Bottom of the Barrel WK10

Bottom of the Barrel WK10
Chris Robin

How many of you are exhausted? Mentally checked out from life? The more I look around and interact with people the clearer it’s become. We need a break. We need to rest and recharge.

Easier said then done right? As a productive member of society its highly unlikely you can just walk away for a week. Where would you go? Who would you go with? I read an article recently that stated the lead up to a vacation is actually the best part. The daydreaming. The romanticizing that goes on. Why can’t we do that now?

The last six months, actually more, have been extremely difficult for most. We can all relax now. Rest and enjoy week 10.

Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 10. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Russell Wilson SEA @ LAR (4th)(FD-$8,900)(DK-$7,700)

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 10!

Jared Goff LAR vs. SEA (32nd)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$6,500)

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff

Fresh off of their bye week the Rams, an Goff, should have a field day Sunday against the Seahawks lowly ranked defense.

Drew Lock DEN @ LV (25th)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$5,500)

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock

Drew Lock has shown some flashes the last few weeks. This Sunday vs. the Raiders should be no different. Vegas is allowing the 6th most fantasy points to opposing QB’s while owning the 6th worst defense pass defense. With Jerry Jeudy stepping up in recently weeks expect some fireworks from Mr. Lock!

Baker Mayfield CLE vs. HOU (23rd)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$6,000)

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield

Baker was placed on the COVID-IR list after being in close contact with someone who had COVID. He should be cleared by Wednesday and have a normal week of practice anyway. We’ve done well picking on the Texans! HOU is giving up the 8th most fantasy points to opposing QB’s.

Tua Tagovailoa MIA vs. LAC (28th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,600)

Miami Dolphins rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa

There he is! Has Tua lived up to his first round draft stock? Not my question to answer! He has however, lead the Dolphins to two straight wins! He also completed 71% of his passes in week 9! Averaging 8.9 yards a completion! Miami has a certain swagger going on right now with Tua leading the change! Looking ahead, the Chargers pose no real risk Tua’s fantasy ceiling in week 10!

Alex Smith WSH @ DET (21st)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,200)

Comeback Player of the Year Alex Smith?

Alex Smith entered the ball game in week 9 after a gruesome Kyle Allen ankle injury. Smith went 24/32 passes for 325 yards and one touchdown. He unfortunately tossed 3 INT’s. Smith heads to Detroit Sunday for a very plus match-up. My projections? 250+ passing yards and 2 TD’s. At this bottom low price you have to consider him!

Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at RB in week 10. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!

Christian McCaffrey CAR vs. TB (12th)(FD-$9,700)(DK-$9,000)

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffery

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 10!

Antonio Gibson WSH @ DET (32nd)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,600)

Washington rookie RB Antonio Gibson

The rookies price tag is a tad high for B&B. His match-up is so damn good though! Looking around at the other high end RB’s this week and their prices, Gibby is actually very cheap! It’s just a simple math equation! Price + production = money!

Darrell Henderson Jr. LAR vs. SEA (14th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,900)

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson

Henderson currently has the dreaded Q tag but after their bye week coach McVay has openly said nothing to see here! Hendy will be a full go in week 10. Darrell has been a ho hum boring type RB so far this season. He hasn’t lit any of our stat sheets on fire but he’s been damn consistent.

Duke Johnson HOU @ CLE (14th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,000)

Houston Texan RB Duke Johnson

Duke is a classic case of workload and volume. If David Johnson doesn’t clear concussion protocol the Duke is their RB1. He averaging a career low 4.3 yards an attempt but who cares when you’re the only one there! The Browns own the 22nd overall rushing defense if that matters. It should!

Jamaal Williams GB vs. JAX (27th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,000)

Green Bay Packers RB Jamal Williams

Aaron Jones is the RB1 in GB. That’s no secret! Even when he and Jamaal are in the lineup Williams is averaging 9.2 touches a game. There is plenty of work to go around in this one vs. the Jags. Jacksonville is giving up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing RB’s.

