Hot Pucking Stacks

Hockey is back and I couldn’t be more excited! We kicked off our DFS lines with a bang yesterday! The Hot Pucking Stacks sample Main and Express lines did very well! Main finished with 190.4 points. While Hot Puck Express finished over 200 points, 202.4 to be exact! That was yesterday though!

We could all argue Sundays are better loaded with sports. We could also argue Sunday is the best day of the week. However you see it we’re loaded with playoff hockey!

FANDUEL                                     DRAFTKINGS
Early Only (2) 2p EST                  Main (2) 2p EST
All Day (5) 2p                               Late (3) 6:30p
Main (3) 6:30p
After Hours (2) 8p

ARZ (2.5) @ NSH (2.8)
PHI (2.6) @ BOS (2.8)
STL (2.7) @ COL (2.8)
CBJ (2.8) @ TOR (3.1)
MIN (2.8) @ VAN (2.8)

Two things stand out to me today. Toronto (3.1) and Colorado (2.8). Should be no surprise that the Maple Leafs are heavy chalk today! Which is fine! Lets run with that and look into other stacks to compliment TOR.

I could also see a case to stack Vancouver (2.8) and Colorado (2.8).

TORONTO 1

Toronto Maple Leafs

Auston Matthew L1 & PP1
William Nylander L1 & PP1
Zach Nyman L1 & PP1

I fully expect Toronto to steam roll the Blue Jackets in this series. CBJ was crumbling and loaded with injuries. Fast forward to now and they don’t do well in an underdog roll. Like 1-7 their last 8 as the underdog.

TORONTO 2

Toronto Maple Leafs

John Tavares L2 & PP1
Mitch Marner L2 & PP1
Ilya Mikheyev L2

ARIZONA 2

Arizona Coyotes

Nick Schmaltz L2 & PP2
Phil Kessel L2 & PP1
Carl Soderberg L2 & PP2

The extended time off helped Arizona big time. Time to let their goalies get healthy. ARZ never really lit the ice on fire during the regular season but now it’s the playoff and anyone can sneak away with a win and three goals. ARZ 2 is a fantastic way to compliment to TOR1 or COL1 today!

VANCOUVER 2

Vancouver Canucks

Elias Pettersson L2 & PP1
JT Miller L2 & PP1
Tyler Toffoli L2 & PP1

Not much to say here about VAN, during the regular season they were a main-stay in Hot Puck due in part to their cheap prices and steady point streams. I find VAN to be risky tonight. Their defense is suspect and leaky. Perfect transition to mention…

MINNESOTA 1

Minnesota Wild

Eric Staal L1 & PP1
Kevin Fiala L1 & PP1
Jordan Greenway L1

The Wild are very well balanced and their price is perfect! I find the Wild to be phenomenal value today vs. a leaky VAN defense! Go! Go! Go!

COLORADO 1

Colorado Avalanche

Nathan Mackinnon L1 & PP1
Mikko Rantanen L1 & PP1
Andre Burakovsky L1 & PP2

This one is odd to me today. COL1 and even COL2 were a stack stack stack during the regular season. Now it’s August and their matched up with the Blues. St. Louis looked like they recaptured that Stanley Cup magic from last season. I find this odd because I fully expect the masses to roll with STL today. Does that mean COL1 will be under owned? Not chalk? If I’m right and that’s the case then I’m ALL IN on the Avalanche today!

COLUMBUS 2

Columbus Blue Jackets

Boone Jenner L2 & PP2
Cam Atkinson L2 & PP1
Gustav Nyquist L2 & PP1

Only reason I mention CBJ2 today is the ole Kansas City shuffle. Zig when other zag. When people are looking left we go right. Realistically I don’t think anybody will be on CBJ today. Let also be honest here, TOR is going to score, a lot. Columbus will have no other option but to keep pace. Let’s zig today friends!
