Tonight’s slate is a small one with just 2 games on deck, Pacers vs Buck and Thunder vs Blazers. What I’ll be doing in this article is giving you 5 GPP core options to pivot off of the chalk plays of the day. Today’s article will cater more to FanDuel.
PG Chalk: Russell Westbrook Pivot: Cory Joseph
Westbrook is always very highly owned but tonight with just two games he will be around 70-80% owned in tournaments and Lillard being the other guy highly owned as well. I like Cory Joseph to bring some decent value and to be around 8-10% owned. His price tag is just 4,000 on FanDuel and has had some really decent games of late. (26,41,22, and 12) His last game he only total 12 points so many will be off him. I like him for around 24 tonight. Even if the game gets out of hand vs the Bucks he is blow out proof and that actually plays even more into his favor.
SG Chalk: CJ McCollum Pivot: Dennis Schroder
Yes Paul George is back! And yes Schroder is back to the bench! So what! Schroder still avgs about 6X value on a nightly basis. He should get his fair share of minutes at around 20-22 minutes and should get you around 26 points. He’s 5800 on FanDuel so that’s about 4.5 value. On a normal night I may have passed on Dennis the menance but with so many small pickings and McCollum being 8K on FanDuel I definitely think he’s a decent pivot.
SF Chalk: Giannis  Antetokounmpo Pivot: Paul George
Look normally I try to get you cheap guys that will keep you in the hunt of a GPP. Low owned guys, and guys who everyone isn’t talking about. In this case I’m not sure. See Antetokounmpo is the chalk for sure tonight vs the Pacers. I see him about 65% owned and he’s $12500 on FanDuel. People will jump to this cause there is nobody on that team who can remotely guard him but then there’s PG13 (Paul George) facing the Blazers who he dropped 80 fantasy points on the last time the played! This is  just his 2nd game coming back from injury this may scare some people off. He’s $11000 $1500 cheaper than the Greek Freak and I think he will be closer to 40% owned. I definitely think PG13 is a good but expensive pivot.
PF Chalk: Thaddeus Young  Pivot: Jerami Grant
Slim pickings at PF tonight with Thad Young being the top guy for just $6600. Normally I’d love him in a bigger slate vs the Bucks but since he will be over 50% owned I like Jerami Grant for $5600 and about 30% owned (Yes that’s still pretty high). He had 26 fantasy points against them back on 01/22. He played 33 minutes. I expect about the same minutes but about 28-31 fantasy points this go around.
C Chalk: Jusuf Nurkic  Pivot: Brook Lopez
Nurkic will be around 56% owned tonight with Myles Turner close behind. So upon digging through stats I found one of my favorite Centers in fantasy. Brook Lopez. Yep Brook Lopez. Shoots the 3 well, gets blocks, rebounds well, and plays with a star in Antetokounmpo so he is over looked nightly. Plays a little over 30 minutes and can get you 30 if need be. I like him to hit around 32 fantasy tonight vs the Pacers. He should only be around 25% owned at most.
*Wesely Matthews and Rodney Hood are also good pivots tonight as well.