Jerick McKinnon SF @ NO (5th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$5,600)

San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon

Jet just seems to have a knack for the end zone doesn’t he? Mostert and Coleman remain on the IR and McKinnon received 12 carries and tired legs aside, leap frogged Hasty early Thursday night.

Mike Davis CAR vs. TB (12th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$6,700)

Carolina Panther RB Mike Davis

This is shocking. CMC finally played in week 9 after an extended stay on IR with a high ankle sprain. Now he has some sort of shoulder ailment. Mike Davis at $5,400 on Fanduel is insane. While on Draftkings he was $4,000 then after the CMC news broke he shot up to $6,700. Which is absolutely nuts. In all my years playing DFS I’ve never seen a players price increase AFTER the slate has been introduced. Keep an eye on CMC status.

J.D. Mckissic WSH @ DET (32nd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,900)

Washington Football Team RB JD McKissic

All good turns deserve another. JD was mentioned in B&B9 so of course I’m going back to the well week 10 in Detroit! McKissic caught 9 passes on 14 targets! 14 flipping targets! His passing down work has steadily increased all season and I’m fully expecting a whopper of game in week 10!

Ryan Nall CHI vs. MIN (18th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,000)

Chicago Bears RB Ryan Nall

If David Montgomery hasn’t been what makes you think Nall will play well? I can read your mind, at this point I know all the questions! Ha! Moving on, I don’t know much about Nall. He did rack up yards after the catch in relief of D-Mont last week. At such a low price he will usefull to our DFS lines!

Devontae Booker LV vs. DEN (8th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,000)

Las Vegas Raiders RB Devontae Booker

Make no mistake this clearly Jacobs backfield. Booker did well with his 8 carries in week 9. Scoring on a 23yd TD. I don’t fully expect him to see a ton of work moving forward but there is a game script factor to account for in this one.

Salvon Ahmed MIA vs. LAC (20th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$4,000)

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed

The NFL regular season is a strange place. Everything was set for Jordan Howard to have a nice cheap productive fantasy day. Then in walks Salvon. Looking ahead to week 10 the Dolphins could be without Breida. Every team he’s on seems to hate Jordan Howard. That leaves Mr. Ahmed, at dirt cheap prices, to help our DFS lines.

Joshua Kelley LAC @ MIA (21st)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,400)

Los Angeles Chargers RB Joshua Kelley

Holy cow is this backfield a mess. Too many cooks in the kitchen I think it goes. After Justin Jackson went down Kelley did see the most snaps (43) rushing 9 times for 28 yards and catching all five of his targets. This backfield is all relative seeing how Ekler will be back shortly. In the meantime and in a pinch I’d consider Kelley this week.

Davante Adams GB vs. JAX (19th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$9,000)

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 10!

Jalen Reagor PHI @ NYG (24th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,200)

Philadelphia Eagles rookie WR Jalen Reagor

The time to get in on Reagor is now. Fresh of a bye week and another week stronger and up on the playbook Jalen will be heavily involved. His price will never be lower. A date in New York is just what the DFS doctor ordered.

Tim Patrick DEN @ LV (17th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,900)

Denver Broncos WR Time Patrick

Tim was able to play in week 9 after being limited the week prior in practice. He caught 4 passes for 29 yards and a TD. As Lock grows and learns this offense will open up. Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler and Noah Fant will all be in on the action. Further opening things up for Tim.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling GB vs. JAX (19th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,400)

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Every fantasy football report I’ve read just dogs on MVS. What he did in week 9 was awful. It was shallow and cannot be repeated. I say to them, “cool your jets!” I shouldn’t have to say this but GB’s offense runs through Jones and Adams. Which is fine! There has been no real WR2. It’s fluctuated week-to-week but no one receiver has asserted themselves. At his price, at home vs. Jacksonville, I’ll take the risk in week 10.

Rashard Higgins CLE vs. HOU (26th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,600)

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins

The week Odell Jr. went down Higgins stepped up in a big way. He was then one of the more trendy waiver wire additions and let us all down. Fast forward to week 10 where the Browns were on bye and able to get in some practice reps and build some cohesion.

