NBA Value Street – 8/4/20

NBA Value Street

Good morning Money Team. If you guys haven’t been reading my articles, you are missing out. Here’s my results from yesterday

Aaron Holiday 6.1X
J. Richardson 6.4X
T. Bryant 6.9X
And my hurricane pick AD went off for 73 fantasy points and a 7.9X return

Let’s dig in today

PG Eric Bledsoe – We are currently unclear about how many minutes Bledsoe will play tonight, due to him getting to the Orlando bubble late. His price tag is only $4700 and that’s why I am mentioning him in this article. Brooklyn is ranked 22nd in the league guarding against the point guard position, and if Bledsoe plays at least 22 to 24 minutes, he can absolutely crush this price tag.

SG D. Wright – Our guy here just put up a 5.1 X return against the Phoenix Suns. It was a game that stayed close, so everyone played their regular allotment of minutes. This game against Sacramento could get out of hand very quickly, and if that is the case we should see our guy put up some extended run. His price tag is only $3800, and I am projecting him tonight for at least a 5.5 X return. Sacramento is ranked 22nd in DvP, which is what I like to target.

SF J Holiday – playing against in Orlando team tonight that is still trying to find their groove, Holiday is in a perfect bounce back spot tonight from his less than stellar performance last night. His price tag is also $3800, and Orlando’s second unit is ranked pretty low when it comes to DvP. Realistically if this game gets out of hand I could see Holiday putting up at least a 6.5 X return for us tonight.

PF Robert Covington – I understand his price tag is $6800, but in my opinion he’s facing a Portland team that is dead last in DvP. In his last two games, he has played 37 and 42 minutes, which is why he is being mentioned here in this article. We know he can put up the fantasy production, and has major upside. Since the return of the NBA in the last two games he is averaging 43 fantasy points per game. Lock him in and Move on.

C Ivica Zubac – I am still waiting for his breakout return game, and I think tonight could be the time to target him. There are plenty of centers to pay up for tonight, But I think this might be a position that I am going to pay down out tonight for some salary relief. Phoenix has been pretty good at defending the center position, I am just going with a gut feeling tonight and looking for at least a 5.5 X return. His price tag is $4300, which means we need 25 fantasy points for that return. Seems pretty realistic to me.

My hurricane pick of the night
Luca Doncic – this man was my inspiration behind creating the hurricane pic. He is the eye of the storm when he is on the court. Tonight will be no different against a Sacramento team that has absolutely no one to guard this young man. Let’s look for a huge night tonight.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, let’s get this money and take down those pesky Dfs sharks.

What up Money Team. We did it again, massive results from our previous value street article. Let’s dig in again.

Previous Results
Jackson 8.2X
Harris 6.9X
Zubac 7.1X
And my hurricane pick Embiid went bonkers for 80 fantasy points and 8.9X

PG Aaron Holiday – Here we have Indiana facing one of the fastest pace teams along with one of the worst defenses. At a price tag of $4500, I honestly believe this game could get out of hand quickly and if it does holiday will see an extended run. More minutes means more fantasy profiting opportunities.

SG Josh Richardson – The last time I played this young man I was sadly disappointed, but today he has a much better match up against the San Antonio team that is still currently trying to find a rhythm. I see a bounce back spot here with my projections putting him at right around 6X return. San Antonio is middle of the pack when it comes to defensive efficiency, and we all know that Richardson has potential to put up big points.

SF Jrue Holiday – At almost a bare minimum price tag of $3800, you simply cannot ignore this play tonight. I’ve already spoke in length about the weakness of Washington’s defense, and here is another prime spot to target especially if you are looking for salary relief. Washington is ranked 29th against the small forward position, and I can definitely see holiday taking advantage of this here.

PF Clarke – New Orleans looked fantastic against Utah, but that hope quickly dissipated in the next game. Clark should be in an amazing position to return almost 7X value here, with New Orleans coming in ranked 22 in the league defending the power forward position. His price tag is slowly starting to climb, so while he is still only $5000 we need to take advantage of this while we still can.

