NBA VALUE STREET
JANUARY 24th, 2020
BY DYLAN THOMPSON

Yo! What’s going on #MoneyTeam!!!! Last night was another great night for us, and the values hit. Today’s a monster 11 game slate, and once again the value is there, so let’s get to finding it.

Last nights results

Levert 6x
Nance 9.7x
Prince 7.1x
Garland 3.9x

Point Guard

Jeff Teague

As long as Young sits, I love this matchup. In his last start against the Clippers, it was a dud performance. To me this is the perfect spot to get back on track. I’m projecting him to be low owned, and at a price of $4400 this could be a take down spot. We have seen Teague in the past light teams up, and I think we see it here again tonight. Fantasy production has been all over the place recently, but that doesn’t concern me here. Like I said, if Young sits again, lock this man in!

Shooting Guard

Kevin Huerter

This will be a pace down game for the Hawks, but I don’t see this effecting Huerter as much as it would other players. At a price tag of $4900, we need 24 for value, and that shouldn’t be a problem with this young man. Even though this isn’t a smash spot for him, we know that when this young man gets hot, he has a ceiling of 11X. OKC isn’t ranked 11th against the position, but if Huerter comes off the bench, that rank goes right out the window.

Shooting Guard

Marcus Smart

– With Kanter, and Tatum our and possibly Brown, the usage will go to Smart, and Kemba. His price tag is $5800, but we know he can pay that off. In 4 out of the last 6 games he has Been able to return us at least 5.5 times value. As long as two out of the three players that I mentioned are ruled out which I assume they will be, I will be locking smart into my lineup.

Power Forward

Eric Paschall

We all know how bigs have been smashing Indiana all season long, and tonight should remain the same. Paschall has been able to return at least 5.13X in 5 out of his last 7 appearances. His price comes in at $4000, and he is averaging 23.3 ffpg on the season. On paper, the Pacers look good defensively, but I see Paschall smashing again tonight. The boards will be up for grabs tonight, and Paschall is the man to grab them.

Center

Tacko Fall

With Kanter ruled out, Fall should see an extended run in minutes tonight. Even though we do not have a huge sample size to go off of for this young man, Boston has high hopes for him and so do I. At a bare minimum price tag of $3500 all we need we’re value is 17 fantasy points. He will be facing and Orlando team that has stepped up their game at the center position, so he will have to prove himself tonight. The three-game sample size we do have does show hope, as he has proven already to be a fantasy points per minute monster, scoring a whopping almost 2 fantasy points per minute.
