Did you think I forgot about you? Or woke up and said, “Nah, I don’t feel like writing today.”
Two things, first off I would never forget about you. Second, me not writing is like hockey with no ice. Would never happen!
Tonight’s NHL schedule is perfect. Its only four games. Quick and to the point!

Today is jam packed with sports action! NBA All-Star game! Daytona 500! Plus nine hockey games!
Fanduel has broken down the hockey schedule into five different slates.
12:30p All Day (9) 12:30p Early Only (4) 4p Afternoon Only (2) 6p Main (5) 7p After Hours (2)
Hang with me here and I will break down each slate. A few stacks I will be playing in each one along with a sample line for EACH slate!
Sorry to repeat myself but this article was born out of my never ending need for NHL content. FIVE FREE sample lines may be over doing it but that’s how much I believe in what were doing here at DFS cheat sheet!
If you haven’t heard it’s the NBA All-Star weekend! Meaning, people will flock to NHL DFS for a few days! Hockey DFS will take center stage for a few days!
Be careful with the contest you play this weekend. They will be watered down by others throwing darts and scrounging for easy money. If we continue on doing the work and playing smart it could be easy money for us!
The content doesn’t change and we have the advantage here among the masses coming over from NBA DFS! Slow and steady wins the race!
Tonight is a nice and smooth four game NHL schedule! It’s also Valentines Day! Make sure you get your lines in early and double check before heading out on your date! I wish you the best tonight and God’s speed!
The Penguins are on fire going 20-8 in their last 28 games! My play here and on this entire slate is to zig when others zag. The casual fan this weekend will flock to the PIT1 lines of the slate. Meaning, the non-DFS hockey players will just chose names without much research. Stack PIT2 with confidence tonight in Pittsburgh. 4-2 or a 5-3 final tonight.
COLUMBUS 1
Nick Foligno L1 & PP1 Oliver Bjorkstrand L1 & PP1 Pierre-Luc Dubois L1 & PP1
The Blue Jackets are home tonight to take on the New York Rangers. CBJ has won 7 of their last games vs. the Rangers. The Blue Jackets on average have scored 2.6 goals a game this season and as of late are scoring on 16.6% on the power play. Bjorkstrand leads the team in goals (18). While Pierre-Luc leads the team in assists (26). CBJ has been fantastic defensively recently too. Allowing 3 or less goals in their last 10. Columbus is due and I’m rolling out their top line which also doubles as their top power play unit! CBJ 4 NYR 2!
MONTREAL 2
Ilya Kovalchuk L2 & PP1 Nick Suzuki L1 & PP2 Joel Suzuki L2 & PP2
Sorry I’m not sorry but MTL2 has been my favorite as of late! MTL is 4-1 in their last 5 road games and skate into Pittsburgh playing well on the road. The over/under here sits at 6 goals. MTL has folded their last few games when a win would’ve been astronomical for their confidence. Again, we don’t care who wins. Just points and goals! The Penguins win but their able to score two or three times.
CAROLINA 1
Andrei Svechnikov L1 & PP1 Sebastian Aho L1 & PP1 Teuvo Teravainen L1 & PP1
Carolina has the home and rest advantage here tonight when the Devils come to town. Carolina has dominated the Devils going 14-4-4 the last 23 meetings. I love Carolinas first line due to the fact they all play on the first power play unit. Aho leads the team with 31 goals while Teravainen has the most assists (42). Look for more of the same tonight and the Hurricanes score 4 goals.
Kyle Connor L1 & PP1 Mark Scheifele L1 & PP1 Patrik Laine L1 & PP1
I’m going to lump both Jet lines together here. The Sharks are in Winnipeg tonight and on paper this one seems close. Both teams seemingly aren’t going anywhere but the Jets will have the edge tonight at home. San Jose is fading away and the Jets can get in gear and make a playoff push. No fancy stats tonight only the fact SJ is 9-19 their last 28 games overall. Mix and match both lines and feel great doing so!
Main 2-14
Here is a main line for tonight! Look for an updated line closer to lock. Please play safe and know this same line is for entertainment purposes.
Thank you for reading and have a fantastic Valentines Day! Be safe!

