I hope you all had a prosperous weekend and got to see some of those March Madness Dandies. Today’s 4 game slate should be interesting, Let’s take a closer look.
PG-Damian Lillard – Since McCollum’s injury Lillard has been the man in charge. He has only dropped below 35 minutes 1 time and is filling up the stat sheets nicely with 57.7fppg. Amazing! His opponent struggles (20th) vs PG’s and I look for Dame to capitalize on this. This game has potential to be a shootout if both sides are feeling their jumpers! Im excited to see how this one turns out.
SG- Delon Wright – Wright has solidified his role on a team that has seen a lot of injury and more than its fair share of trades. Over his last 7 he has certainly seen an uptick in minutes(31.1mpg) and has seen his production take a bump in the right direction as well. The same could be said with the guy on the opposite side of the ball with Dennis Schroder. Both plays are intriguing and we could easily see a repeat from Schroder who dropped 47fpts in their last meeting.
SF-Demare Carroll – I like Carroll in this spot today because he is often overlooked and there just might be enough attention elsewhere to warrant this judgement. He will see a D that ranks 26th vs the SF position and gives up the 4th most turnovers in the league. Carroll should be able to sneak in a few extra boards and steals to go along with his 29.6mpg & 24.6fppg he has seen over his last 3.
PF-Paul George – PG has only seen a cheaper price tag twice in the past month and a half on DK. I thought maybe it was a mistake and will be all over this as he faces a team ranked 22nd vs The F position. On the season he has averaged over 37 minutes per game and a solid 51 fantasy points per contest.
C-Jonas Valincunas – My guy Val is in another good spot this evening. He will see the fast paced thunder come to town. They aren’t exactly known for their defensive prowess vs the C position (13th). In his last 4 games he has seen a bump in usage(32.3%) reb%(24.8%) and assist%(14.2%). His PPM has gone up on both sites as well with 1.48FPPM on FD and 1.54FPPM on DK. This should be a close game and a high scoring affair, which may be worth a games stack.
Let’s get past this case of the Monday’s with a couple extra bucks in our pocket!