Richie James SF @ NO (20th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,000)

San Francisco 49ers WR Richie James

Have you ever heard the term, “don’t chase points”? It’s great advice! Deebo Samuel was activated from the COVID-IR along with Brandon Aiyuk while Kendrick Bourne is back on it. Most people would tell you its best to stay away from Richie now with SF’s better WR’s back in the mix. I say no! If you’re playing big money GPP’s you need to take educated risks!

KJ Hamler DEN @ LV (17th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,800)

Denver Broncos rookie WR KJ Hamler

Finally! KJ is finally showing us those flashes that made him such a fun selection in the draft! KJ continues to out do himself week-to-week. Setting career bests in receptions and yardage. Week 9 was no exception. 6 catches on 10 targets for 75 yards and an explosive 12.5 yards-per-catch! Hamler and Denver find themselves in a juicy match-up vs. the 25th overall pass defense of the Vegas Raiders.

Michael Pittman Jr. IND @ TEN (30th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,300)

Indianapolis Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr.

Speaking of a rookie who continues to improve each game, Michael Pittman Jr. The Colts hang their hat on their defense and rightfully so. While their offense is still a work in progress. As they grow and learn more Pittman looks to be among the biggest benefactors. Another lowly priced kid who can help us win big this week.

Greg Ward PHI @ NYG (24th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,800)

Philadelphia Eagles WR Greg Ward

As I’m sure you’ve noticed I intend to pick on the Giants this week. First Reagor, now Ward! Greg’s long term prospects for fantasy relevance are fading. With the return of Alshon (yawn), Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders there will only be enough targets to go around. Get it while you can with Mr. Ward.

Jalen Guyton LAC @ MIA (22nd)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,300)

Los Angeles Chargers rookie WR Jalen Guyton

Something something 75 yard bomb. While the masses are looking at Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Hunter Henry sneak in with Jalen!

Van Jefferson Jr. LAR vs. SEA (32nd)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$3,000)

Los Angeles Rams rookie WR Van Jefferson Jr.

Van Jr. is the reason I created this article. He’s not seeing a ton of work but Goff is looking his way. We have to pick our spots. I’m choosing this one! The O/U here is at 55.5. That’s the second highest point implied total. There will be plenty of points to go around!

Darren Waller LV vs. DEN (10th)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,900)

Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 10!

Robert Tonyan GB vs. JAX (28th)(FD-$5,700)(Dk-$3,600)

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan

Am I the only one who thinks this is a multi-TD game for Tonyan? Good! Glad I’m not the only one!

Eric Ebron PIT vs. CIN (30th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,400)

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Eric Ebron

Ebron continues to see great volume and he’s doing well with each target. Cincinnati ranks 31st overall against opposing TE’s. I love Ebron’s chances of finding the end zone again in week 10.

Austin Hooper CLE vs. HOU (20th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,900)

Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper

Hooper will be back in the mix at TE in week 10. Another match-up to exploit.

Jordan Reed SF @ NO (29th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,500)

San Francisco 49ers TE Jordan Reed

We all know the risk you take when Jordan Reed is in your roster. Use him while you can.

Donald Parham Jr. LAC @ MIA (6th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)

Los Angeles Chargers TE Donald Parham Jr.

Herbert continues to look Don’s way. At the price what more is there to say?

Jesse James DET vs. WSH (25th)(FD-$4,300)(DK-$3,100)

Detroit Lions TE Jesse James

No deep statistical analysis here. Washington isn’t all that good against TE’s. 99% of people will be on TJ Hock. I’ll be on James. Care to join?

Here are two of my sample lines I’m going to use for week 10! Keep in mind these lines are for entertainment purposes! Please play responsible!

Fanduel 11/15 1p MAIN

Also look for updated lines closer to lock on Sunday morning 11/15!

