Bottom of the Barrel WK11
11/16/20
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie
Each week the season get more odd. Each week there’s a different set of circumstances. To make it more strange it looks as if we’ve skipped right to Christmas. Right past Thanksgiving and right to Santa Clause!
I’ve often wondered what it would be like drafting a fantasy team with good ole Saint Nick himself. I’d imagine Rudolph would want in on the action too. If we need to fill roster spots guess the other reindeer could play.
My first though would be draft day snacks. Any of us who’ve been involved in live drafts knows the food is as important as the player research itself. Cookies, milk and carrots for Rudolph are easy enough.
As we look ahead to week 11 one thing is clear. I may have lost my mind. Which would make my Bottom of the Barrel selections interesting. We need to slow down and look forward to Thanksgiving. It’s going to be different this year but we’ve adapted this year so far.
Let’s be thankful for our families, friends and football.
QUARTERBACK
Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at QB in week 11. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!
Aaron Rodgers GB @ IND (1)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$7,000)

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at QB in week 11!
Teddy Bridgewater CAR vs. DET (22nd)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$6,400)

Keep an eye out for Teddy’s status due to a knee injury. The Detroit Lions are allowing 28.33 points a game. Which is 29th overall. Plenty of points and yardage to be had here.
Kirk Cousins MIN vs. DAL (17th)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$6,200)

Here he is again. Kirk and the Vikes take on the hapless Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. A Dallas defense that has given up the second most passes TD’s this season. The offense runs through Dalvin Cook but the fantasy points will be there for Cousins.
Jameis Winston NO vs. ATL (32nd)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,900)

Winston is now the king of the Saints castle. Although the Falcons have been trending upwards on defense, the Saints are just too powerful. Winston did have corrective eye surgery over the summer so expect a nice return on investment! Thought you should know.
Tua Tagovailoa MIA @ DEN (20th)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,800)

Tua and the Miami Dolphins are 6-3! The rookie QB has been playing solid and mistake free football. His TD:INT ratio is now at 5:0. Yet his price on both sites has yet to be adjusted! As the excitement around him builds, Tua should be part of your lineup builds!
Alex Smith WSH vs. CIN (27th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,300)

Alex will no doubt be the 2020 Comeback Player of the year. What a story! In regards to week 11, Alex has a fantastic match-up to exploit through the air. In just two weeks Smith has racked up 715 passing yards! WSH vs. CIN isn’t high on many fans to-do list but it’s going to be a fun and competitive game. Full speed ahead for him this week!
Garrett Gilbert DAL @ MIN (29th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,200)

Gilbert wasn’t awful in week 10! Glowing report I know but there should be a case for him making another start in week 11. It’s still a fluid situation given the fact Andy Dalton may be healthy and ready to play. I’d be comfortable starting Andy here too. Seeing how he’s (FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,300) against a Vikings team ranked 28th against the pass. Over/under for this one is currently at 48 points. Plenty of points to go around in this one. I’m hopeful it starts at the DAL QB position.
BONUS QB
P.J. Walker CAR vs. DET (22nd)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$4,800)

Would be nice cheap play in the event Teddy B can’t go in week 11 at home against the Lions! I like the idea of ANY QB playing against the Lions DST.
RUNNING BACK
Not new anymore but here’s the most expensive player at RB in week 11. Should help put B&B prices into perspective!
Dalvin Cook MIN vs. DAL (16th)(FD-$10,500)(DK-$9,000)

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at RB in week 11!
Rex Burkhead NE @ HOU (31st)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,600)

We’ve entered the Rex Burkhead portion of the season. Week-to-week the New England backfield is a headache. We have to take advantage when we can! That time is now! Rex isn’t getting the volume I’d like but for DFS purposes the price is good!
Kalen Ballage LAC vs. NYJ (26th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,600)

Welcome to the Kalen Ballage portion of the season. Wait, think I used that line already. Kalen has now been the Chargers lead RB in back-to-back weeks. I firmly believe that will continue until Austin Ekeler returns. Let’s use Ballage while we can! What better time then week 11 in a revenge game vs. the Jets!
Damien Harris NE @ HOU (31st)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,700)

D-Harris set a career high in carries last Sunday (22). I see no reason why the Pats get away from giving him all the work he can handle. In week 11 it doesn’t get any better! The Texans DST has been gashed all year on the ground.
Jonathan Taylor IND vs. GB (30th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,800)

Here we go again! It’s going to happen this week! Right? I’ll take my chances at the price and the match-up. Fingers crossed!
J.D. McKissic WSH vs. CIN (14th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,200)

15 targets! How insane is that? Looking ahead to week 11 it may only get better! Alex Smith loves to check down and JD has benefited big time. His price has only gone up $300 on both sites.
La’Mical Perine NYJ @ LAC (22nd)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,400)

Not much to say here. The Jets are going nowhere fast. So why would we roster a NYJ RB? Well it’s looking like Perine is about to get a ton of work. As much as he can handle. Looks like a nice audition for a lowly price.
Jamaal Williams GB @ IND (3rd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$5,700)

J-Will received half the work he normally gets in week 10 but I’m chalking it up to his short stay on the COVID IR. Aaron Jones is the clear RB1 in this offense but as you’ve seen Jamaal get’s his targets and touches too.
Jordan Wilkins IND vs. GB (30th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,000)