Little later then normal tonight but promise it’ll be worth it! Sometimes are real life get in the way of our fantasy lives!
Tonight is nice and easy! Four games and eight teams. Nice and easy. Right? Well there is a lot less to process after yesterdays 12 game slate.
Tonight we’re going to pay attention to detail. Power play percentages, shots on goal, home vs. road records and hits. Although hits don’t show up as points on a score sheet they play a huge role in time of possession. They cause turn over’s, which add up to scoring chances.
Attention to detail! It can lead to a slippery slope but a slop that leads to goals and fantasy points!
In the last 70 contests between the Stars and Wild the home team is 48-22. Dallas has struggled offensively as of late but they have a terrific defense. Only giving up 134 goals this season.
COLUMBUS 1
Nick Foligno L1 & PP2 Pierre-Luc Dubois L1 & PP1 Oliver Bjorkstrand L1 & PP1
The Blue Jackets leader in points is Pierre-Luc Dubois with 42. He’s also the team leader in assists with 25. Elvis Merzlikins, CBJ’s goalie has been outstanding this season. 11-6-4 with 4 total shutouts! The Wings are averaging 2.04 goals a game while giving up 3.81 goals. That’s a recipe for disaster. The Red Wings have lost to CBJ 4-2 in two straight. Look for more of the same. The over/under here is 5.5 and I could see the Blue Jackets doing that on their own! Blue Jackets put up 5 goals in this one. Line 1 and PP1, pick your poison!
NEW YORK 2
Artemi Panarin L2 & PP1 Filip Chytil L2 Jesper Fast L2
Buffalo has scored 2.83 goals a game this season while giving up 3.13. The Rangers have scored 3.29 goals a game while giving up 3.21 goals a game. That’s quite even for both sides. The Rangers have beaten the Sabers in 3 straight games. Want to know the average score? 5-1.67! New York has dominated Buffalo recently. NYR2 gets in on the fun and they win 5-2!
Toronto has scored on average 3.57 goals a game while their opponent tonight, Anaheim Ducks, give up 3.06 goals a game. The Maple Leafs have won the last 3 vs. the Ducks at an average of 5-2. Toronto at home vs. Anaheim who isn’t very good at home. 4-1 final in this one!
TORONTO 2
Alexander Kerfoot L2 John Tavares L2 & PP1 William Nylander L2 & PP1
See above! Promise I’m not lazy!
MINNESOTA 4
Ryan Donato L4 Mikko Koivu L4 Ryan Hartman L4
The Wild are in Dallas tonight and the Stars have given up 7 goals in their last two games! Minnesota is 48-22 in their last 70 meetings vs. the Stars. I don’t expect them to win but I do see 6 goals scored in this one tonight. 4-2 or a 4-3 final. Which would be just fine with me!

Here is a sample line and what my lines will be looking like tonight! Please play safely and know this line is just for fun! So take it easy!
Oh boy! Thirteen games on the schedule tonight! Plus an 8p express slate AND an after hours slate at 9p!
That’s enough to make our heads spin right? Don’t worry! Me and the team here at DFScheatsheets are here to help! I’ve been over this round of games with a fine toothed comb. From top to bottom, backwards and forward. Even left to right! Lets make a deal! It’ll make more sense as you read along!
There are many one off players that stick out but not one line that is grabbing my attention. Upon further review here is a list of line combinations that will put up the points needed to get us in the green!
MONTREAL 2
Ilya Kovalchuk L2 & PP2 Nick Suzuki L2 & PP1 Joel Armia L2 & PP2
The Canadiens are road favorites tonight in New Jersey. They have projected goal total of 3.2. Their second line is currently playing more minutes then their first line. MON2 is always in the thick of things and are dirt cheap!
CALGARY 2
Johnny Gaudreau L2 & PP1 Sean Monahan L2 & PP1 Buddy Robinson L2
The Flames are the favorites tonight at home vs. the Sharks. Calgarys first line and second line are basically interchangeable. Both lines see about the same minutes. With their 3.2 implied goal total tonight I like Flames for 2 goals on the power play.
WASHINGTON 1
Alex Ovechkin L1 & PP1 Nicklas Backstrom L1 & PP1 Tom Wilson L1 & PP2
The Caps first line is the big money stack of the night. It’s like Let’s Make a Deal between WSH1 or TB1. Big Deal of the day! Hopefully that joke picks up some steam as the day unfolds. Alex and Nicklas are stone cold studs on the power play. Washington is a home favorite tonight vs. the Kings and have a 3.5 implied goal tonight. This line is expensive and will be well worth it tonight. Look for the Caps to go bonkers on the power play this evening.
NASHVILLE 2
Filip Forsberg L2 & PP2 Kyle Turris L2 & PP2 Viktor Arvidsson L2 & PP1
The game in Winnipeg tonight is a toss up. Whoever wins isn’t really the important stat were looking for. The goals scored is what were interested in. Both teams sit at around 3.1-3.3 implied goal totals. That’s what I find most interesting! Look for a fast paced hard fought game with a ton of shots.
COLUMBUS 1
Nick Foligno L1 & PP2 Pierre-Luc Dubois L1 & PP1 Oliver Bjorkstrand L1 & PP1
This Blue Jackets team just doesn’t stop! They keep coming and coming! They are slight favorites at home vs. the Florida Panthers. CBJ also has a 3.3 projected goal total. With their top line being the heart and soul I’m going to push the total goals scored to 4. All three skaters are cheap and their upside is through the roof! They fit nicely with any other stack you choose tonight!
TAMPA BAY 1
Steven Stamkos L1 & PP1 Brayden Point L1 & PP1 Nikita Kucherov L1 & PP1
Lets Make a Deal! TB1 or WSH1 tonight? One will be the big deal of the day! Tampa’s first line is one of the best in hockey. They are also priced as such. I feel the Caps have an easier time on the ice tonight. If you’re like me, you’ll make two separate lines. One with TB1 and another one with WSH1.
NEW YORK ISLANDERS PP1
Anders Lee PP1 & L1 Brock Nelson PP1 & L2 Jordan Eberle PP1 & L1 Mathew Barzal PP1 & L1 Devon Toews (defense) PP1 & L2
I happened to stumble upon the Islanders first power play unit moments before I started writing this article. What stuck out to me is their price and production. Not to mention playing against the Dallas Stars at home. Who have given up the most goals in the NHL to date. NYI PP1 is sneaky yet smart play!
TB1
Here are a few sample lines I’ve been toying with. As usual, these sample lines are for fun! Please play responsible!
WSH1/CBJ1