Draftkings 11/15 1p MAIN

With Raheem Mostert wanting out of San Francisco, let’s dive in and discuss some trade scenarios that best fit his needs.
San Francisco RB Raheem Mostert
#1 Will he start?
Currently, almost every team in the NFL has a starting running back or is pretty much running back by committee. However, that doesn’t mean there’s not a good landing spot for him.
#2 Who is Raheem Mostert?
Coming out of Purdue, Mostert wasn’t highly thought of. Also, his first couple of years show him playing on five different teams just in that time span. He finally settled in with the 49ers in 2017 as a special teams player, and had a career year in 2019 for a combined 952 yards on the ground and in the air all at age 27.
#3 Teams looking to take a risk:
A)The Bears – fantasy owners just sighed heavily. What about David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen? Nothing the Bears have done over the last couple of years has made sense, but Cohen has been strictly a passing-down running back for the last two years and David Montgomery is still looking to hit his stride as an every-down back.
B)Atlanta – We all know Atlanta went out and signed Todd Gurley this off-season, but what we don’t know is how good the running backs are behind him. Yes, there’s Ito Smith as well as Brian Hill, but neither men are proven threats. Teaming Mostert with Gurley in the Atlanta system could make both Gurley and Mostert huge money going in the next season as FAs!
C)San Francisco – Listen, this guy was the reason you were in the Super Bowl last year, he carried the team throughout the playoffs! Give the man a raise! You just traded Matt Breida this off-season to Miami. So, you went from a three-headed monster down to a two-headed monster. Tevin Coleman can’t carry the load by himself, we figured that out his last year in Atlanta. They need him.

Buy! Buy! Buy! (Part 2)

Buy! Buy! Buy! (Part 2)
Chris Robin

Buy! Buy! Buy! Was very successful! Due to the success it warranted a sequel!

So much like the original Buy! Buy! Buy! article I wanted to get in on a list of players I’m buying without any hesitation! The 2020 NFL Draft class is loaded with offensive talent. We already know this. What about players already in the league that we should buy? This list also goes well with dynasty, keeper and re-draft leagues! Missed Buy! Buy! Buy!? Check it out here!

If you’re in any dynasty leagues there is no off-season! Lets get to it! Here is an in-depth list of players I’m buying in 2020! Keep in mind at this point I’m going to be mentioning ADP/value from the mock drafts I’ve been apart of.

Sam Darnold QB-New York Jets

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold

Do you remember this kids first ever pass in the NFL? Pick 6 on Monday Night Football in Detroit. He can only improve from that. All kidding aside Sam has legit talent! Last season Darnold had little to no help. As a life long Detroit Lions fan I get it. The Jets offensive line allowed 52 sacks. Le’Veon Bell only averaged 3.2 yards per carry and missed seven games due to injury. Looking ahead to 2020 Robby Anderson has left for Carolina but they did sign FA WR Breshard Perriman. The Jets also have the 11th overall selection in the 2020 draft. As I’ve said before I don’t have a crystal ball but I think it’s safe to say the Jets go stud WR at 11 with a complement of offensive lineman selections. Help is on the way Sam and I think it’s time buy into him as your QB! In recent mock drafts Darnold is sitting around a QB15 ADP. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Drew Lock QB-Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock

I’ll say it straight out, Lock’s ADP is through the rook right now. Just a classic class of all of us early mock drafters mixed with the residuals of what Drew did late last season. Kid has some real potential! Now mix in the likes of Melvin Gordon III and the massive hype train that is Courtland Sutton and emergence of tight-end Noah Fant I can see why people are very high on him. Let pump the breaks though in terms of his ADP. I truly do believe Lock is a buy but within reason. I assume most of you have played fantasy football for quite some time so I don’t need to explain value and ADP. All value goes out the window if he’s drafted too high. Be careful, be mindful and keep a look out for Drew Lock during you 2020 mocks. That way you’ll be able gauge value come draft day. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Justice Hill RB-Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill

I thought my opinion of Baltimore offensive regression wasn’t that well taken. As we continue closer to closer to draft day I’ve seen a lot of regression talk. Mark Ingram will be 31 years old during the 2020 season. Once again I’m planning ahead. Hill is my pick here. Before you rake me over the coals I know Justice only had 66 carries for 295 yards and 2 TD’s. Hill is fast and possess a skill set unlike the other backs on the Ravens roster. He has the wheels and pedigree to really shine in this offense given the chance. I also believe this is our chance to grab Hill at such a cheap price. God forbid Mark Ingram goes down with an injury Hill’s value would skyrocket! In my draft mocks so far Hill has been drafted as a RB38. I’m jumping all over him! Buy! Buy! Buy!

