When we have days like yesterday we must shake it off and keep pushing forward, it’s a long season. Lets get right into tomorrows slate.
P- Jack Flaherty – In 75 at bats vs the Brewers, Flaherty has maintained an ERA of .160. Just under half of these are stike outs (32) with only 10 BB’S. Results from his last matchup: 6IP, 3H, 3BB, 7SO 1W
1 Q Start.
2B-David Freese – Last September Freese took Robbie Ray deep to complete a 4 run defecit. Freese has a .491wOBA vs the lefty. 3 of his 4 hits have been of the extra base variety. I look for Freese to pick up where he left off.
SS- Andrelton Simmons – The Angles got off to a rocky start in today’s loss to the A’s. They are looking to bounce back and Simmons is an intricate part of making this happen. He is 6-15(.400) vs the Righty Estrada. You wont be getting big HR power, but solid base hitting. Simmons has hit a double and a triple (.462wOBA) with a pair of walks.
OF-Tommy Pham – Batting .583 vs Cole, Tommy Pham is one of the few guys that consistently does well vs the right handed ace. He is 7-12 with 2 doubles and a HR. Skyhigh in both wOBA (.675) & ISO (.417) hee is ahead of thsee curve. Literally! Pham has also never struck out vs Cole.
OF- Mike Trout – We all know that we musn’t underestimate Trout. He may give uzs a goose egg on one day and then send 3 to the moon the following evening. This could very well happen vs Estrada. 2 of his 4 hits have been Home Runs with a trio of RBI’s. His wOBA
(.480) and ISO (.462) arent career highs, but Trout is the enigma in red.
Lets get it rolling today and never look back!