C Thomas Bryant – had a price tag of $6300 one of the only reasons that I will be targeting Thomas Bryant in this matchup is simply because he will be facing Miles Turner. We seen what Embiid Did against Turner a couple days ago, and Thomas Bryant should be able to have his way as well in this matchup. I would not be surprised to see another 6X return at least against a poor interior Indiana defense.

My Hurricane pick of the night….
Anthony Davis – you will hardly ever hear me talk about Anthony Davis in extent, but tonight is just a gut feeling and I’m going to roll with it. I have Rostered him twice in the past week and he has let me down both times, but I think tonight is the night we see AD do what we know he can do. As long as the minutes are there, he should have no problem at all playing bully ball against a Utah team.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, let’s get this money and take down those pesky Dfs sharks.

What’s up to all our members!!!! We are finally back in to the swing of things, and I couldn’t be more ecstatic! We have a very enticing 6 game slate to play, so let’s dig in!

PG Ja Morant – At a price of $6300 on fanduel, it’s an absolute lock and steal for me. Facing a Portland team that plays absolutely no defense behind the arc, Morant has the opportunity to go bonkers here. We know all to well what this kid is capable of and I think he puts up good numbers in this spot.

SG Buddy Hield – This young man is averaging 31 fantasy points on the season, and his price is only $5500. To simplify it, he is averaging almost 6x at his price. San Antonio’s defense is middle of the pack when it comes to efficiency, and Buddy threw up a 50 banger the last time these two teams met. Need I say more.

SF Evan Fournier – His price is at $5300, and Brooklyn doesn’t have a defense. We all know this young man has the potential for a 35+ fantasy point night any given night. He only put up 25 the last time these two teams played, which is right below 5X return, but I am banking on all of this extra rest playing in his favor. I’ll be looking tonight for at least a 6X return.

PF Nemanja Bjelica – With Bagley out for now, our guy should see an extended run in minutes. His price comes in at $4500, and is averaging over 5X at that price on the season. The last time the teams met Bjelica put up a nice 35 fantasy point game. San Antonio is ranked 20th in defensive efficiency, which means that our guy with extended minutes it’s in a position to hit a high ceiling. I’m locking him in.

C Jakob Poeltl – With the absence of Aldridge and Lyles still out due to injury, this guy is an absolute lock for me. His price tag comes in at $4200, and will be facing a depleted Sacramento team, that when healthy are still only middle of the pack when it comes to to defensive efficiency at the position. In his scrimmage games without Aldridge and Lyles, he has definitely put up some good numbers. He should see an extended run in minutes tonight, and I am shooting for him to put up at least 6X return.

My HURRICANE pick of the night – Luka Doncic

I know that I write the value Street article, but I am going to be throwing in my hurricane pick of the night, which is who I think will be the absolute smash spot on the slate. This is the first time in a really long time that we have seen Luca sub $11,000. I will be getting a ton of exposure to him for the simple fact that James Harden does not play defense.

What’s up money team?! Well last night was another profitable night for us here. Tonight we have a six game slate, with some pretty good looking value. Let’s get to it and see what we can find.

Last nights value smashers

DJ Augustine 5.5X
Ricky Rubio 5.5X
DenzelValentine 5.2X
PJ Tucker 7.9X

The Value Core

Point Guard – Goran Dragic

This pick for me will hinge on the injury news of Nunn. If Nunn sits tonight I’m locking Dragic in. He has had spurts of brilliance throughout the season, and even though Vegas has the Hornets as 10 point favorites, I see tons of potential in this spot. Charlotte does have a dvp ranking of 6th, but I’m not concerned. Dragic has had a couple duds in a row, but that’s where I like to take advantage, because the price drops. His price tag tonight is a reasonable $5100, and I can live with that.
Also look at Payton