Jordan Howard RB-Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins RB Jordan Howard

The Dolphins signed Howard to a two year $10 million dollar contract. It immediately addresses their hole at running back. What does this mean for his fantasy value? Over the years fantasy players haven’t paid much attention to Howard. He’s now on his third team in five years. Doing the RB shuffle. Miami has the 5th overall selection in the 2020 Draft. The only reason I mention this is due to the tremendous implications it will have on Howards value. By all reports Miami is looking to grab a QB early. That would be good news for us Howard sympathizers. Without a doubt Miami will draft a running back somewhere in the 2020 Draft. Does this bury Jordan on the depth chart? Not a chance! His new $10 million dollar contract assures us of this. Another preemptive strike buy Howard now! Buy! Buy! Buy!

Preston Williams WR-Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins WR Preston Williams

Preston is getting a ton of love in fantasy circles right now! Most fantasy players are taking it to the extreme too! Sending out tweets and posts going all in for their love of him! In his eight appearances in 2019 Preston put up five double-digit PPR performances and averaged 7.5 targets a game. He also averaged 10 yards per reception in all but one game. Did you also know he was the Dolphins leading receiver until he was injured. Insert Davante Parker here! What I said about the Dolphins draft plans above still hold true here for Preston. When MIA drafts a QB 5th overall all their players should see a boost in value. When it comes to Williams I also firmly believe he retains a role and will blow away his current ADP. The time to buy Preston is now. He won’t cost you much seeing how he’s being drafted as a WR53 its an easy add! Buy! Buy! Buy!

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside WR-Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside

This one is quick and easy! 2020 is a make or break season for JJ. More specifically, the Eagles GM Howie Roseman said, “needs to take a huge jump” this season. I know a lot of Eagles fans so I’m going to tread lightly here. I wouldn’t normally mention a no-name bum wide receiver but I honestly do this Arcega-Whiteside takes the next step. It’s an odd circumstance for two reason. You can draft him for next to nothing now or even add him early into the 2020 season. The choice is yours. Just know once this picks up more steam you’ll be dealing with those fantasy players who overvalue their players. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Mercole Hardman WR-Kansas City

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mercole Hardman

I’ve always been open and honest with you. So why would I stop now? I have no feeling toward Hardman one way or another. So why am I bringing him up? Well personal opinions and/or feelings play a big role in fantasy sports. Back to the topic at hand, Mercole Hardman! He didn’t have a special rookie season. He actually only had 41 targets last season and played in less than 50% of the offensive snaps. Not a stellar way to tell you to buy him right? Well, Hardman has the quickness and speed to really get loose. Sammy Watkins restructured his contract to remain in KC. Tyreek Hill is an absolute stud WR. They’ve also resigned Demarcus Robinson . So again, it seems the odds aren’t in his favor. If you look at his current ADP, WR65+, he’s easily one of the biggest buys so far this off-season. Look for Hardman to absolutely destroy his ADP. Sell! Sell! Sell!

Parris Campbell WR-Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell

Few things at play here with Parris. Few things at play with the entire Colts offense. Indianapolis HC Frank Reich has high expectations for both Campbell and Pascal. What we need to be mindful of is what the Colts do in the draft and throughout free agency. The Colts look ready to make more moves to add to their offense. If they add another high-end WR then Parris and Pascal take huge hits. As it stands now Phil Rivers in their QB and we all know he’s aggressive. Let’s say the Colts go into the 2020 season as is. I would love to add Campbell. If T.Y. can stay healthy with Doyle at tight-end there is real potential. Just know there are a lot of moving parts! Just another preemptive move! It’s always great to get ahead of things! Buy! Buy! Buy!

