MLB 2019 Team Stacks Preview

Can the Red Sox bring another World Series Championship back to Boston? The road to October will not be easy for Mookie and company. The Yankees are an even bigger threat this year after adding the likes of James Paxton and Adam Ottavino to an already stacked Starting Rotation and Bullpen. Coming off back to back World Series appearances the Dodgers still look to be the team to beat in the National League. While teams like the Cardinals and Phillies look to be much improved with their additions of Paul Goldschmidt and Bryce Harper. With so many roster shake ups and big time free agency signings, let’s take a look and see which teams and lineups you should be targeting this year in DFS.

Houston Astros:
Projected Lineup

1)George Springer
2)Alex Bergman
3)Jose Altuve
4)Carlos Correa
5)Yuli Gurriel
6)Michael Brantley
7)Tyler White
8)Josh Reddick
9)Robinson Chirinos

Easy Out? Not the case here when you’re dealing with baseballs new Murderers Row. The 1-5 packs a punch like no other team in baseball. The bats of Tyler White and newest addition Michael Brantley give the lower part of this lineup some added thump as well.

Boston Redsox:
Projected Lineup

1)Andrew Benintendi
2)Mookie Betts
3)JD Martinez
4)Xander Bogaerts
5)Mitch Moreland
6)Rafael Devers
7)Eduardo Nuñez
8)Jackie Bradley Jr
9)Christian Vasquez

Not much has changed here for Boston, But What more can you ask for when your 2&3 hitters are last years MVP and undoubtedly the best hitter in baseball? The Red Sox look to dominate this season much like they did in nearly every major offensive category in 2018.

Philadelphia Phillies:
Projected Lineup

1)Andrew McCutchen
2)Jean Segura
3)Bryce Harper
4)Rhys Hoskins
5)JT Realmuto
6)Maikel Franco
7)Oduble Herrera
8)Cesar Hernandez

“In West Philadelphia born and raised, see the Phillies were always one of my favorite plays.” A little corny I know….but look, over the years Phillies Lineup was always a source of value when constructing most of my lineups. And in DFS you’re going to need Value if you want to pay up for the studs. This year it seems like they may be one of the top offenses to stack. The Additions Of McCutchen,Segura,Realmuto And Mr.330 Million(Bryce Harper) make this lineup a threat to the NL East and Hopefully a threat to the DFS world when stacked correctly.

New York Yankees:
Projected Lineup

1)Brett Gardner
2)Aaron Judge
3)Aaron Hicks
4)Giancarlo Stanton
5)Gary Sanchez
6)Miguel Andujar
7)Gleyber Torres
8)Luke Voit
9)Troy Tulowitzki

The Yankees lead all of Major League Baseball in 2018 with 267 Homeruns and were runners up in Runs scored with 851. In DFS, the longball is a surefire way to find yourself atop the leaderboard and when you have a team like the Yankees who have 6 players projected to hit 20 Plus homeruns. Not to mention the likes of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton who will casually flirt with the 40-50 Range? This team just screams money to me.
