in anyways. The Packers are playing so flipping well this season it’s just fun thinking ahead to positive game scripts. I said this same exact thing last week and I’ll say it again here. Packers get ahead early in this one and they just feed both Jones and Williams. I have no issue stacking both GB running backs.

WIDE RECEIVER

Davante Adams GB vs CAR (14th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$9,400)

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams

C’mon now. I won’t waste your time. We both know what to do here.

Stefon Diggs BUF @ DEN (10th)(FD-$8,200)(DK-$7,900)

Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs

C’mon now. I won’t waste your time. We both know what to do here. Diggs has now caught 100 passes this season. He’s been unbelievably good in his first season with Buffalo. Did you catch the story about Diggs and Allen when they play video games? No matter what their doing if one dies in Call of Duty the other drops what war their fighting to make sure they revive the other. No DFS implication. Just find it cute.

Robby Anderson CAR @ GB (5th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$6,200)

Carolina Panthers WR Robby Anderson

Green Bay is allowing the fifth fewest points to opposing WR’s but that doesn’t affect my opinion on rostering his Saturday. Robby currently sits at 996 receiving yards and will no doubt eclipse 1,000 yards Saturday, in Green Bay, for the first time in his career. At this point in the season, given all the awfulness of 2020 I like this. It’s a feel-good story. No issue if you have 100% exposure to Robby tomorrow.

Curtis Samuel CAR @ GB (5th)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$4,800)

Carolina Panther WR Curtis Samuel

Labeled a gadget guy, in Bottom of the Barrel early in the season, Curtis has ridden that wave and has been fantastic for real life purposes and fantasy purposes! Looking ahead to Saturday in Green Bay his versatility should serve him. Look for Curtis to catch 5-6 passes and carry the ball 2-3 times. Perfect amount of work for the price.

Cole Beasley BUF @ DEN (10th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$4,700)

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley

Mr. Cole Beasley! You sir are a gem! The past four games Cole has seen 38 targets! On a very pass heavy offense, it’s going to be tough getting away from Beasley on Saturday. The middle of the field should his playground in Denver!

Tim Patrick DEN vs BUF (11th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,300)

Denver Broncos WR Time Patrick

Timmy, Timmy, Timmy can’t you see sometimes your targets just hypnotize me! Another week another touchdown for Timmy P! Which makes six total this season. Last Sunday Tim lead the Broncos in receiving yards, snaps and routes ran. He is absolutely in the conversation as a must start Saturday given the small slate.

Gabriel Davis BUF @ DEN (10th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,000)

Buffalo Bills rookie WR Gabriel Davis

Hopefully you’re not getting sick of me talking about the rookie speedster Gabe Davis. Kid has been phenomenal in his first NFL season. Over the last month he’s averaging 15 air yards per target. Has scored in four of the last five games. Buffalo came out Friday to tell us John Brown will not be activated off IR for Saturday’s contest. Denver has been respectful on defense this season but the upside of Davis burning a corner once or twice Saturday is too high!

Allen Lazard GB vs CAR (14th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,100)

Green Bay Packers WR Allen Lazard

Since coming back from injury Lazard hasn’t fully taken over the WR2 job in Green Bay. He’s seeing several targets a game. On Saturday let’s say he sees four targets. Is that enough to consider rostering Allen Lazard? On any other team no.

KJ Hamler DEN vs BUF (11th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,500)

Denver Broncos rookie WR KJ Hamler

If you believe in Drew Locks big arm then consider KJ. Although his target share isn’t as quite where we want it.

Jerry Jeudy DEN vs BUF (11th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,900)

Denver Broncos rookie WR Jerry Jeudy

To be used as a lineup filler on Saturday. Not expecting a huge return on price.

TIGHT END

Robert Tonyan GB vs CAR (24th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$4,500)

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan

This passing game absolutely goes through Davante Adams. Yet can we call Tonyan the second favorite target of Aaron Rodgers? Let’s review and I’ll let you make the decision! Tonyan has scored a touchdown in four straight games. Tonyan has 4+ targets in seven of the last nine games. What do you think?

Noah Fant DEN vs BUF (29th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$3,800)

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant

Fant missed last week due to an illness. Be mindful of that but looking head to Saturdays contest the Buffalo Bills are giving up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. He’s a very safe play in the Saturday only slate.

Dawson Knox BUF @ DEN (6th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$2,800)

Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox

What bums me out is the fact Dawson Knox’s entire week 14 game was defined by his fumble. It’s hard to not consider any pass catching option in this Buffalo offense. Look, I’m realistic and not expecting a slate breaking type of game but at his price on both sites 40 yards on 4 receptions would be perfect.

Two other tight ends I’d consider purely as punts.

Ian Thomas CAR @ GB (7th)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

Nick Vannett DEN vs BUF (29th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,900)

HAPPY HOLIDAY’S!

Bottom of the Barrel WK14

Bottom of the Barrel WK14
12/7/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

If I Had a magic wand I’d bring us all back to that one Christmas where we were coziest. Surrounding by family and friends in front of a fire. With it being just about 2021 I know the holidays aren’t what they used to be. That’s ok, its what we make of it! We need to slow down and take it all in. Stay in bed longer. Turn off your phone. Read a book with a cup of coffee. Go play in the snow. Have an extra portion at dinner. Enjoy yourself!

Here’s to a fantastic holiday season!

Bottom of the Barrel was always my first love when it came to writing. It’s what makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. As I’ve said before sometimes real life gets in the way of our fantasy lives. Bottom of the Barrel is what stopping to smell the roses is to you. It is a time for me to sit down and relax, look around and take in everything around me! I’m glad you’re here!

I’m so thankful for all of you! We’ve been on this wild ride together! What I find exciting is the fact we’re not done yet! The fantasy football playoffs are here! While the real life NFL playoffs are taking shape!

If you’re still rocking with me then thank you! More to come! Lets go dig into week 14!

QUARTERBACK

As we’re accustomed to now here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 13. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Aaron Rodgers GB @ DET (23rd)(FD-$9,100)(DK-$7,500)

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 14!

Matt Ryan ATL @ LAC (27th)(FD-$7,300)(DK-$5,700)

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan

Did you see what the Patriots and Cam Newton did to the Chargers in week 13? I seriously don’t know what to make of Matt Ryan anymore. Has the window officially closed in Atlanta?

Matthew Stafford DET vs. GB (6th)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,700)

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford

Matt went 27/42 for 402 yards and 3 touchdowns. THE LIONS ARE FREE! Free from the awful clown coach! I’m fully expecting Detroit to keep the pedal to the metal these last few games.

Philip Rivers IND @ LV (22nd)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,900)

Indianapolis Colts QB Phillip Rivers

What can I say about Phil that hasn’t already been said? I love the idea of this Colts team getting everyone involved! TY, JT and others! In week 13 Rivers averaged a seasonal best 8.1 yards an attempt along with a 77 percent completion rating. So far this season he’s also averaged 289.3 passing yards a game! Full speed ahead in week 14 for the Colts and Phil Rivers!

Sam Darnold NYJ @ SEA (31st)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,100)

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold

Did I get lucky last week mentioning Sam here? So you believe lightning can strike twice in the same spot? The match-up v SEA sure is giving me that vibe!

Daniel Jones NYG vs. ARZ (24th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,500)

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones

All reports from New York are telling us Danny Dimes has a real shot to play Sunday at home vs. the Cardinals! A Cardinals team that is giving up the 11th most points fantasy points to opposing QB’s!

Mike Glennon JAX vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,100)

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Mike Glennon

Jacksonville has now used three different QB’s this season. Who would you prefer? Who has been the best? Does it really matter? With Mike at QB it’s still the James Robinson show. Although a kid like Collin Johnson has been targeted heavily. The Titans DST is a favorable match-up for the Jags. Use with caution!

Jalen Hurts PHI vs. NO (8th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,100)

Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts

As it stands now Eagles HC Doug Pederson has yet to choose a starting QB for week 14. It would be wise for him to choose Hurts rest of the way. Keep your eyes open! UPDATE: Jalen Hurts has been named the starting QB for week 14!

