Hot Pucking Stacks

Nothing snarky to say here! Only five games on the NHL schedule this evening. Toronto and Edmonton will be big time chalk tonight. Look for some value in DET1, CAR2 and even FLA2.

Carolina Hurricanes 2

Carolina Hurricanes

Vincent Trocheck L2 & PP1
Martin Necas L2 & PP2

The Carolina Hurricanes have scored around 3.40 goals a game. While defensively the Hurricanes are allowing about 2.80 goals per game. However, tonight they welcome in the Florida Panthers. The Panther offense has been above average scoring 3.05 goals a contest. The most important thing here is the Florida defense. The Panthers are only allowing 2.90 goals a game. So why would we target such a stout defense? Carolina is hotter than a pickled pepper patch. They absolutely crushed Columbus last time out. Scoring seven goals.

Toronto Maple Leafs 1

Toronto Maple Leafs

Joe Thornton L1 & PP1
Auston Matthews L1 & PP1
Mitch Marner L1 & PP1

Toronto is playing Ottawa at home tonight. Dare I go on? The Maple Leafs are scoring a healthy 3.60 goals a game. While their power play has been successful around 35% of the time. TOR1 will also get us massive exposure to their top power play unit. I could make a case for the Senators first power play unit as well seeing how Toronto is only killing of about 65% of their penalties this season.

Edmonton Oilers 2

Edmonton Oilers

Dominik Kahun L2
Leon Draisaitl L2 & PP1
Kailer Yamamoto L2

Edmonton is scoring on average 3.50 goals per game while allowing around of 3.40 goals a game. Edmonton is one of the better teams in the NHL having won six of their last eight games. While Winnipeg has lost four of their last five. Edmonton should roll the Jets tonight. Final score 6-2 or even 5-1.

Detroit Red Wings 1

Detroit Red Wings

Filip Zadina L1 & PP1
Dylan Larkin L1 & PP1
Mathias Brome L1 & PP2

The Red Wings have been awful this season. They are only averaging 2.06 goals a game. So why stack DET1 tonight? They are cheap. They are at home. They hate the Blackhawks. Sometimes it is that easy! Enjoy!

The Core Four idea has been received well! Let us keep that going!