Michael Gallup WR-Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup

2020 will be Gallup’s third season as pro! 2019 was quite good and I’m hoping he takes the next step this season! In 2019 Gallup was 8th in receptions of 20+ yards (18) and went over 100 receiving yards four times. What I enjoyed the most was his growth during the season. Gallup has started to come into his own. He really came on strong from weeks 10-17! Catching 48 passes from a possible 57 targets. Gallup also played in 86% of the Cowboys offensive snaps during that same time frame. I’m of the belief Gallup does take that next step in 2020. Only problem is he’s not that big of secret anymore. I think the time to buy is now. Slightly elevated but as low as his price is going to be! Buy! Buy! Buy!

Dawson Knox TE-Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox

The initial issue here is the addition of Stefon Diggs. I’m a glass half full kind of guy. An eternal optimist if you will. With Diggs now being in Buffalo they will be able to stretch the field more right? Maybe a tad less targets but this is good for Knox! Although Know did get much action his rookie year, 3.3 targets a game, the Bills are invested in him and his development. I’ve seen a low to moderate interest in Knox. I’m buying all the shares I can! If you miss out on the first tier of TE’s (Kelce, Kittle, Waller, Andrews) then wait it out! If you’re able to draft or acquire Knox late in a draft then that only extends his value! Buy! Buy! Buy!

T.J. Hockenson TE-Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions TE T.J. Hockenson

If I have to read another article or statement about how stud TE’s take a few seasons to develop I’m going to freak out! That being said, I do agree! Ha! Any way to slice it I believe TJ is destined for super stardom at the tight-end position. He flashed moments in 2019 but ultimately succumb to injuries and poor quarterback play. Look for Hock to take the next step in 2020. Matthew Stafford is fully healthy and will assume his role as a fixture on the Lions roster. If you missed it Sell! Sell! Sell! Part 1 did mention Stafford as a buy. I’m very much on board with buying TJ Hock too! Buy! Buy! Buy!

Noah Fant TE-Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant

I’ll be right up front and honest here. Why all the buzz about Fant? I will do my best to explain what I think is going on and how well taken all the positive reports about Noah are. His 2019 was very inconsistent. It was also his rookie season. To me, Fant has a very high ceiling and I’d be happy to own him. The Denver Broncos added Melvin Gordon III and Philip Lindsay is still there. Great running back play is huge to the development of TE’s. As Drew Lock and Fant grow and learn together the results could be beautiful! Nothing fancy here just get in on the ground floor here. Fant has the upside of a very well rounded TE2. At his current ADP that’s a steal!

Just wanted to mention how important ADP is when drafting these guy. Please mock as much as you can and if need be take notes and be aware of where these players are being drafted!

Sell! Sell! Sell! (Part 2)
Chris Robin

In lieu of Christian McCaffery’s new $16 million a year contract I thought it best do a second part of Sell! Sell! Sell! We’re going to have a little fun with this one! All decisions and sells are obviously up to. Just trying to get you thinking in another direction!

If you’re in any dynasty leagues there is no off-season! Lets get to it! Here is an in-depth list of MORE players I’m selling in 2020!

Selling off these players does not mean they are busts! These few players will no doubt contribute, I’d just like to flip them for various reasons.

Missed Sell! Sell! Sell! (Part 1) Here it is!

Lamar Jackson QB-Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

What didn’t Lamar do last season? Whoops, wait! Aside from winning the Super Bowl, he did everything else! How long do you think Lamar can keep this up? I’ve heard every argument in the book at this point. My favorite one is, “running QB’s don’t last long in the NFL!” Well, I tend to agree but lets look into this a bit shall we? NFL defenses are the fastest and most complex thing a young QB will see. So of course a running QB, like Lamar, can find some early success. What happens when the league catches up to him? NFL defensive players and their coaches are the best the sport has to offer. In certain cases like Michael Vick a running QB can have success. What if they don’t and end up like Robert Griffin III, Vince Young or Colin Kaepernick? I know at this point in his career it will be hard to trade him away but look ahead. See the big picture! Cash in now while Jackson and his value are at an all-time high! One nasty hit, twisted knee or ankle and his value plummets. Sell! Sell! Sell!