RUNNING BACK

Dalvin Cook MIN @ TB (3rd)(FD-$10,200)(DK-$9,400)

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook

Oh look! Cooks price has come down another $200 on Fanduel!

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 14!

Miles Sanders PHI vs. NO (1st)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$6,200)

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders

What gives? What the heck is Dougie P doing with Miles? It’s been awful! Its been a travesty! It just might cost Doug his job! In the meantime, Sanders price has dipped big time. So low that it can’t be ignored! The talent doesn’t match the price. The talent doesn’t match the usage. He’s worth an open and honest look in week 14 give the price.

Melvin Gordon III DEN @ CAR (25th)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,200)

Denver Broncos RB Melvin Gordon III

Melvin or Phil? Phil or Melvin? Again, does it really matter? Gordon carried the ball 15 times for a season high 131yds. Phil is going to get carries. So is MGIII! I just don’t see a case where we can talk bad about Melvin and his workload. On Sunday the Broncos travel to Carolina. A Panthers team that’s allowing the 8th most fantasy points to RB’s. Expect a heavy dose of Melvin.

Wayne Gallman Jr. NYG vs. ARZ (18th)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,700)

New York Giants RB Wayne Gallman Jr.

What an absolute treat Wayne has been this season! He saw his five game touchdown streak come to an end. Yet he’s seen 12 or more carries in five straight games! I’d fully expect Gallman Jr. to find the end zone again on Sunday! Do I hear twice?

Myles Gaskin MIA vs. KC (19th)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,600)

Miami Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin

Welcome back there kid! Myles looked good in his first game back after a four game layoff. Gaskin is without a doubt the RB1 for Miami. Now look, I know what you’re thinking! A tilt against the Chiefs on Sunday is a tough task. The talent is there and I’m expecting him to see around 18 total carries.

Phillip Lindsay DEN @ CAR (25th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$4,300)

Denver Broncos RB Phil Lindsay

I’ve had great success this season stacking same team RB’s! The Denver running backs are no exception! The match-up is perfect! You can count on Phil getting double digit carries. Roster BOTH Bronco RB’s and accumulate all the points!

TY Johnson NYJ @ SEA (24th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,700)

New York Jets RB TY Johnson

This one is crazy I know but it is Bottom of the Barrel! If father time Frank Gore can’t clear the concussion protocol by game day then it’s the TY Johnson show! What if I could promise you 20 or more carries for TY on Sunday? Would that be enough to change your mind?

Latavius Murray NO @ PHI (11th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$5,900)

New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray

We’ve seen the benefit of Taysom Hill at QB. We’ve also see the negative. Alvin Kamara has seen his receptions all but disappear. While we’ve seen Murray’s usage boosted big time! I want to take full advantage of this on Sunday.

Chase Edmonds ARZ @ NYG (21st)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,600)

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmunds

Chase has seen his passing down work rise. In week 13 the production was awful. It was far below his seasonal average. That screams perfect timing even with Drake in the lineup!

J.D. McKissic WSH @ SF (7th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,900)

Washington Football Team RB JD McKissic

Ten targets and ten receptions! JD continues to produce in PPR formats! There is just no way around anymore! If rookie RB Antonio Gibson cannot play due to a toe issue then I will seriously consider grabbing McKissic in 100% of my lines! It’s just too sweet not to! Peyton Barber will more then likely be the starting RB further hiding the talent of JD. Which we want for DFS purposes!

Jamaal Williams GB @ DET (32nd)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$6,000)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamal Williams

A receiving secondary back vs. the Detroit Lions. What more should I say? Detroit is awful against opposing RB’s. Yeah they’ve been better but Rodgers, Jones and Adams are going to absolutely wear this defense down. J-Will should see a healthy workload in this one!

Jeremy McNichols TEN @ JAX (29th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$4,000)

Tennessee Titans RB Jeremy McNicols

Follow me here if you’d like but I think Tennessee wipes the floor with the Jags. So much so they try to preserve Henry in the second half. What do you think about Jeremy seeing 10-12 carries in the second half?

Tony Pollard DAL @ CIN (20th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$5,300)

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard

What the heck is going on with Zeke? What’s even more shocking is the fact Dallas is still alive in the divisional race! As awful as it sounds I firmly believe the Cowboys have their way with Cincinnati on Sunday. Grind them down with Zeke and let Tony take them home!

WIDE RECEIVER

Davante Adams GB @ DET (25th)(FD-$9,600)(DK-$9,300)

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 14!

Allen Lazard GB @ DET (25th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,000)

Green Bay Packers WR Alan Lazard

After some time away with an injury Lazard is now fully entrenched as GB’s WR2. Like it or not Aaron Rodgers is an MVP candidate and should absolutely shred the Lions defense. Look for Lazard to find the end zone Sunday in Detroit.

Michael Pittman Jr. IND @ LV (19th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,000)

Indianapolis Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

Pittman has seen fourteen total targets his last two games. Yet has only caught seven of those. The competition between him and TY as the teams WR1 is one that can benefit us all!

Keke Coutee HOU @ CHI (5th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,000)

Houston Texan WR Keke Coutee

One of the fun times where we all called our Keke shot and we were all right! Coutee saw a seasonal high in receptions and a career high receiving yards in week 13. Why would that change now?

Denzel Mims NYJ @ SEA (32nd)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,100)

New York Jets rookie WR Denzel Mims

Dammit! Any time now Denzel! He hasn’t been off the charts good but he’s played a nice role for the tanking Jets. As his price stays around the same I’m going to keep taking shot after shot with him in my lines!

Jalen Reagor PHI vs. NO (22nd)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,400)

Philadelphia Eagles rookie WR Jalen Reagor

Wow! That punt return right? Is Jalen just another sub-par rookie on an awful team? Who knows! I now love the idea of Jalen Hurts starting at QB in week 14! Let’s stack both Jalen’s and call it Jalen 2 Jalen? What about 2XJalen? The Jalen Connection? Whatever you call it you heard it here first!

Russell Gage ATL @ LAC (6th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,500)

Atlanta Falcons WR Russel Gage

Gage caught a TD in week 13! Which is impressive given his workload this season. He remains the Falcons WR3 but I can work with that. In some odd way I think it’s better if Julio is in the lineup for Gage.

Sterling Shepard NYG vs. ARZ (20th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$5,200)

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard

Shepard is a dang good complimentary WR. Colt McCoy is a sub-par QB. Let’s hope Daniel Jones is under center in week 14. It’s an exploitable match-up.

Laviksa Shenault Jr. JAX vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,100)

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr.

Was nice to see Laviska find the end zone again last Sunday. This kid is quick and offers a unique set of skills. The Jags should and will find ways to get in more involved at home on Sunday.

Tim Patrick DEN @ CAR (13th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,200)

Denver Broncos WR Time Patrick

Get it while you can with Tim! Patrick is in a rhythm right now with Denver QB Drew Lock. The Broncos have a fantastic group of young WR’s and things are going to change for Tim and Drew very soon. This is DFS though! Who cares about the long term! Keep spending very little for Tim!

Demarcus Robinson KC @ MIA (16th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,800)

Kansas City Chiefs WR Demarcus Robinson

It’s hard to calculate who’s going to get the larger piece of pie in this offense. Well aside from Kelce and Tyreek that is. So in turn I like to play the calculated risk guessing game. It’s a fun game.

Collin Johnson JAX vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,600)

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Collin Johnson

Mike Glennon has eyes for Collin! You should too!

Greg Ward PHI vs. NO (22nd)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,100)

Philadelphia Eagles WR Greg Ward

Jalen Hurts has eyes for Greg! You should too! See what I did there?

P.S. its true though!

Quintez Cephus DET vs. GB (7th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,200)

Detroit Lions rookie WR Quintez Cephus

The Detroit Lions cut Marvin Hall. After some time they told us their reasoning! Whatever front office is left told us they would like to get some of the younger kids involved. Open it up if you will. Would you look at that! Cephus caught his first career TD in week 13! The Lions should be playing catch up all day in week 14. Meaning, Quintez should be heavily involved!

Jalen Guyton LAC vs. ATL (30th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,200)

Los Angeles Chargers rookie WR Jalen Guyton

Did you know Guyton played more offensive snaps (64) in week 13 then Keenan Allen (62) and Mike Williams (59)? Not saying much seeing how the Chargers were skunked. I’ve loved this kid since day one! If you’re going to throw darts this week you’d be wise to start with him!