Shooting Guard – RJ Barrett

Here we go again, targeting the worst dvp ranked team. This time though we have Barrett to help us take advantage of a smash spot. His price is only $4800, and I can see him absolutely smashing at this price. He just returned 6X against Washington who is worse than Atlanta defending the position. I’m looking tonight for Barrett to exceed 6X.
Also look at Richardson he is in a smash spot

Small Forward – Cam Reddish

I actually really like Reddish on the other side of the ball tonight. New York is ranked 20th in dvp and we seen what he could do last night with a 7.7X return. I don’t think tonight will be quite that good, but I do see at least 6X. His price is $5000, and it’s continuing to climb. This is definitely a price and spot we want to have exposure to this evening. It’s kind of a volatile play only because his production has been back and forth, but I have faith he will produce.
Watch for Caleb Martin, could be a sneaky value play.

Power Forward – Maxi Kleber

I’m going right back to the well with this one. Denver is good defensively, which makes this a risky play. His price is only $4400 and Denver has a dvp ranking of 12th, but it’s not enough to scare me away. Kleber almost reached value last night against San Antonio, and should definitely be able to do it tonight. He has reached at least 5X in 3 out of his last 5 games, and tonight I’ll be looking for him to get back on track. He will be banging with Millsap, but I believe he has this one in the bag.
Also watch for Zion to ball out tonight.

Center – Mitchell Robinson

Until Capela is back from injury, I will stay targeting centers that play against Atlanta. I think this is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate tonight. He’s coming off a dud against Washington, but his price is still the same at $5700. It’s obvious fanduel sees this as a bounce back spot as well, so I’m rolling with it. Atlanta’s dvp ranking is 28th, and are close to being dead last in rebounds per game. This will be a huge pace up game for the Knicks. Just lock this guy in and move on.

What’s up money team? Well last night was one of the weirdest and worst nights I’ve ever seen in the history of playing dfs. This is why we push bank roll management so hard. We can’t predict the future or what other people are going to do in most cases, and last night was a perfect example. Middleton and DiVincenzo both didn’t start, and Powell got hurt in the first quarter. It is what it is, today we are back to the grind. Today is much better with a nine game slate with tons of value. Let’s see what we can find.

Last nights value crusher
Ibaka 7.6X
Morris 5.4X
Cody Martin 5X

Point Guard
DJ Augustine

He has been heating up the last couple of games. Producing a nice 7 and 8X return in both of those contest. Tonight he gets a matchup against a Memphis team that has a dvp ranking of 17th. I’m definitely looking tonight for a solid 6X return, in a game I presume will stay pretty close. He’s averaging 26 minutes over the past two games, and as long as those minutes stay, I’m locking this guy in. Also look at Ricky Rubio.

Shooting Guard
Lou Williams

*LOU WILLIAMS HAS BEEN RULED OUT The fantasy production has been up and down with him, but tonight he faces a warriors defense that has continued to struggle. His price is $4900 which is kind of high in my opinion given his less than stellar recent performances, but maybe Vegas knows something we don’t. This might be a position I pay up tonight, but then again, if the feeling is right I will go for it. Golden State has a dvp ranking of 29th, and they don’t have a 2nd unit to defend this guy. Maybe that’s where the price inflation comes from. Either way, keep an eye on him.

Small Forward
Troy Brown

At a price tag of $4200, and facing a Knocks team that is ranked 20th in dvp, I love this play tonight. I think tonight is a perfect bounce back spot from his dud a game ago. If Jerome Robinson sits tonight and Brown gets the start, I like this play a whole lot more. Even with the recent inconsistency, I can still see a 6X return tonight if we get the minutes out of him. Also watch for Denzel Valentine! He will smash tonight.

