Hot Pucking Stacks

Now we’re on to something! We’ve seen a few games in the first round and the scoring is starting to take shape!

I rarely brag or boast. It’s not my style. Not to mention Hot Puck is a daily fantasy article. Yesterday is over and is no good to us today. Or is it? We’re able to use past performances to set up and judge how my stacks will play out daily.

The New York Islanders second line did very well last night but again, its no good to us today. As a fantasy sports writer I find it imperative to show full transparency. Results are the name of the game! Thursday is set up nicely and are all second games in the first round.

Lets dig in shall we?

CBJ (2.3) @ TB (2.8)
CHI (2.8) @ LVK (3.3)
CAR (2.5) @ BOS (2.8)
CGY (2.6) @ DAL (2.6)

FANDUEL                                        DRAFTKINGS

Main (4) 3p EST                              Main (4) 3p EST
After Hours (2) 8p                          Late (2) 8p

CAROLINA 1

Sebastian Aho L1 & PP1
Teuvo Teravainen L1 & PP1
Andrei Svchnikov L1 & PP1

CAROLINA 3

Carolina Hurricanes

Vincent Trocheck L3 & PP1
Nino Niederreiter L3 & PP2
Ryan Dzingel L3 & PP2

Carolina played so-so against Boston last time out and lost in double overtime. I fully expect BOTH of Carolinas top lines to be on fire tonight! The time to stack is NOW!

CALGARY 1

Calgary Flames

Sean Monahan L1 & PP1
Johnny Gaudreau L1 & PP1
Elias Lindholm L1 & PP1

Calgary beat Dallas 3-2 last time out. It’s shocking to think CGY is a 6th seed while DAL is a 3rd seed. Calgary looks faster and hungrier. I’m going back to CGY1 tonight and not thinking twice!

LAS VEGAS 1

Las Vegas Golden Knights

William Karlsson L1 & PP1
Max Pacioretty L1 & PP1
Mark Stone L1 & PP1

LAS VEGAS 2

Las Vegas Golden Knights

Paul Stastny L2 & PP1
Jonathon Marchessault L2 & PP1
Reilly Smith L2 & PP2

After the CBJ @ TB 5OT contest Tuesday we were forced to edit and either stack Vegas or Chicago. Hot Puck that night was high on the Vegas skaters and it paid off. They scored four goals. Without hesitation I’m stacking the Golden Knights again. They are huge favorites (65.5%) and -190 tonight if that means anything. To me, its just a blinking neon light flashing, “STACK ME STACK ME!”

BOSTON 2

Boston Bruins

David Krejci L2 & PP2
Jake DeBrusk L2 & PP1
Ondrej Kase L2

Boston scored four goals yesterday v Carolina and I have this odd feeling the Hurricanes come out on fire tonight. Boston is loaded as well and I just don’t see them weathering the storm tonight (pun intended).

COLUMBUS 2

Columbus Blue Jackets

Alexander Wennberg L2
Alexandre Texier L2 & PP1
Cam Atkinson L2 & PP1

Where do we begin? Five overtimes were played Tuesday v Tampa Bay. In turn people may fade this game due to exhaustion. Any thing is possible but I watched every minute of the game. CBJ was skating well and their second line kept putting themselves in a position to score. Screening the goalie and tipping pucks to name a few. Tampa doesn’t have a long track record of success in the playoffs recently. Tamp Bay will be flat tonight while CBJ puts it on them. Roll with CBJ2 tonight! Even mix and match some of their first line and PP1.

CHICAGO 2

Chicago Blackhawk’s winger Patrick Kane

Kirby Dach L2 & PP1
Patrick Kane L2 & PP1
Alex DeBrincat L2 & PP2

CHI2 is just a filler piece tonight. Las Vegas will be flying and it’ll force CHI to keep pace. Nothing more nothing less!

Make sure to keep an eye out for an updated line closer to lock! 3p EST!