TIGHT END

Travis Kelce KC @ MIA (6th)(FD-$8,200)(DK-$7,400)

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 14!

Dalton Schultz DAL @ CIN (29th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,500)

Dallas Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Andy was harassed by the Washington football all day in week 13. This week, in Cincinnati, Dalton should have time! Dalton has caught four passes in four straight games too. As a habitual tight end punter let’s start here!

Anthony Firkser TEN @ JAX (27th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,600)

Tennessee Titans TE Anthony Firkser

No idea what’s going on with Jonnu knee injury. What I can tell you is I love the price and potential output for Firkser if he’s the starting TE against a weak Jacksonville secondary.

Jordan Akins HOU @ CHI (28th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$2,900)

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins

Akins will continue seeing a majority of offensive snaps at the tight end position. Believe it or not the Bears are awful against opposing tight-ends.

Jacob Hollister SEA vs. NYJ (32nd)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,100)

Seattle Seahawks TE Jacob Hollister

Seattle at home playing the worse team in the NFL. What could go wrong? I’m fairly certain Russ and the Seahawks want to get right. Seattle wins big!

Tyler Eifert JAX vs. TEN (25th)(FD-$4,700)(DK-$3,100)

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Tyler Eifert

Classic case of the Jags trying to keep pace with the Titans.

Cole Kmet CHI vs. HOU (13th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,900)

Chicago Bears rookie TE Cole Kmet

Cole is no stranger to B&B. In the meantime it looks as if he’s become the Bears TE1.

Donald Parham Jr. LAC vs. ATL (31st)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)

Los Angeles Chargers TE Donald Parham Jr.

I just have a hard time thinking the Chargers will struggle on offense again at home vs. the Falcons.

If you’re still reading then thank you. The support that you’ve show for me and Bottom of the Barrel this season has been incredible!

Ben Anderson https://twitter.com/bennieboy26

Over the last few months I’ve learned several things about social media. First and foremost it’s toxic! Second, people really like to look ahead. Third, crazier the comment then higher the likes.

In the spirit of social media toxicity what better way to join the party then with an early 2021 mock draft!

Bottom of the Barrel WK13

Bottom of the Barrel WK13
12/1/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

How many owners in your league have checked out? What about your favorite fantasy football writer? Have they phoned it in? Has the content fallen off?

Now is the time to put the pedal to the metal! No time to let up! If you’re as passionate about fantasy football as I am then hopefully you can understand. If you’re as driven and eager to learn DFS as I am then hopefully you agree!

There’s a thin line here between being a jerk or being smart and excited. All I’ve ever wanted to do is explain my personal process to the best of my ability. It’s just exciting when others around me are doing well. I absolutely love to see others succeed! To see the light bulb go off for something is a fantastic experience!

How many of you are absolutely shocked we’re talking week 13 of the NFL season? My late father always told me as boy to cherish each and every relationship, experience and moment possible. They come and go so fast. Took me 35 years to full understand. Thank you Dad!

QUARTERBACK

As we’re accustomed to now here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 13. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Russell Wilson SEA vs. NYG (4th)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$7,700)

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 13!

Matt Ryan ATL vs. NO (12th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$5,600)

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan

I know what you’re thinking. I know what you’re going to say. The Saints have looked outstanding on the defensive side of the ball in recent weeks. The NFC South race is between two teams now. None of which are the Falcons. There are certain divisions in football where I feel you can throw out records when they play. The NFC South is one of them. More importantly, ATL vs. NO is one of those match-ups. Matt Ryan is no stranger to the Saints. In 24 total games he’s tosses 43 TD’s compared to 18 INT’s.

Ryan Fitzpatrick MIA vs. CIN (19th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$6,000)

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

One thing about Fitz is he can be relied upon in good match-ups! Last week against the Jets Ryan completed 24 of 39 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns. Expect more of the same Sunday. The price paired with the floor is very nice!

Derek Carr LV @ NYJ (29th)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,800)

Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr

What. The. Heck. We all what happened in week 12 with Carr. We just don’t know why? In an outstanding match-up on paper (@ ATL 32nd overall pass defense) he tanked! He really made us look like fools. Turning the ball over four times and getting sacked three times! Any good fantasy player and a solid DFS player knows the score. Never be afraid to go back to the well! That’s what I’m doing here in week 13. Scared money don’t make money! That’s how the saying goes right?

Baker Mayfield CLE @ TEN (28th)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$5,300)

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield

Don’t look now but the Browns are 8-3! Baker hasn’t been filling up box scores but he has been efficient with a low amount of passing attempts. Mayfield only threw the ball 29 times in week 12. I’m fully expecting a larger work load for Baker this Sunday. The Titans are very potent on offense and if CLE wants to keep pace then it goes through Baker! With some assistance from Chubb!

Mitchell Trubisky CHI vs. DET (27th)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,400)

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky

Mitch absolutely torches the Lions! His last four games vs. Detroit he’s thrown THREE touchdowns in each one! If you’re keep score at home that’s twelve total TD passes! It’s unbelievable! That’s the beauty of DFS! We’re able to pick our spots! I’m choosing Mitch in week 13!

Sam Darnold NYJ vs. LV (24th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,000)

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold

Shocking? Yes! Ideal? No! Can we gain some sort of advantage with Sam in our lines? Yes! The price tag on both sites is a sweet spot for me along with stacking several other NYJ skill position players. Stacking a few Jets in the right contests can yield some leverage in other areas of your DFS lines this weekend.

RUNNING BACK

Dalvin Cook MIN vs. JAX (28th)(FD-$10,500)(DK-$9,500)

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook

Oh look! Cook’s price came down $500 on Fanduel!

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 13!

Nyheim Hines IND @ HOU (31st)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,300)

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines

Wouldn’t be Bottom of the Barrel if we weren’t picking on the Texans run defense! Last I read rookie RB Jonathan Taylor is still on the COVID-IR. That would leave a huge hunk of work unclaimed for Hines to grab.

David Montgomery CHI vs. DET (32nd)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$5,500)

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery

Week 12 D-Mont only received eleven carries yet he put up 101 yards. He also caught five of six targets for 40yds and a TD. Kid has it in him! Yet Nagy seems apprehensive about giving him 20+ carries! It’s very strange. This Sunday vs. Detroit it would be wise to cut him loose. Which I firmly believe they do!

Wayne Gallman Jr. NYG @ SEA (18th)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,600)

New York Giants RB Wayne Gallman Jr.

Heyyyy Wayne! We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy! Maybe that’s being a little over dramatic but I’d hate to miss out on a chance to quote Wayne’s World!

Devontae Booker LV @ NYJ (22nd)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,500)

Las Vegas Raiders RB Devontae Booker

In the wake of the Josh Jacobs injury news you’d be wise to consider Booker. Playing at the Jets is sweet enough to make anyone playable. Although there is still a chance Josh Jacobs plays I just don’t see it happening. In any event, keep an eye out. Devontae with a full workload Sunday could be special! See how in week 10 he took sixteen carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Damien Harris NE @ LAC (23rd)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,200)

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris

Harris comes with definite risk. Damien has seen 10+ carries in six straight games but was out shined in week 12 by James White. Harris should see his fair share of carries Sunday vs. the Chargers. Who grabs the limelight though? I’m betting on Harris!

Boston Scott PHI @ GB (30th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$6,000)

Philadelphia Eagles RB Boston Scott

Did you know Boston out-gained Miles Sanders on one less carry Monday night? Looking ahead to the match-up at Green Bay, the Eagles are 9.5 point underdogs. Which, in turn, could mean a heavy passing down workload! Plus, over the past three games Scott’s offensive snap usage has gone up! Full steam ahead for Mr. Scott this week!

Cam Akers LAR @ ARZ (13th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,500)

LA Rams rookie RB Cam Akers

Cam and his price tag this week have me licking my chops! Kid has back-to-back games with a touchdown with his sights set on Arizona!