Power Forward
Maxi Kleber

He should get the start tonight, and at a price of $4400 I’ll take the risk. He had one of his worst outings last game, only producing 9 fantasy points. Tonight he faces San Antonio, who’s ranked 23rd in dvp, which is a huge plus for us considering the dud he put up was against Sabonis. I’m looking tonight for a huge bounce back performance and possibly more than a 6X return. Also look at Naz Reid

Center
PJ Tucker

I honestly kind of like Tucker in this spot and he is almost bare minimum price at $3800. Minnesota is 19th in dvp, so he may struggle a bit, but we know he can bang with the best of them. With Harden and Westbrook on the court there will be plenty of opportunity for assist and baskets. This is strictly a salary saver for me though because of all the talent at the center position for me tonight. If you have the salary, look at Andre Drummond. He’s a smasher tonight even at his price.

What’s goin on money team? Well we definitely had some value pay off last night, and we are looking to keep the streak going. Tonight is a light 3 game slate, so remember we do not recommend playing cash games on small nights like this. With that said, let’s dig in.

Last nights value smashers
Murray 10.1X
Osman 9.2X
Ross 5.3X
Robinson 6.8X

The Value Core

Poing Guard
Monte Morris

After a dud in Cleveland, I can definitely see a bounce back performance tonight. At a price of $3800, I will be paying very close attention to this game. If it blows out, because they are play Milwaukee, Morris definitely gets an extra run in minutes. Milwaukee is first in pace so this is a pace up game for Denver. This is a volatile play but I’m willing to take the risk.

Shooting Guard
Norman Powell

We need to pay close attention to the VanVleet news, because if he is out again, Powell is a lock in every category tonight. He’s produced at least 6X in 6 straight games. Yes Utah has a great dvp, but I don’t think that will effect this young man what so ever. His price is down to $5500, and pending the news, this dude will be in every one of my lineups.
Also look at DiVincenzo

Shooting Guard
Cody Martin

This is one of my favorite plays of the night. Going up against a Hawks defense that has a dvp ranking of dead last, I think Martin balls out tonight. He has returned 5X value in 4 straight games, and all 4 were against much better interior defenses. His price is at $4700, which is pretty fair. I’ll definitely be looking for at least a 6X return tonight.

Power Forward
Royce O’Neale

This is probably my least favorite play tonight, only because he’s going to be banging with Siakam. Toronto’s interior defense is in my opinion one of the best in the league, but our guy could still return 5X. His price is at $3700 which I am definitely ok playing him at, considering he has returned 5X value in 5 out of his last 7 games. High risk but high reward if he pays off.
Also look at Ibaka, he is in a prime spot tonight

Center
Cody Zeller

Once again we are targeting the Hawks interior defense here. Their dvp ranking against centers is 29th, and Zeller is hard to stop when you are trying to play small ball. His price tag is only $4300, and going against a terrible defense, I might just be locking this guy in tonight. He produced 5X two games ago against Jokic, so why wouldn’t be pick him here?!

Remember to pay attention closely to injury news tonight! And I repeat it is not a cash night, strictly GPP!

What’s goin on money team?! Today we have a pretty fun but busy 6 game slate. I’m sure some injury news will break closer to lock, but for now let’s get this value.

Last nights value smasher was
Kyle Anderson 6X
Cedi Osman 7.3X

The Value Core

Point Guard
Dejounte Murray

I’m really happy Murray didn’t have a great night in his last performance, because now his price has come down. Today his price tag is only $5500, and he is going up against the worst perimeter defense in the NBA. He’s averaging 27 fppg on the season, which is right at 5X return for us, and tonight I just think he smashes value big time. His recent dud was the first time he hadn’t reached value in 5 games. Just lock this guy into a gpp or cash lineup and move on.

Shooting Guard
Terrence Ross

To me, Ross is one of the most underestimated players in the league. Tonight he face is a Houston defense that will be getting Westbrook back, but it will be a huge piece up game for the Orlando Magic. Even with Westbrook on the court Houston still gIves up the 7th most fppg to shooting guards. In his last five games he has returned at least 6X value, with one of those games being a massive 10 X return. This is another lock and load for me tonight. Houston is on the second leg of a back to back which is also another positive for our guy.

