Atlanta Falcons 2020 mock draft https://twitter.com/bennieboy26
As we get closer and closer to the April Draft, mocks will change 100 times. The Atlanta Falcons have already made some noise this Offseason by cutting key players(Freeman, Trufant) from their Superbowl run a few seasons ago. Signing Edge Rusher Donte Fowler to a 3 year deal and Running back Todd Gurley to a 1 year deal. But let’s talk the NFL Draft. Atlanta sits at pick 16 with 4 picks in the first 3 rounds, so let’s get into it.
Round 1 #16

Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina
After the Fowler signing ATL doesn’t have to address the edge rusher with their first pick. Kinlaw is a force upfront and having him next to Grady Jarrett spells travesty in the making for QB’s and Running backs.
Another choice at the option should Atlanta choose. CB C.J Henderson, Atlanta released long time Corner Desmond Trufant opening up a hole in their already weak Secondary. CJ has good size coming in at 6’1 200 pounds.
Every draft has a player that slips and this year could it be Auburn DT Derek Brown?? If Brown falls pass Carolina at 9 I would fully expect Atlanta to trade up to grab him.
Round 2 #47

A.J Terrell CB Clemson
Atlanta currently has a secondary full of young inexperienced corners but none of which have the resume that AJ Terrell has coming out of Clemson.

#78 Jon Greenard LB Florida
Even with the Fowler signing Atlanta still needs help getting to the passer and Jon Greenard can absolutely do that recording 9.5 sacks last season while fighting a ankle injury all season for the Gators.
Round 3 #119

Thaddeus Moss TE LSU
If the name sounds familiar it should! Thaddeus is the son of NFL Hall of Famer WR Randy Moss! Even though Atlanta traded for Hayden Hurst and filling the hole Left by Austin Hooper. Atlanta should still look at grabbing Moss because Hurst has never played a full NFL season.
Round 4 #143

John Simpson OL Clemson
After Atlanta took back to back picks in last years draft on offensive line you’d think they would be fine with offensive line, but you would be incorrect.
Round 7 #228

DeeJay Dallas RB Miami
Even with the Gurley signing you can’t fully expect him to play all 17 games at a high level and healthy. Dallas gives Atlanta a change of style back and somebody who’s completely capable of catching the ball out of the backfield.