Jordan Wilkins IND @ HOU (31st)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,200)

Indianapolis Colts RB Jordan Wilkins

We’ve had success here at B&B mentioning combo plays! Wilkins worked with Hines in week 12 and found some room. It’s still dependant on JT status.

Myles Gaskin MIA vs. CIN (17th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$5,900)

Miami Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin

Keep a watchful eye out on Gaskin and his status in week 13. If active on Sunday, which I believe he will be, Myles is a full go for me. Gaskin was humming along before his stint on IR and in the meantime his price has fallen. Take advantage while you can!

Frank Gore NYJ vs. LV (29th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,400)

Father Time Frank Gore

The year is 2035. Frank Gore is still getting meaningful carries in the NFL.

Jamaal Williams GB vs. PHI (8th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$6,100)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamal Williams

Hate to break it to you but I cannot see the future. I do not have a crystal ball. That leads me to Jamaal and what I believe will be a very favorable game script Sunday. Aaron Jones is the RB1 in Green Bay but Williams gets his fair share of touches. Who here thinks the Pack will be up big in the second half? If answered yes then you’d have to believe J-Will sees a ton of work here!

Kerryon Johnson DET @ CHI (10th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,400)

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson

Nothing more then a speculative add seeing how there has been a change at head coach. As we get later in the week let’s hope there is a game plan that includes KJ! Who is still only 23 years old!

WIDE RECEIVER

Davante Adams GB vs. PHI (13th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$9,000)

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 13!

Corey Davis TEN vs. CLE (23rd)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,100)

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis

Corey has been a pleasant surprise this season! He’s seen six targets in four of five games. I’m fully expecting a nice healthy complimentary role vs. Cleveland on Sunday.

Breshad Perriman NYJ vs. LV (18th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$3,900)

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman

Fortune favors the bold as they say. DFS players are a different breed in term of taking risk yet minimizing it at the same time. After an injury riddled start to the season Perriman has accumulated 234 yards and three touchdowns his last three games. Stack him with Sam Darnold and ride the hot streak!

Darius Slayton NYG @ SEA (32nd)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,600)

New York Giants WR Darious Slayton

Maybe we were a week early on Slayton? That’s just fine! I’d rather be early then late! NOTE looks as if Colt McCoy will be the starting QB. Temper your expectations for all Giants WR’s.

Michael Pittman Jr. IND @ HOU (22nd)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,900)

Indianapolis Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

The rookie is now without a doubt the Colts WR1. Last Sunday he was the most targeted WR but didn’t do much. Let’s just chalk that up to growing pains! His last two games he’s seen 11 targets, 10 receptions for 167 yards and 1 touchdown. A match-up in Houston Sunday should be all he needs to get back on track!

Cordarrelle Patterson CHI vs. DET (24th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$3,600)

Chicago Bears WR Cordarrelle Patterson

As you know Mitch plays like an All-Pro vs. the Lions. His three touchdown passes have to go somewhere! Patterson will score Sunday at home!

Denzel Mims NYJ vs. LV (18th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,100)

New York Jets rookie WR Denzel Mims

If you’re going to stack Jets you’d be wise to include the rookie WR! Mims tied fellow WR Perriman in targets and receptions Sunday. Mims has also topped 60+ reception yards his last three games. The breakout is coming! So is his first NFL TD! As soon as week 13!

Collin Johnson JAX @ MIN (29th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,300)

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Collin Johnson

With DJ Chark and Chris Conley inactive Sunday Collin took full advantage! So much so that he deserves our attention in week 13! Not too sure what the status is of the other Jag WR’s heading into Minnesota but you’d be wise to give Johnson as second look this weekend.

Darnell Mooney CHI vs. DET (24th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,400)

Chicago Bears rookie WR Darnell Mooney

I love the idea of rookie WR Darnell Mooney going nuts on Sunday at home. As odd as it may sound there is a clear pecking order in Chicago. Allen Robinson II leading the charge for WR. Although Mooney saw nine targets in week 12 I firmly believe he gets loose Sunday for a deep TD!

Tre’Quan Smith NO @ ATL (30th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,000)

New Orleans Saints WR Tre’Quan Smith

I thought I had it all figured out last weekend from the Raiders point of view. Then true to form they burned me and the Falcons went nuts. I don’t see Atlanta doing that again in week 13. Total domination ahead for the Saints. For the low price of $4,800 and $3,000 you too can own a piece of the domination!

Olabisi Johnson MIN vs. JAX (28th)(FD-$4,700)(DK-$3,700)

Minnesota Vikings WR Osabisi Johnson

Since Adam Thielen is currently on the COVID-IR Olabisi is now the WR2 in Minnesota. Which might now mean a whole lot but for DFS purposes it has it’s merits! Kirk Cousins couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if you asked me but somehow Olabisi saw seven target and caught all seven! Look for more of the same Sunday vs. a dreadful Jaguars DST!

TIGHT END

Darren Waller LV @ NYJ (31st)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$6,100)

Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 13!

Kyle Rudolph MIN vs. JAX (24th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,400)

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph

If you remember correctly Kyle was mentioned here last week. What did he do to earn back-to-back mentions in B&B? Eight targets, seven receptions and 68 yards! Rudolph was also second on the team in targets last weekend. I’m looking at the same type of production in week 13 with the addition of a touchdown!

Mo Alie-Cox IND @ HOU (13th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$2,700)

Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Ali-Cox

Not much to say about Mo this week. He did lead the other tight ends in offensive snaps.

Harrison Bryant CLE @ TEN (29th)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

Cleveland Browns rookie TE Harrison Bryant

The Titans are an extremely friendly match-up for Harrison. They’ve given up 7 total TD’s to opposing TE’s.

Ryan Izzo NE @ LAC (22nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

New England Patriots TE Ryan Izzo

Izzo has been mention in B&B several times and has yet do anything. At this point adding him here is just part of the process. However, he was on the field for 51 of the Pats total 53 offensive snaps.

Cole Kmet CHI vs. DET (19th)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

Chicago Bears rookie TE Cole Kmet

Something about Mitch Trubisky only throwing TD’s against the Lions. Lazy writing I know but does make a little sense.

Adam Trautman NO @ ATL (32nd)(FD-$4,300)(DK-$2,500)

New Orleans Saints rookie TE Adam Trautman

If you’re still reading then thank you. The support that you’ve show for me and Bottom of the Barrel this season has been incredible!

If you’re reading this it’s safe to say you love football. It’s also safe to say you enjoy Thanksgiving.

John Madden and his famous turducken!

It’s a small slate, no time to be frugal. Bottom of the Barrel’s entire purpose is to mention the low owned low priced guys. Not for Thursday! All I’ve ever tried to do is tell you my process. Put into words where my mind is.

Seeing how it’s a holiday and only a three game slate, lets do this a little bit different! No player is off the table! Settle in, gather round the table and enjoy your family and friends Thursday. Let’s put all the stress aside and be kind to one another. Help others. Support others. Tell those most important to you how you truly feel.

I want thank all of you. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for reading Bottom of the Barrel. Thank you for all the interactions. Without all of you B&B would be nothing. Without all of you I’d be lost. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

QUARTERBACK

Deshaun Watson HOU @ DET (18th)(FD-$8,700)(DK-$7,400)

Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson

Paying up for the most expensive QB Thursday is a good move! Deshaun has five games over 300 passing yards and heads to Detroit on Thanksgiving. The Lions pass rush and pressure rate is non-existent. Watson will undoubtedly have a big game. Rush yards and all! Fill up and don’t be afraid to ask for seconds!

Lamar Jackson BAL @ PIT (1st)(FD-$8,000)(DK-$6,800)

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

Has the NFL figured Lamar out? Looking ahead to Thursday Jackson is an easy fade for me. Pittsburgh is kryptonite to Lamar Jackson. In four career games he’s thrown five interceptions and fumbled the ball five times! His poor 57% completion rate is just another reason to fade Lamar. He is the jell-o mold with cat food this thanksgiving.

Ben Roethlisberger PIT vs. BAL (11th)(FD-$7,700)(DK-$6,600)

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger

This is a tougher task for Ben and the Steelers. One I’m not paying any attention too. Pittsburgh’s passing attack is down right dangerous and commands our attention. Big Ben has the fastest release after the snap. Meaning, I’m banking on 25+ completions Thursday for big time numbers.