Small Forward
Cedi Osman

I mentioned disguise shortly in my article last night, and he smashed value with a 7X return. Tonight he faces a San Antonio defense that is giving up the 9th most fppg to small forwards. At a price tag of $4100 I can definitely see a return of 6X. Cleveland is on the second game of a back to back which may decrease minute play for our guy, but even with a minute cut he can still ball out.

Power Forward
Robert Covington

I know his salary is at $6100, as of right now there’s not a lot of value to choose from at this position. I can definitely see this man getting us at least a 6X return tonight, and that’s why he is in this article. Since coming to Houston he is definitely picked his game back up and started to find his stroke again. Cleveland has a dvp ranking of 22nd which is an ideal spot for this young man to face. It’s going to be a battle down low, but we know this young man can ball. Lock him in.

Center
Mitchell Robinson

As long as this guy can stay out of foul trouble tonight, I see a definite 6X return from him. Ever since Drummond left Detroit I love targeting big win against them. Even though Robinson is not a true big man, he knows how to bang with the best of them. His price tag comes in at $5800, and I can see him smashing that tonight. He has not return value in his two previous games but prior to that returned us 7X. I would look for a repeat performance of that tonight. With it being only 6 games on the main slate we gotta pay attention to value, and get some relief somewhere.

If you have any questions or would like updated value please closer to lock, feel free to hit me up on the Discord app and I will gladly answer your questions. Good luck tonight and please play responsibly!

What’s going on money team?! Well if you didn’t read my article yesterday you truly missed out, there were some serious value smashers! Let’s get into it today!

Yesterday’s value smashers

Carter Williams 7.5X

Ross 6.1X

Point Guard
Jeff Teague

If Trey Young is sidelined again, this dude is an absolute lock. At $3800 he could absolutely smash value today. He returned 5X value in his start last night against Washington, and today could be far better. He touched the ball 63 times last night and with going against a Memphis team today those numbers should stay around the same. Memphis is ranked 16th dvp, and Teague we all know can play, and play hard.

Also look at Murray. He’s $6500 on fanduel, but I’m tellin you guys, he’s smashing tonight!

Shooting Guard
Dillon Brooks

The kid has definitely stepped up with all the injuries the grizzlies are dealing with. We know Memphis is hanging on for dear life to any hopes of a playoff run, so you know he is going to continue to play his heart out. Atlanta is 29th in the league when it comes to giving up ffpg to shooting guards, and if Young is still out, that number drops. He returned 5.3X against Dallas who has a far better dvp ranking, so at a price of $4800 look for a good return tonight.

Also look at McRae

Small Forward
Kyle Anderson

I think this is the best value on the slate tonight. To most people tonight, this could be a volatile play, but I love it. His usage rate is only at 14% on the season, but Memphis continues to be plagued with injuries in the front court which gives him a huge boost. His price is only $4200 which is perfectly fine for me. Atlanta has a dvp ranking of 29th as well, so I don’t see how you don’t lock this guy in. The fantasy production hasn’t been ideal recently, but against a struggling Hawks defense, I see 6X at least tonight.

Also look at Osman

Power Forward
Nemanja Bjelica

Holmes may return today or tomorrow, but I don’t see this effecting Bjelica much. He has been on a statistical fall as of recent, but tonight should be a productive night. Portland is dead last in defensive efficiency against power forwards. Definitely a bounce back spot here, and I think fanduel sees it this way as well with his price climbing to $4800, and I want to be the one to have him in my lineup when he goes off.

Center
Gorgui Dieng

I know I have spoke a lot about the injuries in Memphis recently, but that is what value Street is all about. Taking advantage of players that get extended run due to injuries. We all know how well this young man played earlier in the season, and still continues to play. His price tag comes in at $5000, and he should definitely see some extended minutes in tonight’s match up. Atlanta simply does not play defense whatsoever, and that is an ideal situation for any Dfs player to target. As long as he gets the minutes tonight, this guy is an absolute lock for me. I can see a possible 6X return tonight, and possibly help take down a tournament.

If you have any questions or would like updated value please closer to lock, feel free to hit me up on the Discord app and I will gladly answer your questions. Good luck tonight and please play responsibly!