Carson Wentz QB-Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz

Where do I start? What I love about Wentz is the love him or hate him argument. From my experience with fantasy football whether it’s writing or having conversations with readers there is no in between. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s either one extreme or another! Which I love! Passion is something I will never make fun of. His stats are not bad at all. Actually quite well! 4,039 passing yards and 27 TD passes in 2019. Those are very solid numbers for a profession QB! What about your fantasy team? Statistically speaking Wentz had his second best season in 2019. That’s all well good but my issue is his health. Do you really want your, “QB1” as injury prone as Wentz. I know it’s a lazy half-assed argument but it holds true. If you’re willing to roll the dice on him week to week then who am I to stand in your way? Sell? Hold? Sell!

Christian McCaffery RB-Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffery
Photo courtesy of Adam Schefter Twitter

I mean c’mon! Right? He’s a MASSIVE sell now right! Let’s be honest here. CMC’s value will never ever be higher! Unless by week 3 he’s scored 10 touchdowns. This massive sell talk started yesterday after CMC quietly signed a huge extension with Carolina. I had many interactions on Twitter and Facebook with friends and readers but one stuck out the most to me. Plus it’s saved me all the work of droning on and on! Christian McIntosh said, “Problem is there is almost no price for him right now. He’s fantasy unicorn dust right now.” He went on to say, “I can’t give you Mahomes and Thomas, but would you take Thomas and Chubb? He also added, “Maybe, but some people would say no to that too! He is almost too valuable. It’s weird.” I think this perfectly sums up what it’s like owning and/or trying to trade for CMC right now! Thanks Christian!

Leonard Fournette RB-Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette

This one is odd. Leo has finally made it as a legit RB1 and I can see Jacksonville cutting him loose and starting fresh after the 2020 season. The Jaguars have already started to overhaul their roster. Just look! Jacksonville has cut down their cap by trading away Calais Campbell, A.J. Bouye and Nick Foles to name a few. In no way do I see them picking up his 5th year option in 2021. That option would be to give Fournette 10.2 million. No way! Not after what we’ve seen them do so far in 2020. Do I think they trade him ahead of the 2020 season? I highly doubt it BUT lets look into their 2020 draft! Jacksonville has three top-50 picks in this years draft. We already know this 2020 draft class in LOADED with offensive talent. How many of you think they draft a young RB stud? Saves them a ton of money allowing them to have options and wiggle room. Out with the old and in with the new. Right now Leonard has extremely high value! I’d look to move him now! What happens if Jacksonville drafts a young RB early and infuses that back into their 2020 regular season plans? What kind of attitude problem will that cause Leonard? There are so many options here and most of them are not in his favor. Sell! Sell! Sell!

Derrick Henry RB-Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry

The 2019 rushing champion! King Henry! Derricks outlook for the 2020 season is still quite good! Just cause I label these guys sell does not mean they are busts! I just wanted to reiterate that again. When it comes to Henry and the Titans they are in a good spot with cap space. It’s not as dire as it is in Jacksonville. However, aside from Dion Lewis Tennessee has no real depth at the RB position. Would it be wise for them to grab FA Devonta Freeman? Or address RB in their draft? Well sure but where does that leave Henry? If these moves do happen does that make Henry expendable? Absolutely! Much like fantasy value and selling high and buying low NFL GM’s think the same way. Coming off his best professional season Henry’s value has never been higher! Can he repeat in 2020? I think so! So where does that leave us? Depending your specific team needs I think you should definitely look into selling him. At worst, check his value and go from there! Sell! Sell! Sell!