Matthew Stafford DET vs. HOU (19th)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,800)

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford

The Detroit Lions playing on Thanksgiving is all I’ve ever known as a fan. Metro-Detroiters plan their day around this game every year. In turn, it’s basically the Super Bowl for us Detroit Lions fans. Matt has been up and down all year so it’d be negligent for me to recommend him. Just know the entire Lions team will play their hearts out Thursday.

Andy Dalton DAL vs. WSH (13th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,600)

Dallas Cowboys QB Andy Dalton

If you’re looking to get cute on Thursday or be contrarian then Andy is your QB. Dallas is also an institution on Thanksgiving. Alone or together with family on Thursday the Cowboys will be on. Why not build a line with him?

Alex Smith WSH @ DAL (22nd)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,400)

Washington Football Team QB Alex Smith

After back-to-back 300 passing yard weeks Alex and the Football Team didn’t have throw much to beat Cincinnati. This Washington v Dallas rivalry is already deep with hatred and distain. The fun of it all is a prime time game on Thursday. Alex will dink and dunk his way to 250+ passing yards!

RUNNING BACK

Ezekiel Elliot DAL vs. WSH (10th)(FD-$8,500)(DK-$6,800)

Dallas Cowboys RB Zeke Elliot

Over/under Zeke scores and jumps into the Salvation Army red kettle? Everything I’ve read has told us to temper our expectations with Zeke. I understand that but not on Thanksgiving! Let’s think big and enjoy ourselves! 100+ yards and two touchdowns coming right up!

James Conner PIT vs. Bal (12th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$6,200)

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Connor

Is it just me or do you throw out records on Thanksgiving? Anything can happen? Stud RB’s do studly things. In week 11 James averaged 6.2 yards per touch. While in week 8 Baltimore held Conner to only 3.1 yards per touch. Something has to give here! I’m excited to see and he will be in most of my lineups!

Duke Johnson HOU @ DET (32nd)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,700)

Houston Texan RB Duke Johnson

Oh boy. How many times have you read about the potential of Duke? Yet he’s only averaged 3.3 yards per touch his last two games. Only reason Duke is on the radar Thursday is the opposing defense. The Detroit Lions are DEAD last vs. the run. Use that information according.

J.D. Mckissic WSH @ DAL (19th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,100)

Washington Football Team RB JD McKissic

I just don’t see a case where JD won’t be in 100% of my lines on Thursday. The check down receptions from Alex Smith have been as good as gold for JD. Not to mention the fact Dallas is allowing the 2nd most rush yards a game.

Gus Edwards BAL @ PIT (2nd)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,000)

Baltimore Ravens RB Gus Edwards

You’re smart. You keep your ear to the streets! JK is on the COVID-IR. Mark Ingram is on the COVID-IR. Gus will be the lead back on Thursday. It’s just a price plus workload equation here!

Tony Pollard DAL vs. WSH (10th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,000)

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard

Tony has been more involved in recent weeks. I love the potential with Tony on Thursday. I love the potential of a one-two punch between him and Zeke. Washington has a dang good defensive line and they are outstanding vs. the run. So the risk here is very high. Yet the reward could be glorious! Lets say Dallas hammers Washington with Zeke over and over. Both team changes personal to give guys a breathers. Tony comes in and reaps the benefit’s a few times on Thursday. It’s a long shot but it makes sense right?

Benny Snell Jr. PIT vs. BAL (12th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$4,000)

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Benny Snell Jr.

What are the chances Benny gets a goal line carry or two again? Very low.

Kerryon Johnson DET vs. HOU (31st)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$4,300)

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson

In the absence of Swift in week 11 Kerryon saw the lions share of the work. Which isn’t saying much seeing how they were shut out. Swift is back at practice relegating KJ back to the bench. Keep your eyes peeled here! If Swift for some odd reason is inactive then fire up KJ. No more no less!

Justice Hill BAL @ PIT (2nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$4,000)

Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill

How many of you think Gus can and/or will get 100% of the RB touches? Nice little pivot from Edwards. Just a flier. Just some roster relief with a touch of upside.

WIDE RECEIVER

Terry McLaurin WSH @ DAL (31st)(FD-$7,900)(DK-$7,000)

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin

Before I get into Terry just be aware of his status Thursday. Nothing crazy, just a sore ankle. Now let me tell you this, Terry is by far and away my favorite WR play on Thanksgiving. I love you! All of you but don’t be a fool. Don’t be cute and fade and Terry. The price is fantastic for the potential output! Five receptions for 80 yards seems to be his floor. Awesome!

Diontae Johnson PIT vs. BAL (4th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$6,200)

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson

I love you! All of you but don’t be a fool. Don’t be cute and fade Diontae. Is it plagiarism if you copy your own writing? DJ has been an absolute target monster in recent weeks! Commanding 30% of the target share with eight more then anyone else last week!

Chase Claypool PIT vs. BAL (4th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$6,100)

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie WR Chase Claypool

WOW! Just wow! The rookie receiver has scored ten times in his first ten games. He’s fast becoming a must-start at the wide-out position. For best results pair with Big Ben and watch the points add up! Here’s a secret, stack Ben with BOTH Dionate AND Claypool Thursday.

Brandin Cooks HOU @ DET (21st)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,300)

Houston Texans WR Brandin Cooks

Cooks have been more of the WR we expected him to be after HOU canned their head coach. There’s just no way Cooks doesn’t get loose for 25+ yard TD in Detroit Thursday. Come to find out the Lions are giving up a whopping 39 fantasy points to opposing WR’s this season. What???

Marvin Jones Jr. DET vs. HOU (23rd)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,500)

Detroit Lions WR Marvin Jones Jr.

If Kenny G is inactive yet again Marvin will the WR1 again. The Texans are better then you think they are vs. WR’s but the volume will be there. Jones Jr. makes for a nice complimentary piece in out lines Thursday.

Michael Gallup DAL vs. WSH (2nd)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$3,500)

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup

Nothing more then a flier used to fill out your lines on Thanksgiving. He’s buried behind Zeke, Cooper, Lamb and even Pollard in the Cowboys pecking order. To be honest, at his price he’s not appetizing at all.

Quintez Cephus DET vs. HOU (23rd)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,100)

Detroit Lions rookie WR Quintez Cephus

Wouldn’t it be poetic if the rookie WR Quintez Cephus scored the first touchdown of his career on Thanksgiving at home? Makes you think…

Devin Duvernay BAL vs. PIT (16th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,000)

Baltimore Ravens rookie WR Devin Duvernay

Putting Devin in your DFS lines on Thanksgiving isn’t a good idea. Not to repeat myself but Lamar is awful vs. Pittsburgh. I will say though, some of my worst ideas have paid off in the end. The choice is yours!

Steven Sims Jr. WSH @ DAL (31st)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$3,200)

Washington WR Steven Sims Jr.

Alex Smith seems to have a thing for Sims Jr. Much like Devin above the only draw here is the price. Load up elsewhere and plug Sims Jr. in to complete your line in a pinch.

TIGHT END

Mark Andrews BAL @ PIT (1st)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,200)

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews

Mark. Mark. Mark. What do we do with Mark? Every time we’re out he pulls us back in! Seriously, I’d look elsewhere at TE Thursday. Cheaper prices, better match-ups and a tad more upside.

Eric Ebron PIT vs. BAL (14th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,100)

Pittsburgh TE Eric Ebron

Almost a thousand dollars less, Ebron is a lock for DFS formats Thursday. Eric has scored a TD in three of the last four games. I’m betting the farm he finds the end zone Thursday!

Dalton Schultz DAL vs. WSH (19th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,800)

Dallas Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Dalton has become steady Eddy at TE. He’s caught four or more passes in seven of the Cowboys ten games. Sprinkle in a TD here and there and that Schultz for you! To sweeten the pot Washington is giving up the 12th most points to opposing TE’s.

Jordan Akins HOU @ DET (17th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$2,900)

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins

Cobb and Kenny Stills went down in week 11. With a short turn around that leaves Jordan on a short list of pass catchers Thursday. Watson, Cooks and Akins is a very solid stack on Thanksgiving.

