What’s up money team?! Well last night was another profitable night for us here. Tonight we have a six game slate, with some pretty good looking value. Let’s get to it and see what we can find.

Last nights value smashers

DJ Augustine 5.5X
Ricky Rubio 5.5X
DenzelValentine 5.2X
PJ Tucker 7.9X

The Value Core

Point Guard – Goran Dragic

This pick for me will hinge on the injury news of Nunn. If Nunn sits tonight I’m locking Dragic in. He has had spurts of brilliance throughout the season, and even though Vegas has the Hornets as 10 point favorites, I see tons of potential in this spot. Charlotte does have a dvp ranking of 6th, but I’m not concerned. Dragic has had a couple duds in a row, but that’s where I like to take advantage, because the price drops. His price tag tonight is a reasonable $5100, and I can live with that.
Also look at Payton

Shooting Guard – RJ Barrett

Here we go again, targeting the worst dvp ranked team. This time though we have Barrett to help us take advantage of a smash spot. His price is only $4800, and I can see him absolutely smashing at this price. He just returned 6X against Washington who is worse than Atlanta defending the position. I’m looking tonight for Barrett to exceed 6X.
Also look at Richardson he is in a smash spot

Small Forward – Cam Reddish

I actually really like Reddish on the other side of the ball tonight. New York is ranked 20th in dvp and we seen what he could do last night with a 7.7X return. I don’t think tonight will be quite that good, but I do see at least 6X. His price is $5000, and it’s continuing to climb. This is definitely a price and spot we want to have exposure to this evening. It’s kind of a volatile play only because his production has been back and forth, but I have faith he will produce.
Watch for Caleb Martin, could be a sneaky value play.

Power Forward – Maxi Kleber

I’m going right back to the well with this one. Denver is good defensively, which makes this a risky play. His price is only $4400 and Denver has a dvp ranking of 12th, but it’s not enough to scare me away. Kleber almost reached value last night against San Antonio, and should definitely be able to do it tonight. He has reached at least 5X in 3 out of his last 5 games, and tonight I’ll be looking for him to get back on track. He will be banging with Millsap, but I believe he has this one in the bag.
Also watch for Zion to ball out tonight.

Center – Mitchell Robinson

Until Capela is back from injury, I will stay targeting centers that play against Atlanta. I think this is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate tonight. He’s coming off a dud against Washington, but his price is still the same at $5700. It’s obvious fanduel sees this as a bounce back spot as well, so I’m rolling with it. Atlanta’s dvp ranking is 28th, and are close to being dead last in rebounds per game. This will be a huge pace up game for the Knicks. Just lock this guy in and move on.

What’s goin on money team? Well we definitely had some value pay off last night, and we are looking to keep the streak going. Tonight is a light 3 game slate, so remember we do not recommend playing cash games on small nights like this. With that said, let’s dig in.

Last nights value smashers
Murray 10.1X
Osman 9.2X
Ross 5.3X
Robinson 6.8X

The Value Core

Poing Guard
Monte Morris

After a dud in Cleveland, I can definitely see a bounce back performance tonight. At a price of $3800, I will be paying very close attention to this game. If it blows out, because they are play Milwaukee, Morris definitely gets an extra run in minutes. Milwaukee is first in pace so this is a pace up game for Denver. This is a volatile play but I’m willing to take the risk.

Shooting Guard
Norman Powell

We need to pay close attention to the VanVleet news, because if he is out again, Powell is a lock in every category tonight. He’s produced at least 6X in 6 straight games. Yes Utah has a great dvp, but I don’t think that will effect this young man what so ever. His price is down to $5500, and pending the news, this dude will be in every one of my lineups.
Also look at DiVincenzo

Shooting Guard
Cody Martin

This is one of my favorite plays of the night. Going up against a Hawks defense that has a dvp ranking of dead last, I think Martin balls out tonight. He has returned 5X value in 4 straight games, and all 4 were against much better interior defenses. His price is at $4700, which is pretty fair. I’ll definitely be looking for at least a 6X return tonight.

Power Forward
Royce O’Neale

This is probably my least favorite play tonight, only because he’s going to be banging with Siakam. Toronto’s interior defense is in my opinion one of the best in the league, but our guy could still return 5X. His price is at $3700 which I am definitely ok playing him at, considering he has returned 5X value in 5 out of his last 7 games. High risk but high reward if he pays off.
Also look at Ibaka, he is in a prime spot tonight

Center
Cody Zeller

Once again we are targeting the Hawks interior defense here. Their dvp ranking against centers is 29th, and Zeller is hard to stop when you are trying to play small ball. His price tag is only $4300, and going against a terrible defense, I might just be locking this guy in tonight. He produced 5X two games ago against Jokic, so why wouldn’t be pick him here?!

Remember to pay attention closely to injury news tonight! And I repeat it is not a cash night, strictly GPP!

If you have any questions or would like updated value please closer to lock, feel free to hit me up on the Discord app and I will gladly answer your questions. Good luck tonight and please play responsibly!

