Yesterday I had a lot of positive feedback on the defense-man one off segment! With the 14 team stacks given already I’d like to think I left no stone unturned. One off wingers or centers doesn’t seem that important.

Hot Pucking Stacks presents a NEW feature! One off DEFENSEMAN! If you’re like me I fill out my offensive roster first THEN double back to plug in defense. Normally I choose the cheapest D-man with the most ice team. Power play minutes is huge for me when choosing my defensive skaters! Enjoy the new segment!

Hot Pucking Stacks 2/28/20 (TWO free lineups)

Hello and welcome back to Hot Puck! Thanks for all the comments on the article and video yesterday! Hopefully you listen and took our advice!

Last night was fantastic! My Main line hit big at 216.5 points. The Minnesota Wild put a hurting on my Red Wings and we reaped the benefits! Take a look!

FD After Hours 2-28

Tonight is nice and easy, only five games! It’s Friday and the weekend is upon us. Lets keep this momentum going and carry it over for tonight!

Stefan Matteau L2
Pierre-Luc Dubois L2 & PP1
Nathan Gerbe L2 & PP1

Look, the Wild let it all hang out last night in Detroit. Winning 7-1 with a quick turnaround into Columbus tonight is a trap game! I’m not in the business of telling the future. It’s just a gut feeling! CBJ is too talented to continue this awful play. They will eventually get it right and it starts tonight at home vs. the Wild. CBJ wins 4-2 or 4-1.

Max Pacioretty L2 & PP1
William Karlsson L2 & PP2
Mark Stone L2 & PP1

Vegas is smoking right now riding a NOW seven game winning streak. The more I look into them the more impressed I become. They have put together some big talent and fantastic line combos! The Sabers come to Vegas and they are God awful on the road. That’s enough for me to stack this second line.

Bryan Rust L2 & PP1
Evgeni Malkin L2 & PP1
Patric Hornqvist L2 & PP1

The Penguins take on Anaheim in California tonight. The have currently lost four games in a row while the Ducks have lost 7 of their last 10. Anaheim is allowing 3.5 goals a game while PIT is 7-0 their last Friday games. Again, this is an odd stat but it really does help! PIT gets right tonight with a few power play goals. 4-2!

Gabriel Landeskog L1 & PP1
Nathan MacKinnon L1 & PP1
Valeri Michushkin L1 & PP2

What more can I say about the Avalanche? I’ll try! COL is in Carolina tonight and CAR has been playing so-so hockey having split their last 12. This is the most interesting game on the slate to me. If you’ve paid attention I love to stack CAR! Tonight my heart is with COL. CAR may be a little desperate tonight and that’s dangerous. Regradless, COL breaks through and wins 3-2 or 4-2. I have no issue stacking CAR 1 or 2 tonight either.

Scott Laughton L2
Kevin Hayes L2 & PP1
Travis Konecny L2 & PP1

The Rangers come Philly tonight and both teams are riding winning steaks! PHI 4 games and the NYR 5 games. These two teams go to war and it’s always hard to pick to a side. I’m stacking claim to PHI tonight! Why? I’ll tell you! Philly is favor at home and rightfully so! They have been lights out and are scoring 3.3 goals at home this season. NYR are on a back-to-back tonight and their young goalie Igor hasn’t been put in this position. Expect a ton of shots from PHI tonight and 3 or 4 go in!

Short and sweet today! Sometimes that’s the best way! No over-thinking and no tweaking your lines! Always go with your first instincts and trust your research!

FD Main 2-28

As you can see I have provided a sample line for MAIN and AFTER HOURS!

FD After Hours 2-28

Please play responsibility and know these lines are to be used for entertainment purposes!

Hang here and look for an update line closer to MAIN lock at 7p! Also After Hours lock at 10p!