Logan Thomas WSH @ DAL (20th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,500)

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas

Logan is good for five to six targets a game. Alex Smith keeps thing simple and it has helped a guy like Thomas. Short to intermediate routes get the job done for fantasy points!

Pharaoh Brown HOU @ DET (17th)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,500)

Houston Texans TE Pharaoh Brown

This one is wild. Why bother? If he scores just know this blurb will be used for a photo.

Jesse James DET vs. HOU (12th)(FD-$4,300)(DK-$2,500)

Detroit Lions TE Jesse James

Thursday in Detroit is unbelievably exciting! Plus they pull out all the stops. That helps JJ’s cause, I guess.

Thanksgiving Day football here in Detroit is our Super Bowl

It snowed all day here in Detroit. The fall is turning to winter fast. Most fantasy teams are turning to pumpkins fast as well.

One of, if not, the best weeks of the year is upon us! A short work week and anticipation for an all day football marathon! This years Thanksgiving is going to be different then most of us have ever experienced.

Small family gatherings, if any. Swinging by other family and friends houses may not be a good idea. Being home at peace isn’t half bad. Just depends what type of person you are.

We have each other. We have football. Lets be thankful for those.

QUARTERBACK

Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 12. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Kyler Murray ARZ @ NE (10th)(FD-$9,100)(DK-$8,200)

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 12!

Taysom Hill NO @ DEN (17th)(FD-$7,300)(DK-$6,200)

New Orleans Saints QB Taysom Hill

Taysom Hill has lost his tight-end eligibility. Which we saw coming. I’ve made peace with it. How many of you are dealing with a stubborn owner who refuses to move Hill out of their TE spot?

Daniel Jones NYG @ CIN (23rd)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,500)

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones

Fresh off their bye week I expect the Giants and Danny to fill the stat sheet against a demoralized Cincinnati Bengals team. Losing your franchise QB in that manner has a negative effect on morale.

Derek Carr LV @ ATL (32nd)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$5,700)

Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr

Derek Carr looked good on Sunday didn’t he? 275 yards and 3 TD’s in a divisional game against the reigning Super Bowl Champions is no small feat. Now Vegas is able to turn their attention to a hapless Atlanta defense.

Jared Goff LAR vs. SF (15th)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$6,000)

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff

Speaking of good QB play, Goff flat out got it done on Monday night. I’ve never understood the hatred and disgust for Jared. The Rams have a great supporting cast around him with an outstanding head coach. The Rams excel in ball control thanks to a bevy of stud WR’s and a mixture of young RB’s. In seven career games vs. the 49ers, Goff has tosses 14 TD’s compared to 4 INT’s.

Baker Mayfield CLE @ JAX (30th)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,300)

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield

I’ve never been excited to bet on Cleveland on Baker Mayfield. Sometimes our research is more about the match-up rather then the player itself. Fun fact, Baker has never played a game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars! Willing to bet you just Googled that to check my work!

Phil Rivers IND vs. TEN (26th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$6,100)

Indianapolis Colts QB Phillip Rivers

In all honesty the Colts sitting at 7-3 is exciting! The Titans are middle of the road on defense. In week 11 they gave up 430 total yards and for the fifth time this season, thirty or more points. In his career Phil has thrown 18 TD’s vs. the Titans. For best results pair with rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

RUNNING BACK

I know Bottom of the Barrel is about those cheaply priced players but the top portion of the RB list is filled with players in the $6,000 range. Some of the match-ups are too good and the price of Dalvin Cook skews the pricing of the RB category. Let’s explore!

Dalvin Cook MIN vs. CAR (28th)(FD-$11,000)(DK-$9,500)

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 12!

Kareem Hunt CLE @ JAX (27th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,600)

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt

No surprise but I’m fully expecting Hunt to receive 12+ targets/touches on Sunday. Nick Chubb or Kareem Hunt? This week in Jacksonville both backs will have ample opportunity to shine. The Jaguars DST are giving up the 6th most points to opposing RB’s. A post-thanksgiving feast will ensue.

Austin Ekeler LAC @ BUF (18th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$6,100)

Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler

If Austin is cleared and plays in week 12 I want 100% ownership. After an extended injury absence this will undoubtedly be the cheapest we see him rest of the season. With rookie QB Justin Herbert at the helm Ekeler should absolutely shine!

Jonathan Taylor IND vs. TEN (26th)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,900)

Indianapolis Colts rookie RB Jonathan Taylor

It finally happened right? The breakout we were all promised months back? I’m going to say yes and believe this is a sign of things to come! 22 total carries and four receptions while commanding 68.8% of the RB share in week 11 is a great sign! Look for JT to come on strong these next few weeks! The breakout continues Sunday!

Giovani Bernard CIN vs. NYG (24th)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,700)

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard

Mentioning Gio is a ho-hum kind of thing. While Mixon is on IR there’s a certain workload to be expected here for Bernard. Moving forward it’s not going to get any easier for CIN and specifically GIO but the volume is there. So is the price.

Damien Harris NE vs. ARZ (14th)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,800)

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris

Rex was lost to an injury. Sony Michel has been activated from IR. Just a simple process of addition and subtraction. I have no worries about Harris and his workload moving ahead. He’s had 10+ carries in five straight games. He’s also averaged 5.4 YPC in those last five games. Personally, he makes for a set it and forget it RB2/flex play in week 12.

Salvon Ahmed MIA @ NYJ (25th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,100)

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed

Long as Gaskin is out Salvon is the lead back. Not saying much I know but a date with the Jets says all you need to know!

Leonard Fournette TB vs. KC (20th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,900)

Tampa Bay RB Leonard Fournette

This has all the makings of a heavyweight match-up in week 12. Bring your best players and let do battle. Leo is a RB built for this kind of game. 31-28 type final score when all is said and done. Looks to be one of the more exciting games of the week.

Wayne Gallman Jr. NYG @ CIN (17th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,000)

New York Giants RB Wayne Gallman Jr.

Fresh off their bye week look for a steady dose of Wayne! The Bengals get smoked in the air then opening the door for the run. I’m thinking 14 or so carries along with two or three receptions and a TD this week for Gallman Jr.

Nyheim Hines IND vs. TEN (26th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,800)

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines

We’ve had some success recently mentioning RB’s from the same team. Washington in week 10. Kind of New England in week 11. Now it’s the Colt’s turn in week 12! Both backs can produce vs. a Titans team not really equipped to deal with all the weapons IND has in their possession.

Cam Akers LAR vs. SF (8th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,200)

LA Rams rookie RB Cam Akers

Full disclosure, I do my B&B notes Sunday night and finalize it all on Monday morning. I wrote in Cam Akers with the hope he’d do well Monday night or at least find the end zone. The rookie did both! Cam only carried the ball five times. The Rams in total only rushed 20 times. He did catch a TD pass! Is this the start of a beautifully crafted rookie RB relationship? I sure hope so and at his price on both site we’re able to enjoy it as well!

James White NE vs. ARZ (14th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,500)

New England Patriots RB James White

Unfortunately Rex Burkhead has been lost for the season. In turn White set a season high in targets and scrimmage yards. It’s a awful occurrence but one most are familiar with. James should assume a heavy passing down workload Sunday vs. the Cardinals.

Frank Gore NYJ vs. MIA (21st)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,300)

Father Time Frank Gore

Rookie RB La’Mical Perine suffered a high ankle sprain early on in week 11. Stop me if you’ve heard this one, guy walks into a football game carrying the ball 15 times for 61 yards and a TD. MIA is 28th overall against the run and the likelihood Gore see’s 15+ touches again is something we can’t ignore. Frank will score a TD in week 12. I don’t make the rules.

Brian Hill ATL vs. LV (29th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,000)

Atlanta Falcons RB Brian Hill

Adding Brian Hill to your DFS roster in week 12 is way off the beaten path. There’s not much to discuss here. The O/U here is a whopping 55.5 points. Meaning an absolute void of defense. I expect Matt Ryan to throw the ball around 40 times. Several to Brian Hill.

WIDE RECEIVER

Tyreek Hill KC @ TB (11th)(FD-$8,600)(DK-$6,200)

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 12!

