Yesterday I had a lot of positive feedback on the defense-man one off segment! With the 14 team stacks given already I’d like to think I left no stone unturned. One off wingers or centers doesn’t seem that important.

Hot Pucking Stacks presents a NEW feature! One off DEFENSEMAN! If you’re like me I fill out my offensive roster first THEN double back to plug in defense. Normally I choose the cheapest D-man with the most ice team. Power play minutes is huge for me when choosing my defensive skaters! Enjoy the new segment!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/10/20 (TWO free lines)

Welcome back! Hopefully reading this will break your Monday blues!

Yesterdays sample lines did very well! In the right contests they were dynamite! Both my Main line and After Hours line were on top of the scoreboards! Here is a picture of each roster I published yesterday afternoon!

2/9 Main-164.9
After Hours 2/9-168.5

Let the good times roll! Tonight is a medium sized schedule. NHL 7p Main is six games and the 10p After Hours slate is a beautiful two games! I will give out a sample line for each slate! Use them wisely! Enough with the small talk, lets get to it!

Claude Giroux L1 & PP1
Sean Couturier L1 & PP1
Jakub Vorack L1 & PP1

The Panthers come to Philly tonight licking their wounds and have gone 1-4 in their last 5 games. While the Flyers have gone 3-2 their last 5. Florida has had no answer for the Flyers recently losing 5 of their last 6 on the road in Philly. The Flyers first line has been playing well recently and we can double dip on the first power play line. The over/under is set at 6.5 and I’m thinking Philly wins 4-2 or 5-3.

Jonathon Drouin L3 & PP2
Max Domi L3 & PP2
Artturi Lehkonen L3

Arizona is in Montreal tonight and on average have scored 2.73 goals a game while giving up 2.66 goals. The Canadians are dead even scoring 3.05 goals a game and giving up 3.05 a game. Montreal has dominated the Coyotes at home going 14-4-2 their last 20. MTL is banged up but I don’t see them giving this one away. MTL wins 3-1 or 4-1 tonight. Stack the third line, due to the injuries they should see more ice time then normal.

Alex Ovechkin L1 & PP1
Nicklas Backstrom L1 & PP1
Tom Wilson L1

Listen, I’m going to keep this simple. Ovi is chasing 700 goals tonight. Yes the Caps were blown out 7-2 by the Flyers over the weekend. Washington was horrible on defense. The Caps will come out flying trying to make amends for their last contest. I’m normally not big on game narratives but 700 goals is too sweet to pass up on. They feed Ovi early and often and skate to a 5-2 or 4-1 win tonight. Ovi gets goal #700 and #701! START WSH 1!

Brett Connolly L2 & PP2
Vincent Trocheck L2 & PP2
Noel Acciari L2

Florida @ Philadelphia has the highest implied goal tonight. 6.5 is the o/u. As I said earlier in the article the Panthers play horrible in Philly and the Flyers should win. BUT their second line is a nice, cheap and sneaky stack. If you look around this slate I’m seeing 5-6 other line stacks that take precedence over FLA2 tonight. That excites me and makes FLA2 a line to jump on. Florida scores 3.53 goals a game this year and it wouldn’t shock me if FLA puts in 2 or 3.

Main 2/10

JT Miller L2 & PP2
Elias Pettersson L2 & PP1
Jake Virtanen L2 & PP2

Nashville comes to Vancouver tonight. I’ve dogged the Predators a few times this season and its come back to bite me once. Tonight is their four straight game vs. a Canadian team. Tonight will end a 4 game Canadian road trip for the Preds and I can see them wanting to get in and out and head home. The Canuks have been up and down recently and have lost their last 4 games and have been outscored 18-7 over that stretch. It looks grim tonight in Vancouver but in my sick and twisted mind that’s why I like VAN2! The Canuks squeak out a 3-2 or 4-1 win tonight!

Evander Kane L1 & PP1
Barclay Goodrow L1
Patrick Marleau L1 & PP2

Calgary comes to the shark tank tonight ranked only 23rd in goals scored this season. While San Jose is riding a two game winning streak. Including a massive win vs. the Oilers 6-3! San Jose just beat the Flames a few games ago. I think the Sharks take advantage of knowing how to beat the Flames. It sounds silly but it’s true. San Jose jumps all over Calgary and wins 5-1 or 4-1.

After Hours 2/10

Thanks you for reading! Here is a main line and an after hours line up and the direction I’m heading. Please use these lines responsibility. They are always to be used for fun!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/6/20 (TWO FREE lineups)

Back at it tonight with 12 games! Tonight is broken down into four separate slates. Main, express, Express II and after hours.

We’ve taken our time here and have come up with eight different line combos. Some expensive and some cheap lines. It was very confusing at first glance but the numbers spoke to me. They told me to follow my heart!

Gabriel Landeskog L1 & PP1
Nathan MacKinnon L1 & PP1
Mikko Ratingen L1 & PP1

Valeri Nichushkin L2 & PP2
Nazem Kadri L2 & PP1
Andre Burakovsky L2

I’m going to lump both Colorado lines together in this one. They jumped off the page to me right off the bat. That first power play line is going to do some damage tonight in Ottawa.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins L2 & PP1
Leon Draisaitl L2 & PP1
Kailer Yamamoto L2 & PP2

Edmonton’s second line is actually ranked higher and a little better then their first line! All thanks to Leon and Ryan Nug! They both play on the first power play with Connor. That’s really what we’re after here. McDavid is at 1.49 points a game. So the trick here is to get a piece of him without his spending up on his crazy high salary.

Ilya Kovalchuk L2 & PP2
Nick Suzuki L2 & PP1
Joel Armia L2 & PP2

Montreal is a home favorite tonight vs. the Ducks. The Canadians have a 3 goal implication tonight and I think they meet it with ease!

James van Riemsdyk L1 & PP1
Claude Giroux L1 & PP1
Travis Konecny L1 & PP1

The Flyers are another team who jumped off the computer screen at me today. The Devils are in Philly tonight and they are a massive underdog. Look for the Flyers top line to exceed their 3.4 implied goal implication. Fire up their top line with confidence!

Johnny Gaudreau L2 & PP1
Sean Monanhan L2 & PP1
Buddy Robinson L2

Back to the Calgary 2 well again! Nashville is in Calgary tonight and its completely split down the middle! Goal implications and all! Their second line is a tad pricy but could pay dividends on the power play.

Jeff Skinner L3 & PP1
Evan Rodrigues L3 & PP2
Rasmus Asplund L3

The Red Wings are in town tonight so I wouldn’t be upset if any of you went with BUF1 and Jack Eichel. Buffalos third line is a nice way to get some salary relief.

Jaden Schwartz L2 & PP1
Brayden Schenn L2 & PP1
Robert Thomas L2 & PP2

The Blues are favorites tonight at home against the Jets. They are projected win at 70% with a 3.3 goal implication. Most people will flock to the Blues first line. Best production will come from their second line.

Oh boy! I’d be an idiot not to mention this one. Loaded with massive stars but all at extremely high prices. Best thing I can tell you is look for a few one offs on each 1st or 2nd line. Like Pittsburgh’s Jared McCann or Dominik Simon. Both play on the Penguins top line with Crosby and they are both under $5k.
Same principles apply for Tampa Bay. Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson come to mind. Both play on the Lightening second line and get some PP2 minutes. They are both under 5k as well!

Happy hunting! As always these lines are to be used for fun! Please play responsibly!