I will 100% open and honest with you here. Week to week in this backfield we never know what we’re going to get. This week I have a feeling about Jordan. It’s like the shell game with these IND RB’s. The match-up is sweet and the price is fantastic.
WIDE RECEIVER
Davante Adams GB @ IND (7th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$8,600)

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at WR for week 11!
CeeDee Lamb DAL @ MIN (31st)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,000)

Hey CeeDee! It’s bittersweet to see you back with us at B&B. It’s been the awful QB play in DAL. We know CeeDee. We’re here for you. You’re always welcome at B&B. Glad you’re back and I think we all know what comes next!
Jerry Jeudy DEN vs. MIA (20th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,300)

Jerry has clearly become the WR1 in Denver. Unfortunately Drew Lock hasn’t played well. Jeudy has the 7th worse catch percentage because of it. Looking at a home match-up vs. the surging Miami Dolphins volume alone has JJ on my DFS radar.
Curtis Samuel CAR vs. DET (15th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,700)

I love the idea of Samuel in week 11 at home against this Lions DST. The way Carolina uses him just excites me in this match-up. Plenty of targets and touches coming his way Sunday. He will locked and loaded in all my lines!
Michael Pittman Jr. IND vs. GB (8th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,500)

Mike Pittman Jr. is now the unquestioned WR1 in Indianapolis now. I absolutely don’t see a case where he’s not. Fully healthy, this kid is now able to showcase his superior receiving talents. The volume Pittman Jr. is set to see just astounds me. I’m all aboard at this price.
KJ Hamler DEN vs. MIA (20th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,600)

If Jerry is 1A in Denver then KJ is making a case for 1B. After a 10 target day in week 10 KJ’s prospects for week 11 are extremely bright!
Willie Snead IV BAL vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,500)

After all the complaining in Baltimore Hollywood Brown has done nothing! While Willie has stepped up to a certain extent. Truth be told, Snead does this from time to time. Moving forward I’m expecting Willie to see 6-7 high upside targets Sunday.
Marvin Hall DET @ CAR (12th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,800)

At this point I think it’s best we take a look at Marvin Hall. At this point I think it best to take Marvin Hall serious. With or without Kenny G this guy has a role. A deep route type roll. Tampa Bay throttled Carolina through the air in week 10. With or without Kenny G, Matthew Stafford can have the same success.
Devin Duvernay BAL vs. TEN (28th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,000)

I can’t put my finger on Devin. I’ll take it one step further, I can’t put my finger on Lamar Jackson. The Ravens would be wise to get the rookie involved more. There is an opening this week vs. the 30th overall ranked pass defense of the Titans.
Steven Sims Jr. WSH vs. CIN (26th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$3,000)

Sims Jr. was targeted 6 times Sunday in Detroit. While Alex Smith attempted 55 passes for 390 yards. In week 12 I’m fully expecting a competitive game here with CIN. I’d be willing to bet Alex throws 40+ passes in this one. While Sims Jr. sees several down field looks.
Chris Conley JAX vs. PIT (23rd)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,000)

Quick question, what Jacksonville WR was targeted the most in week 10? I’m sure by know you’ve already guessed it. Chris Conley! Aside from Chark and Robinson has the rookie QB Luton found a favorite secondary WR target? It’s a tough match-up vs. Pittsburgh but that’s why I like it. Conley may be an afterthought leading to several impactful targets.
TIGHT END
Travis Kelce KC @ LV (11th)(FD-$8,000)(DK-$8,000)

Here are some cheaper options I’m considering at TE for week 11!
Dalton Schultz DAL @ MIN (13th)(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,600)

The constant turnover in QB play hasn’t bothered Dalton much. He’s playing 95% of the offensive snap as well. The particulars are all there for Dalton in week 11.
Cameron Brate TB vs. LAR (15th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$2,500)

Color me impressed! Cameron caught a TD pass in week 10. I know that’s meaningless for week 11. It does tell us a few things. One of which is his usage. It’s not great. However, with Tom Brady as your QB, in primetime, anything goes.
Taysom Hill NO vs. ATL (32nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$4,800)

If you’re reading this then you know why Taysom Hill is a good play this week 11.
Kyle Rudolph MIN vs. DAL (22nd)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$3,200)

Irv Smith Jr. looks to be dealing with a groin injury. Meanwhile Kyle set a season high in receptions, yardage and routes ran. I like the idea of Kyle finding the end zone in week 11. The Cowboys can only do so much. I’d like to think Rudolph is the least of their worries.
Ryan Izzo NE @ HOU (16th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)

Izzo was on the field for 54 of the Patriots 58 offensive snaps in week 10. It hasn’t lead to much production for fantasy purposes but the points will come. Promise!
Durham Smythe MIA @ DEN (9th)(FD-$4,300)(DK-$2,500)

At this point I’m obligated to mention Durham. He was a fun part of my prop bet show last Saturday and he actually scored. Just looking to keep the momentum going!
Here are two of my sample lines I’m going to use for week 11! Keep in mind these lines are for entertainment purposes! Please play responsible!

Also look for updated lines closer to lock on Sunday morning 11/22!
