What’s up money team? Well last night was one of the weirdest and worst nights I’ve ever seen in the history of playing dfs. This is why we push bank roll management so hard. We can’t predict the future or what other people are going to do in most cases, and last night was a perfect example. Middleton and DiVincenzo both didn’t start, and Powell got hurt in the first quarter. It is what it is, today we are back to the grind. Today is much better with a nine game slate with tons of value. Let’s see what we can find.

Last nights value crusher
Ibaka 7.6X
Morris 5.4X
Cody Martin 5X

Point Guard
DJ Augustine

He has been heating up the last couple of games. Producing a nice 7 and 8X return in both of those contest. Tonight he gets a matchup against a Memphis team that has a dvp ranking of 17th. I’m definitely looking tonight for a solid 6X return, in a game I presume will stay pretty close. He’s averaging 26 minutes over the past two games, and as long as those minutes stay, I’m locking this guy in. Also look at Ricky Rubio.

Shooting Guard
Lou Williams

*LOU WILLIAMS HAS BEEN RULED OUT The fantasy production has been up and down with him, but tonight he faces a warriors defense that has continued to struggle. His price is $4900 which is kind of high in my opinion given his less than stellar recent performances, but maybe Vegas knows something we don’t. This might be a position I pay up tonight, but then again, if the feeling is right I will go for it. Golden State has a dvp ranking of 29th, and they don’t have a 2nd unit to defend this guy. Maybe that’s where the price inflation comes from. Either way, keep an eye on him.

Small Forward
Troy Brown

At a price tag of $4200, and facing a Knocks team that is ranked 20th in dvp, I love this play tonight. I think tonight is a perfect bounce back spot from his dud a game ago. If Jerome Robinson sits tonight and Brown gets the start, I like this play a whole lot more. Even with the recent inconsistency, I can still see a 6X return tonight if we get the minutes out of him. Also watch for Denzel Valentine! He will smash tonight.

Power Forward
Maxi Kleber

He should get the start tonight, and at a price of $4400 I’ll take the risk. He had one of his worst outings last game, only producing 9 fantasy points. Tonight he faces San Antonio, who’s ranked 23rd in dvp, which is a huge plus for us considering the dud he put up was against Sabonis. I’m looking tonight for a huge bounce back performance and possibly more than a 6X return. Also look at Naz Reid

Center
PJ Tucker

I honestly kind of like Tucker in this spot and he is almost bare minimum price at $3800. Minnesota is 19th in dvp, so he may struggle a bit, but we know he can bang with the best of them. With Harden and Westbrook on the court there will be plenty of opportunity for assist and baskets. This is strictly a salary saver for me though because of all the talent at the center position for me tonight. If you have the salary, look at Andre Drummond. He’s a smasher tonight even at his price.

What’s goin on money team?! Today we have a pretty fun but busy 6 game slate. I’m sure some injury news will break closer to lock, but for now let’s get this value.

Last nights value smasher was
Kyle Anderson 6X
Cedi Osman 7.3X

The Value Core

Point Guard
Dejounte Murray

I’m really happy Murray didn’t have a great night in his last performance, because now his price has come down. Today his price tag is only $5500, and he is going up against the worst perimeter defense in the NBA. He’s averaging 27 fppg on the season, which is right at 5X return for us, and tonight I just think he smashes value big time. His recent dud was the first time he hadn’t reached value in 5 games. Just lock this guy into a gpp or cash lineup and move on.

Shooting Guard
Terrence Ross

To me, Ross is one of the most underestimated players in the league. Tonight he face is a Houston defense that will be getting Westbrook back, but it will be a huge piece up game for the Orlando Magic. Even with Westbrook on the court Houston still gIves up the 7th most fppg to shooting guards. In his last five games he has returned at least 6X value, with one of those games being a massive 10 X return. This is another lock and load for me tonight. Houston is on the second leg of a back to back which is also another positive for our guy.

Small Forward
Cedi Osman

I mentioned disguise shortly in my article last night, and he smashed value with a 7X return. Tonight he faces a San Antonio defense that is giving up the 9th most fppg to small forwards. At a price tag of $4100 I can definitely see a return of 6X. Cleveland is on the second game of a back to back which may decrease minute play for our guy, but even with a minute cut he can still ball out.

Power Forward
Robert Covington

I know his salary is at $6100, as of right now there’s not a lot of value to choose from at this position. I can definitely see this man getting us at least a 6X return tonight, and that’s why he is in this article. Since coming to Houston he is definitely picked his game back up and started to find his stroke again. Cleveland has a dvp ranking of 22nd which is an ideal spot for this young man to face. It’s going to be a battle down low, but we know this young man can ball. Lock him in.

Center
Mitchell Robinson

As long as this guy can stay out of foul trouble tonight, I see a definite 6X return from him. Ever since Drummond left Detroit I love targeting big win against them. Even though Robinson is not a true big man, he knows how to bang with the best of them. His price tag comes in at $5800, and I can see him smashing that tonight. He has not return value in his two previous games but prior to that returned us 7X. I would look for a repeat performance of that tonight. With it being only 6 games on the main slate we gotta pay attention to value, and get some relief somewhere.