Today’s four game slate is an interesting one. Definitely some injury news to keep an eye on, which could potentially open up more value. As it stands right now, I already have some good plays in mind so let’s get to it.

Value smash spots from last night
Naz Reid 8.8X
Duncan Robinson 7.3X

The Value Core

PG Shake Milton

With him and Burks on the court together they simply just click. Yes I understand that he only returned 4X against the Lakers, But that was his first game not returning value in six previous games. Tonight he faces a Sacramento Kings defense that is currently middle of the pack when it comes to defensive efficiency against point guards. This is going to be a pace down game but not by much, and at a price tag of $5400 I’m locking this guy in tonight.

SG Alec Burks

Like I just previously stated, with this guys and Milton together, they are firing on all cylinders. His price tag is only $4500, and he is averaging 27 fantasy points per game on the season. Sacramento is giving up to 14 most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, and tonight is a prime spot for Burks to return us at least 5x value.

SF Marcus Morris

Facing a Houston team that’s gives up the 2nd most ffpg to small forwards, Morris is in a perfect bounce back spot tonight. His previous games as of recently have been sub par, but I see him getting back on track tonight. We all know how well he can play, and at a price tag of $4300 I’m willing to bet he returns at least 5x value tonight.

PF Nemanja Bjelica

This is definitely a risky play tonight, because of the recent inconsistencies. He has been able to return at least a 5X value in Three out of the last four games, and I am willing to bet he continues that streak tonight. His price tag comes in at $4900, and we all know that when this young man is able to start getting his shots to fall, he is extremely hard to stop. I will be looking for him to get hot early and stay hot throughout the game.

C Ivica Zubac

The last time I had this guy in my article, he went off. I’m playing him again tonight, only for the fact that Houston’s 2nd unit has no one to stop this guy. His last game was a 6X return, and I believe tonight it could be higher than that. Keep him on your radar and lock him in again tonight if you need some salary relief. It is a four-game slate, so keep in mind that you are definitely going to need some value plays tonight to fit in the stars you want.

What’s goin on money team! Last night was yet another good night for us here at dfs cheat sheet. Today we have a good sized nine game slate, let’s find that value.

Value smasher from yesterday
Zubac 6.5X

PG Brad Wanamaker

With Hayward and Brown both out tonight our guy should see an extended run in minutes and fantasy production. You have to love this play, when this guy plays starter minutes, he is averaging 6X return. He is playing the worst defense against position tonight and should completely ball out.

SG Duncan Robinson

I don’t know if there is anyone on Orlando that can defend this guy when it comes to shooting three-pointers. It is just my opinion but he is one of the best in the league behind the arc, And tonight I will be taking advantage of the situation. His price tag is only $4000 and he could be set up for a monster night tonight. He is averaging 20 fantasy points per game on the season which is right where we want our guys that we target.

SF Kevin Porter

Facing a depleted Boston team tonight, I can definitely see at least a 6X return tonight. This kid has been on a huge terror as a recent and I think tonight the streak continues. This price tag is $5000, but I think he crashes that tonight. He has only not return the value in one out of his last five games. Lock and load this guy in your lineup tonight.

PF Naz Reid

I think this might be my favorite value play tonight. Facing a Chicago team that is the second worst against the position, you have to have this young man in your lineup. I don’t see a repeat performance of 10.5 X return, but I am projecting somewhere around 7X return with a price tag of only $4500. Reid has been as consistent as they come in his young career, and tonight is an absolute smash spot for him.

C Steven Adams

His price tag is $6000, but that reflects the poor fantasy production as of recent. Tonight is his bounce back night and I’m not going to be caught slipping by not having him in my lineup. Facing a Detroit team that is without Drummond anymore, Adams should be able to wreak havoc on this team. Detroit’s stats for the season defensively were only because they had Drummond, and now without him any center that comes to play completely dominates these guys. We all know Adams can ball and ball hard, and that is why this is a must play for me tonight.