Course

This week the PGA Tour stops in Orlando at the Bay Hill Golf Course for the 42nd edition of The Arnold Palmer Invitational. Bay Hill lays out as four Par 3’s, ten Par 4’s and 4 Par 5’s. 16, 17, 18 is one of the best finishing stretches in golf. The 16th is a reachable Par 5 a solid drive sets up a shot over water to get home in two. The 16th green is blanketed by a beach of bunkers that belly up to water short right. Finally, the 18th is one of the most iconic holes in all of golf. Getting it in the fairway isn’t enough, you’ve got to set up your approach shot off the tee. This is one of my favorite tournaments on the PGA Tour and I’ll look forward to someone stepping to the 18th tee on Sunday with the tournament on the line.

Weather

This week It looks as if the course will dodge any rain prior to the opening round. Look for tempters to hover in the mid 60’s to low 70’s over the weekend, but Thursday’s opening round forecasts call for 90 degree partly cloudy weather before diving back into the low 70’s on Friday. Wednesday the forecast calls for a high of 89 degrees, as mentioned before, 90 degrees on Thursday, the course could get very fast with high heat and wind in play.

Field and Cut

The cut this week is the Top 65 and ties after the completion of the second round. There are some stars in this field, however Tiger Woods did WD with lower back stiffness last week.

Top 10 in the Field

1. Rory Mcllroy
3. Brooks Koepka
6. Adam Scott
8. Patrick Reed

There are 13 players in the World Golf Rankings Top 25 in the field this week.

Recent Winners

2019 Francesco Molinari
2018 Rory MCllroy
2017 Marc Leishman
2016 Jason Day

What Oddsmakers Say

Rory Mcllroy +500
Tommy Fleetwood +1400
Hideki Matsuyama +1600
Bryson DeChambeau +1800
Xander Schauffele +2000
Adam Scott +2200
Patrick Reed +2500
Sungjae Im +2500
Brooks Koepka +2800

Key Stats To Consider

Strokes Gained Off The Tee
Strokes Gained On Approach
Greens In Regulation
Par 5 Scoring Average
Par 3 Performance
Strokes Gained (Scrambling)

The Bottom Line

This is not an easy golf course. Yes, they’ve widened some fairways over the last couple of years and the course is minus some trees. However, with the heat prior to the tournament and in the opening round, don’t discount that water comes into play on 8 holes. On those 8 holes, the rough bordering the water is gone, balls close to water will not stop they’ll roll on in the drink. I personally don’t think you have to be a guy who bombs it to win. I do think that Rory is the best player in the field with a game fit specially for a golf course like Bay Hill. Rory is T8 in Par 3 Performance, 1st in Par 5 Scoring Average, T13th in Greens In Regulation, 1st in strokes gained scrambling, 3rd in strokes gained on approach and 7th in Strokes gained off the tee.

What’s up money team?! Today looks like a super fun slate, with tons of value to keep up with. Not a problem for us if you’re part of the team, because you know we know where to find it. Let’s get things started.

PG Derrick White

There’s a reason why this kids price is climbing, he’s been on fire. Producing at least 6X in 4 out of his last 5 games. He will be up against an Orlando team that’s middle of the pack in giving up fantasy points to point guards, which is perfect for us. It will be a slow paced game which might scare some people off and give us the edge with low ownership, so I’m taking that risk.

SG Gary Trent

On one of the highest implied totals of the night, and facing one of the worst dvp teams in the league, how can u not like this play. Coming off of a game where he produced 6.6 X, I can definitely see you tonight being close to a repeat performance if not better. His price tag is inflated because of that performance, at $4400 but it’s not enough for me to not play him. Especially if you’re looking for some salary relief.

SF De’Andre Hunter

Right back to the well today! Portland is pretty good at defending the position, but I see tons of points being scored in this game. This young man has been solid as of recently, and I am definitely taking advantage of the situation. In six out of his last seven performances he has reached at least 6X return, with one of those games being an 11 X return. Lock and load this guy in your lineup and go ahead and move on.

PF Dario Saric

We all know what happens when teams play the Golden State Warriors this season, they simply ball out. Saric’s price is at $3800 and he has been starting the past few games. More minutes equals more fantasy production opportunity, and this is definitely one spot we need to pay attention to you. He will be going against Green, Who we all know is a bully and a good defender, but I can definitely see at least a 5X return tonight for this guy.

C JaVale McGee

As usual he will probably be splitting minutes with Howard, so I won’t be looking for a huge return from him but I do see at least a 5X return on the night. If Howard gets the start, our guy will not have to worry about being boxed out by Valanciunas, and I don’t think Memphis has anybody off of their bench that can match up. At a price tag of $3600, this is definitely a salary relief play for me if it comes down to that when completing my lineup.

Also look at Whiteside. This is a value Street article so I did not put him at my center position but I do see him getting at least 6X return tonight.