Austin Ekeler RB-Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler

Wow! What a breakout season! Austin was an absolute stud in PPR leagues! He carried the ball 132 times for 557 yards and 3 TD’s. On the flip side he caught 93 passes for 993 yards and 8 TD’s! He receiving stats for a RB are absolutely phenomenal! Melvin Gordon III is now in Denver and your wish has come true! Ekler is now the featured back in LA! Be careful what you wish for! It’s now become that same tired old argument. Can EK sustain and produce now that he’s the RB1? Well, as his owner I’ll leave that up to you. If I may, just know that I don’t think EK’s value ever gets higher than it is now. So buy or sell! The option is yours! Who’s going to be the QB for the Chargers this season? Tyrod Taylor? I know I know the beer guy can be trained to handle Ekler the ball right? Sure but a huge portion of his value is tied to catching passes! Beware! Sell! Sell! Sell!

Mike Evans WR-Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans

Not sure if you know but Tom Brady is now the Tampa Bay quarterback. Shocking right? Do you know Evans has been in the NFL for six seasons and has put up a 1,000 yards receiving every single season? That’s pretty fantastic! His skill set is not questioned. Only thing that is making me nervous is the emergence of Godwin. I don’t find it to be a huge deal but with Brady at QB we all know he’s pretty good at spreading the wealth around. I can see a scenario where OJ Howard, Evans and Godwin can each gather 1,000 receiving yard season. That’s best case scenario. What if the distribution becomes lopsided? Godwin with 1,500 receiving yards and OJ with 1,200+ receiving yards? Leaving Evans under 1,000 yards for the first time in his career? I don’t have a crystal ball but I am planning ahead! Excitement in TB is all the talk! Use that to you advantage and sell Mike Evans! Sell! Sell! Sell!

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR-Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Juju Smith-Schuster

What a shame his 2019 season was. Where do we go from here? Did everyone’s worst fears come true? Without Antonio Brown coverage’s will be able to hone in on Juju! Or was it the horrible QB play? Well either way you slice it Juju had an awful season. Now what do we do? He’s still young and only 23! Big Ben is healthy and will no doubt be back! Pittsburgh is putting together one heck of a defense too! Do we sell or hold? I can see both viable options. Put some bait out in your league chat and gauge interest. If you can find one owner willing to over-pay then I’m selling in a heartbeat. Don’t over do it advertising Juju! Play it cool and see what your options are. Sell? Hold?

DeVante Parker WR-Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins WR Davante Parker

Parker was fantastic in 2019! A true breakout! I fully expect DeVante to have a fantastic 2020 season. My only question is, is this sustainable? Everything came together for Parker and it all went right for him in 2020! Ryan Fitzpatrick was his QB and he was an absolute target monster! A whopping 128 targets to be specific! Fitzpatrick is an aggressive QB and probably the best thing that could’ve happened to Parker last season. Miami has the 5th overall selection in the 2020 Draft. Surely they add a QB along with other offensive weapons. Let’s say MIA drafts Tua 5th overall, do you really think their in a position to let Tua sit and develop? Heck no! So now you own Parker with a rookie QB thrown to the wolves left to develop on the fly. Full disclosure, I own Parker and I’m looking to sell. As I said he had an outstanding 2019 season but no way he repeats in 2020. Sell! Sell! Sell!

Cooper Kupp WR-Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp

On social media I’ve seen a ton for love for Cooper. Or how much of a sneaky stud he is. Look, it’s not wrong! If you look a little deeper you’ll see what an up and down roller coaster of season it was for Kupp. He finally came to life against Cincinnati catching 7 passes for 220 yards and a TD. After that he scored a TD in his final five games. Again, is that just an over abundance of luck? Yes, I think so and I want no part of it in 2020. Cooks is gone. Gurley is gone. So Coop and Goff are left standing there helmet in hand. Oh wait, you can add Higbee in on the threesome. There is no clear offensive game plan in LA in 2020. Get out now! I’m asking you to find one of Kupp’s biggest fan boys and unload! Sell! Sell! Sell.
