Hot Pucking Stacks 1/20/20

Happy MLK Day friends!
No big speech here, just be kind to others. It’s 2020 if you haven’t noticed. Time to treat everyone with respect.
The NHL has a light schedule today. NBA steals the show on MLK day. With a quick and clean two game slate the stacks are quite clear.
Colorado 1 & Florida 1. Both are expensive and you can’t fit them both into the same roster. So what I’ve done is find two other line stacks. This way you can mix and match!
Sometimes NHL isn’t rocket science. Today the Colorado Avalanche are here in Detroit. Sad to say but at this point we stack against the Red Wings. It worked out well Saturday with Florida’s first line. Get Colorado’s first line on your rosters! Colorado’s first line also plays on their first power play unit which is ranked 8th overall. I suggest you also try and fit Ian Cole on your rosters at defense. Cole is +22 and has 20 points in 41 games. He’s on pace to set records in both goals and assists. At only $3,800 on FanDuel he’s a must!
Colorado 1
Nathan Mackinnon
Mikko Rantanen
Gabriel Landeskog
All three of these men are on Colorado’s first power play unit!
The Florida Panthers first line are all averaging 13 or more points a game per player. No fancy stats or power play numbers with this one. One guy that does stand out to me is Noel Acciari. He’s a winger on the Panthers 2nd line. He’s around 17 minutes a game. He also has 17 goals and 3 assists so far this season. No to mention 4 goals in 6 games this month.
Florida 1
Aleksander Barkov
Jonathon Huberdeau
Evgeni Dadov
All three of these men also run on the first power play unit!
As I said up top we can’t fit both COL1 & FLA1 in our lines due to salary restrictions. We have to mix and match! Here are two other lines we can use!
Colorado 2
Nazem Kadri PP1
Andre Burakorsky PP2
Valeri Nichushkin PP2
With COL 2 you’re getting exposure to both power plays at a significant discount. All under 5k on FanDuel.
Minnesota 3
Luke Kunin
Marcus Foligno
Joel Eriksson EK
These three don’t play on the power play but all of them are averaging around 8 fantasy points a game mixed with 15 minutes of ice time. At their price, all in the low to mid 3k range they make for a nice salary relief play.
I said in the opening it’s all about mixing and matching today. As you can see in this picture this is how I’ve worked it out. Good luck!