Breshad Perriman NYJ vs. MIA (17th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,200)

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman

Ah! There you are Breshad! Three TD’s in your last two games is more then enough to get added to B&B! Thanks for the call!

Darius Slayton NYG @ CIN (24th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,900)

New York Giants WR Darious Slayton

At this point hopefully you’ve noticed my propensity to pick on Cincinnati in week 12! Darius always has the opportunity to make a big play! Also known as boom or bust. Slayton does have eight receptions for twenty or more yards this season. Look for him to add another one on Sunday!

Curtis Samuel CAR @ MIN (29th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,100)

Carolina Panther WR Curtis Samuel

Something something gadget guy. Something something price not adjusting. Minnesota is giving up, on average, 383.3 yards per game. We’ve now seen that it doesn’t matter who the Carolina QB is, Curtis will be involved.

Jerry Jeudy DEN vs. NO (19th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,100)

Denver Broncos rookie WR Jerry Jeudy

If the major DFS sites are going to ignore the rookies pricing then I’m going to mention him every single time! A home game vs. the superior New Orleans Saints just screams playing catch-up.

Jarvis Landry CLE @ JAX (25th)($5,700)(DK-$5,200)

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry

Landry should command a generous target share in week 12. I know what you’re thinking, yes I agree. This one will undoubtedly be a big Chubb/Hunt week. At his price I like the idea of 7+ targets for Landry vs. an inferior secondary.

Michael Pittman Jr. IND vs. TEN (27th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,000)

Indianapolis Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

Michael. Michael. Michael. Oh how we love thee. Let me count the ways. Pittman Jr. is getting better and better each week and will absolutely explode Sunday at home. I don’t say it often but you’ve been warned!

Denzel Mims NYJ vs. MIA(17th)(FD-$5,600)DK-$3,500)

New York Jets rookie WR Denzel Mims

Mims is starting to impress. Mims is starting to show us why he was a second round draft selection. He seems to be the apple of Flacco’s eye leading the Jets in targets and reception yards in week 12. The best is yet to come with Mims. Week 12 will be the start of that. The rookie will catch his first NFL touchdown Sunday!

Hunter Renfrow LV @ ATL (30th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,000)

Las Vegas Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow

We have to pick our spots with certain players. I’m doing that now with Hunter in week 12. A glorious match-up awaits him in Atlanta.

Nelson Agholor LV @ ATL (30th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,900)

Las Vegas Raiders WR Nelson Agholor

What the heck is going on here? Nelson led all other Vegas WR’s in snaps and targets! As stated above Derek Carr is in one heck of groove. I can’t stress enough how outstanding this match-up is Sunday in Atlanta.

Jakeem Grant MIA @ NYJ (28th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,700)

Miami Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant

Total flier. Jakeem is the true essence of B&B. Miami lost last week ending their three game winning streak as I’m sure you know. What better way to get right then playing the Jets? All it takes is one here to make Grant’s day!

TIGHT END

Travis Kelce KC @ TB (15th)(FD-$8,000)(DK-$7,000)

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 12!

Anthony Firkser TEN @ IND (10th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$2,900)

Tennessee Titans TE Anthony Firkser

So here’s my rationale. TEN @ IND is one of the more exciting games in week 12. Strictly my opinion but it does have it’s merits! The point implied total for this game is 50+ points. So we’re looking at a 28-24 type final. Tony F has slowly chugged along and been effective behind Jonnu Smith.

Mo Ali-Cox IND vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$2,700)

Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Ali-Cox

Read the excerpt above and just swap out Anthony for Mo Ali. Same ideal.

Kyle Rudolph MIN vs. CAR (18th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,800)

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph

How many of you get on food kicks? Like cereal in the AM everyday for a month? Or pizza for dinner 3-4 days a week for a month? I’m like that right now with Kyle Rudolph.

Tyler Kroft BUF vs. LAC (23rd)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,900)

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft

Here’s a situation where I absolutely love Josh Allen for 3+ passing TD’s in week 12. They have to go somewhere. Someone has to catch them!

Tyler Eifert JAX vs. CLE (29th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,600)

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Tyler Eifert

Who here expects the Jaguars to behind from the start? That’s a wise game script for you to have. Rookie QB Jake Luton didn’t have the best showing in week 11. That being said Tyler did have five targets! Lets hope JAX and Luton get a few things ironed out in practice this week.

Nick Vannett DEN vs. NO (30th)(FD-$4,200)(DK-$2,500)

Denver Broncos TE Nick Vannett

Nick and the Broncos are just a product of an awfully beautiful game script vs. a better New Orleans Saints team. Realistically the Saints could hang 30+ points on the Broncos. Thus making Denver trying to keep up. How do you keep up? Throwing the ball! The Saints aren’t the best when guarding TE’s. Fant will get all the love here but let’s get weird and roster Nicky V!

Maxx Williams ARZ @ NE (3rd)(FD-$4,200)(DK-$2,500)

Arizona Cardinals TE Maxx Williams

Who? Did you know Maxx are on the field for 67% of the offensive snaps in week 11? Something good is bound to happen being on the field that much in this offense. Right?

Nick Keizer KC @ TB (15th)(FD-$4,100)(DK-$2,500)

Kansas City TE Nick Keizer

This is just flat out silly.

Each week the season get more odd. Each week there’s a different set of circumstances. To make it more strange it looks as if we’ve skipped right to Christmas. Right past Thanksgiving and right to Santa Clause!

I’ve often wondered what it would be like drafting a fantasy team with good ole Saint Nick himself. I’d imagine Rudolph would want in on the action too. If we need to fill roster spots guess the other reindeer could play.

My first though would be draft day snacks. Any of us who’ve been involved in live drafts knows the food is as important as the player research itself. Cookies, milk and carrots for Rudolph are easy enough.

As we look ahead to week 11 one thing is clear. I may have lost my mind. Which would make my Bottom of the Barrel selections interesting. We need to slow down and look forward to Thanksgiving. It’s going to be different this year but we’ve adapted this year so far.

Let’s be thankful for our families, friends and football.

QUARTERBACK

Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 11. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Aaron Rodgers GB @ IND (1)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$7,000)

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 11!

Teddy Bridgewater CAR vs. DET (22nd)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$6,400)

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

Keep an eye out for Teddy’s status due to a knee injury. The Detroit Lions are allowing 28.33 points a game. Which is 29th overall. Plenty of points and yardage to be had here.

Kirk Cousins MIN vs. DAL (17th)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$6,200)

Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins

Here he is again. Kirk and the Vikes take on the hapless Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. A Dallas defense that has given up the second most passes TD’s this season. The offense runs through Dalvin Cook but the fantasy points will be there for Cousins.

Jameis Winston NO vs. ATL (32nd)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,900)

New Orleans Saints new starting QB Jameis Winston

Winston is now the king of the Saints castle. Although the Falcons have been trending upwards on defense, the Saints are just too powerful. Winston did have corrective eye surgery over the summer so expect a nice return on investment! Thought you should know.

Tua Tagovailoa MIA @ DEN (20th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,800)

Miami Dolphins rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa

Tua and the Miami Dolphins are 6-3! The rookie QB has been playing solid and mistake free football. His TD:INT ratio is now at 5:0. Yet his price on both sites has yet to be adjusted! As the excitement around him builds, Tua should be part of your lineup builds!

Alex Smith WSH vs. CIN (27th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,300)

Washington Football Team QB Alex Smith

Alex will no doubt be the 2020 Comeback Player of the year. What a story! In regards to week 11, Alex has a fantastic match-up to exploit through the air. In just two weeks Smith has racked up 715 passing yards! WSH vs. CIN isn’t high on many fans to-do list but it’s going to be a fun and competitive game. Full speed ahead for him this week!

Garrett Gilbert DAL @ MIN (29th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,200)

Dallas Cowboys QB Garrett Gilbert

Gilbert wasn’t awful in week 10! Glowing report I know but there should be a case for him making another start in week 11. It’s still a fluid situation given the fact Andy Dalton may be healthy and ready to play. I’d be comfortable starting Andy here too. Seeing how he’s (FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,300) against a Vikings team ranked 28th against the pass. Over/under for this one is currently at 48 points. Plenty of points to go around in this one. I’m hopeful it starts at the DAL QB position.

