Hot Pucking Stacks

Rest and relaxation! Two action words rarely used now-a-days. Everybody is going nonstop. Everybody is also only thinking about themselves. With no disregard for others. To be straight forward, most people do not care. Hurting others along the way with no regard for their actions. It is awful yet extremely sad.

There is this attitude across social media about being positive and supportive. Yet everywhere we turn there are lies and deceit. Remember the ole adage, “one bad apple spoils the bunch”? That applies in this setting very well. Be careful who trust. Be careful who you help. Those same people will come around and use your neck as a rung on their ladder.

Let us not end todays hockey content on a bad note. Todays NHL action is jam packed! Thirteen games starting at starting at 7p EST. Below are six very solid team stacks that should get your lines going!

Buffalo Sabres 1

Buffalo’s captain Jack Eichel

Taylor Hall L1 & PP1
Jack Eichel L1 & PP1
Sam Reinhart L1 & PP1

Buffalo’s captain, Jack Eichel is leading the team in assists and is seventh in points with seven. Buffalo is scoring an average of 2.90 goals per game and allowing an average of 3.00 goals per game. The Sabers are scoring 27.3% of the time on the power play. As you can see BUF1 is also a massive part of the team power play.

Columbus Blue Jacks 2

Columbus Blue Jackets

Boone Jenner L2 & PP1
Alexandre Texier L2 & PP2
Oliver Bjorkstrand L2 & PP1

The Columbus Blue Jackets have upped their scoring to 2.50 goals per game. The power play for the Blue Jackets has converted at a clip of only 7.7% on the year. Defensively Columbus is coming in giving up 3 goals per game. CBJ hosts the Florida Panthers tonight who are scoring FIVE goals a game on average! Florida is also scoring on their power play about 37.5% on the year. So, in turn I love the Panthers power play 1 tonight! Here is the line!

Florida Panthers Power Play 1

Florida Panthers

Patric Hornqvist PP1 & L2
Aleksander Barkov PP1 & L1
Jonathan Huberdeau PP1 & L2
Aaron Ekblad (D) PP1 & L1
Keith Yandle (D) PP1 & L3

Arizona Coyotes 1

Arizona Coyotes

Drake Caggiula L1
Nick Schmaltz L1 & PP1
Conor Garland L1 & PP1

With a slate so packed we need to find value and cheaper plays! ARZ1 is just that! Playing at home vs a defensively challenged Anaheim team. Arizona is scoring about 2.83 goals per game and their power play conversion rate is at 20.8% this season. Last time out ARZ lost to an exceptionally talented Vegas Golden Knights team 1-0. I’m not a big moral victory guy but if those do exist then ARZ should be good and ready tonight at home vs an Anaheim team only scoring 2.33 goals a game.

New York Rangers 1

New York Rangers

Chris Kreider L1 & PP1
Mika Zibanejad L1 & PP1
Alexis Lafreniere L1 & PP2

New York is scoring an average of 2.60 goals per game and allowing an average of 2.80 goals per game. The Rangers are scoring 17.4% of the time on the power play and as you can see above their first line also has two key components of their PP1. If you wanted just a one off from this game, then it must be Artemi Panarin. He is leading the Rangers in goals, assists, and points with two goals, four assists and six points. Panarin would be a great addition to our NYR stacks tonight. Used more effectively with the NYR first power play unit.

Artemi Panarin L2 & PP1

Toronto Maple Leaf 2

Toronto Maple Leafs

William Nylander L2 & PP2
John Tavares L2 & PP2
Zach Hyman L2 & PP1

The Maple Leaf’s have been getting a ton of shots in on goal and are playing some very disciplined hockey. Low penalty kill numbers mixed with all these shots makes them an incredibly attractive play tonight in Calgary.

Nashville Predators 2

Nashville Predators

Mikael Granlund L2 & PP2
Matt Duchene L2 & PP1
Luke Kunin L2

Another cheap yet explosive line, NSH2, the Predators host the Chicago Blackhawks. The Predators have dipped to 2.40 goals per game scored. On Defense the Preds have allowed 3.40 goals per game. Which the Blackhawks have been awful on defense. Allowing 3.83 goals a game on average this season. I find this game to be a mismatch in Nashville’s favor. NSH2 is cheap enough to fit in our lines with the higher end chalk!

Here are some sample lines I am going to be using. Keep in mind these are for entertainment purposes only.
