MLB IS APPROACHING, ONLY 15 MORE DAYS TILL THE FIRST PITCH OF THE SEASON!!!!!
He has been heating up the last couple of games. Producing a nice 7 and 8X return in both of those contest. Tonight he gets a matchup against a Memphis team that has a dvp ranking of 17th. I’m definitely looking tonight for a solid 6X return, in a game I presume will stay pretty close. He’s averaging 26 minutes over the past two games, and as long as those minutes stay, I’m locking this guy in. Also look at Ricky Rubio.
*LOU WILLIAMS HAS BEEN RULED OUT The fantasy production has been up and down with him, but tonight he faces a warriors defense that has continued to struggle. His price is $4900 which is kind of high in my opinion given his less than stellar recent performances, but maybe Vegas knows something we don’t. This might be a position I pay up tonight, but then again, if the feeling is right I will go for it. Golden State has a dvp ranking of 29th, and they don’t have a 2nd unit to defend this guy. Maybe that’s where the price inflation comes from. Either way, keep an eye on him.
At a price tag of $4200, and facing a Knocks team that is ranked 20th in dvp, I love this play tonight. I think tonight is a perfect bounce back spot from his dud a game ago. If Jerome Robinson sits tonight and Brown gets the start, I like this play a whole lot more. Even with the recent inconsistency, I can still see a 6X return tonight if we get the minutes out of him. Also watch for Denzel Valentine! He will smash tonight.
He should get the start tonight, and at a price of $4400 I’ll take the risk. He had one of his worst outings last game, only producing 9 fantasy points. Tonight he faces San Antonio, who’s ranked 23rd in dvp, which is a huge plus for us considering the dud he put up was against Sabonis. I’m looking tonight for a huge bounce back performance and possibly more than a 6X return. Also look at Naz Reid
I honestly kind of like Tucker in this spot and he is almost bare minimum price at $3800. Minnesota is 19th in dvp, so he may struggle a bit, but we know he can bang with the best of them. With Harden and Westbrook on the court there will be plenty of opportunity for assist and baskets. This is strictly a salary saver for me though because of all the talent at the center position for me tonight. If you have the salary, look at Andre Drummond. He’s a smasher tonight even at his price.
After a dud in Cleveland, I can definitely see a bounce back performance tonight. At a price of $3800, I will be paying very close attention to this game. If it blows out, because they are play Milwaukee, Morris definitely gets an extra run in minutes. Milwaukee is first in pace so this is a pace up game for Denver. This is a volatile play but I’m willing to take the risk.
We need to pay close attention to the VanVleet news, because if he is out again, Powell is a lock in every category tonight. He’s produced at least 6X in 6 straight games. Yes Utah has a great dvp, but I don’t think that will effect this young man what so ever. His price is down to $5500, and pending the news, this dude will be in every one of my lineups.
This is one of my favorite plays of the night. Going up against a Hawks defense that has a dvp ranking of dead last, I think Martin balls out tonight. He has returned 5X value in 4 straight games, and all 4 were against much better interior defenses. His price is at $4700, which is pretty fair. I’ll definitely be looking for at least a 6X return tonight.
This is probably my least favorite play tonight, only because he’s going to be banging with Siakam. Toronto’s interior defense is in my opinion one of the best in the league, but our guy could still return 5X. His price is at $3700 which I am definitely ok playing him at, considering he has returned 5X value in 5 out of his last 7 games. High risk but high reward if he pays off.
Once again we are targeting the Hawks interior defense here. Their dvp ranking against centers is 29th, and Zeller is hard to stop when you are trying to play small ball. His price tag is only $4300, and going against a terrible defense, I might just be locking this guy in tonight. He produced 5X two games ago against Jokic, so why wouldn’t be pick him here?!
There’s a reason why this kids price is climbing, he’s been on fire. Producing at least 6X in 4 out of his last 5 games. He will be up against an Orlando team that’s middle of the pack in giving up fantasy points to point guards, which is perfect for us. It will be a slow paced game which might scare some people off and give us the edge with low ownership, so I’m taking that risk.
On one of the highest implied totals of the night, and facing one of the worst dvp teams in the league, how can u not like this play. Coming off of a game where he produced 6.6 X, I can definitely see you tonight being close to a repeat performance if not better. His price tag is inflated because of that performance, at $4400 but it’s not enough for me to not play him. Especially if you’re looking for some salary relief.
Right back to the well today! Portland is pretty good at defending the position, but I see tons of points being scored in this game. This young man has been solid as of recently, and I am definitely taking advantage of the situation. In six out of his last seven performances he has reached at least 6X return, with one of those games being an 11 X return. Lock and load this guy in your lineup and go ahead and move on.
We all know what happens when teams play the Golden State Warriors this season, they simply ball out. Saric’s price is at $3800 and he has been starting the past few games. More minutes equals more fantasy production opportunity, and this is definitely one spot we need to pay attention to you. He will be going against Green, Who we all know is a bully and a good defender, but I can definitely see at least a 5X return tonight for this guy.
As usual he will probably be splitting minutes with Howard, so I won’t be looking for a huge return from him but I do see at least a 5X return on the night. If Howard gets the start, our guy will not have to worry about being boxed out by Valanciunas, and I don’t think Memphis has anybody off of their bench that can match up. At a price tag of $3600, this is definitely a salary relief play for me if it comes down to that when completing my lineup.
LBJ is out, so you know what that means, Rondo actually gets to play point guard! His price tag is only at $4000, and I am projecting is going to have a monster game. He will get a huge usage but with LeBron off the court tonight, and in my eyes is the greatest value play on the slate. He will be facing a golden state Warriors team that is just flat out horrible, and they are still without Steph Curry. Lock this guy in to your lineup hands-down no questions asked!
I had this guy in my article A few days ago when he went bonkers for a 10X return, and I am riding the train again tonight. Facing the same Golden State Warriors team that I just mentioned, there is absolutely no reason at all to not have this guy in your lineup. As stated previously LeBron will be off the court which means everyone gets a bump in usage and minutes. Lock and load. He is still only $3900 and is facing the worst defense against the position.
His price tag is $5600, but on such a small slate, you have to be able to find value somewhere and differentiate yourself. He will be going against the Portland team that is middle of the league when it comes to defending the position, but tonight I’m projecting him at right around 5.5 X. He has only not hit value twice in his last five games, and should definitely be able to take it vantage of this matchup tonight.
If this game turns into a blowout which it very well easily could, Kuzma will definitely see an extended run in minutes. If the situation turns out like I think it will, I want to be the one to take advantage of this spot. His price tag is at $4100, and the kid in my eyes is a Baller! I believe he will go low owned tonight with so many people chasing after Anthony Davis, and this is why I will be locking him in my lineup as well.
I wish I would have had previous exposure to him when he played the last time, but I didn’t. Tonight he will be facing a Portland team that has been getting smashed at the center position all season long, but so has Indiana. This is a very intriguing matchup for me and I’m shooting for turner to get the best of Whiteside tonight. I do understand that his price tag is $6000, but if he can return us at least 6X tonight, I am more than willing to pay that price.