BONUS QB

P.J. Walker CAR vs. DET (22nd)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$4,800)

Carolina Panthers back-up QB PJ Walker

Would be nice cheap play in the event Teddy B can’t go in week 11 at home against the Lions! I like the idea of ANY QB playing against the Lions DST.

RUNNING BACK

Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at RB in week 11. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Dalvin Cook MIN vs. DAL (16th)(FD-$10,500)(DK-$9,000)

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 11!

Rex Burkhead NE @ HOU (31st)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,600)

New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead

We’ve entered the Rex Burkhead portion of the season. Week-to-week the New England backfield is a headache. We have to take advantage when we can! That time is now! Rex isn’t getting the volume I’d like but for DFS purposes the price is good!

Kalen Ballage LAC vs. NYJ (26th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,600)

Los Angeles Chargers RB Kalen Ballage

Welcome to the Kalen Ballage portion of the season. Wait, think I used that line already. Kalen has now been the Chargers lead RB in back-to-back weeks. I firmly believe that will continue until Austin Ekeler returns. Let’s use Ballage while we can! What better time then week 11 in a revenge game vs. the Jets!

Damien Harris NE @ HOU (31st)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,700)

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris

D-Harris set a career high in carries last Sunday (22). I see no reason why the Pats get away from giving him all the work he can handle. In week 11 it doesn’t get any better! The Texans DST has been gashed all year on the ground.

Jonathan Taylor IND vs. GB (30th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,800)

Indianapolis Colts rookie RB Jonathan Taylor

Here we go again! It’s going to happen this week! Right? I’ll take my chances at the price and the match-up. Fingers crossed!

J.D. McKissic WSH vs. CIN (14th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,200)

Washington Football Team RB JD McKissic

15 targets! How insane is that? Looking ahead to week 11 it may only get better! Alex Smith loves to check down and JD has benefited big time. His price has only gone up $300 on both sites.

La’Mical Perine NYJ @ LAC (22nd)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,400)

New York Jets rookie RB La’Mical Perine

Not much to say here. The Jets are going nowhere fast. So why would we roster a NYJ RB? Well it’s looking like Perine is about to get a ton of work. As much as he can handle. Looks like a nice audition for a lowly price.

Jamaal Williams GB @ IND (3rd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$5,700)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamal Williams

J-Will received half the work he normally gets in week 10 but I’m chalking it up to his short stay on the COVID IR. Aaron Jones is the clear RB1 in this offense but as you’ve seen Jamaal get’s his targets and touches too.

Jordan Wilkins IND vs. GB (30th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,000)

Indianapolis Colts RB Jordan Wilkins

I will 100% open and honest with you here. Week to week in this backfield we never know what we’re going to get. This week I have a feeling about Jordan. It’s like the shell game with these IND RB’s. The match-up is sweet and the price is fantastic.

WIDE RECEIVER

Davante Adams GB @ IND (7th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$8,600)

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 11!

CeeDee Lamb DAL @ MIN (31st)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,000)

Dallas Cowboys rookie WR CeeDee Lamb

Hey CeeDee! It’s bittersweet to see you back with us at B&B. It’s been the awful QB play in DAL. We know CeeDee. We’re here for you. You’re always welcome at B&B. Glad you’re back and I think we all know what comes next!

Jerry Jeudy DEN vs. MIA (20th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,300)

Denver Broncos rookie WR Jerry Jeudy

Jerry has clearly become the WR1 in Denver. Unfortunately Drew Lock hasn’t played well. Jeudy has the 7th worse catch percentage because of it. Looking at a home match-up vs. the surging Miami Dolphins volume alone has JJ on my DFS radar.

Curtis Samuel CAR vs. DET (15th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,700)

Carolina Panther WR Curtis Samuel

I love the idea of Samuel in week 11 at home against this Lions DST. The way Carolina uses him just excites me in this match-up. Plenty of targets and touches coming his way Sunday. He will locked and loaded in all my lines!

Michael Pittman Jr. IND vs. GB (8th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,500)

Indianapolis Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

Mike Pittman Jr. is now the unquestioned WR1 in Indianapolis now. I absolutely don’t see a case where he’s not. Fully healthy, this kid is now able to showcase his superior receiving talents. The volume Pittman Jr. is set to see just astounds me. I’m all aboard at this price.

KJ Hamler DEN vs. MIA (20th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,600)

Denver Broncos rookie WR KJ Hamler

If Jerry is 1A in Denver then KJ is making a case for 1B. After a 10 target day in week 10 KJ’s prospects for week 11 are extremely bright!

Willie Snead IV BAL vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,500)

Baltimore Ravens WR Willie Snead IV

After all the complaining in Baltimore Hollywood Brown has done nothing! While Willie has stepped up to a certain extent. Truth be told, Snead does this from time to time. Moving forward I’m expecting Willie to see 6-7 high upside targets Sunday.

Marvin Hall DET @ CAR (12th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,800)

Detroit Lions WR Marvin Hall

At this point I think it’s best we take a look at Marvin Hall. At this point I think it best to take Marvin Hall serious. With or without Kenny G this guy has a role. A deep route type roll. Tampa Bay throttled Carolina through the air in week 10. With or without Kenny G, Matthew Stafford can have the same success.

Devin Duvernay BAL vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,000)

Baltimore Ravens rookie WR Devin Duvernay

I can’t put my finger on Devin. I’ll take it one step further, I can’t put my finger on Lamar Jackson. The Ravens would be wise to get the rookie involved more. There is an opening this week vs. the 30th overall ranked pass defense of the Titans.

Steven Sims Jr. WSH vs. CIN (26th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$3,000)

Washington WR Steven Sims Jr.

Sims Jr. was targeted 6 times Sunday in Detroit. While Alex Smith attempted 55 passes for 390 yards. In week 12 I’m fully expecting a competitive game here with CIN. I’d be willing to bet Alex throws 40+ passes in this one. While Sims Jr. sees several down field looks.

Chris Conley JAX vs. PIT (23rd)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,000)

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Chris Conley

Quick question, what Jacksonville WR was targeted the most in week 10? I’m sure by know you’ve already guessed it. Chris Conley! Aside from Chark and Robinson has the rookie QB Luton found a favorite secondary WR target? It’s a tough match-up vs. Pittsburgh but that’s why I like it. Conley may be an afterthought leading to several impactful targets.

TIGHT END

Travis Kelce KC @ LV (11th)(FD-$8,000)(DK-$8,000)

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 11!

Dalton Schultz DAL @ MIN (13th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,600)

Dallas Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

The constant turnover in QB play hasn’t bothered Dalton much. He’s playing 95% of the offensive snap as well. The particulars are all there for Dalton in week 11.

Cameron Brate TB vs. LAR (15th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$2,500)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate

Color me impressed! Cameron caught a TD pass in week 10. I know that’s meaningless for week 11. It does tell us a few things. One of which is his usage. It’s not great. However, with Tom Brady as your QB, in primetime, anything goes.

Taysom Hill NO vs. ATL (32nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$4,800)

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill

If you’re reading this then you know why Taysom Hill is a good play this week 11.

Kyle Rudolph MIN vs. DAL (22nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$3,200)

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph

Irv Smith Jr. looks to be dealing with a groin injury. Meanwhile Kyle set a season high in receptions, yardage and routes ran. I like the idea of Kyle finding the end zone in week 11. The Cowboys can only do so much. I’d like to think Rudolph is the least of their worries.

Ryan Izzo NE @ HOU (16th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)

New England Patriots TE Ryan Izzo

Izzo was on the field for 54 of the Patriots 58 offensive snaps in week 10. It hasn’t lead to much production for fantasy purposes but the points will come. Promise!

Durham Smythe MIA @ DEN (9th)(FD-$4,300)(DK-$2,500)

Miami Dolphins TE Durham Smythe

At this point I’m obligated to mention Durham. He was a fun part of my prop bet show last Saturday and he actually scored. Just looking to keep the momentum going!

Here are two of my sample lines I’m going to use for week 11! Keep in mind these lines are for entertainment purposes! Please play responsible!

Fanduel 11/22 1p MAIN

Also look for updated lines closer to lock on Sunday morning 11/22!

Draftkings 11/22 1p MAIN
