Boston Celtics (43-19) @ Charlotte Hornets (32-39)

Celtics -2.5 – Total: 222

Vegas is projecting this game to stay close. If that’s the case, I expect Kyrie Irving to CRUSH value today. Not to mention, today is his 27th birthday! #narrativesmatter. With Al Horford expected to sit out and no Aron Baynes (ankle), I would assume Daniel Theis will get all the minutes he can handle, and at his DFS price, he is definitely someone to consider rostering in GPP’s. On the Charlotte side of things, I like rookie SF Miles Bridges, who has been on a mini tear lately, with averages of 29.5mpg,  9.5ppg, 11rpg, 3apg & 2 spg in his last two games.

Miami Heat (35-37) @ Washington Wizards (30-43)

Wizards -1.5 – Total: 220.5

Another projected close game in tonight’s 7 game slate. Miami in know for there lock down defense, but Wizards Star SG has been match up proof since John Wall went down. I wouldn’t make Beal a priority in lineups today since there are so many other options around his price tag, but if I had to choose a Wizard, or if I wanted to be contrarian to the field, Beal is my guy! On the Miami side, I’m enamored with Bam’s potential! Miami is on a back end of a back to back, but Adebayo only played 18 minutes in a blowout loss to the Bucks, so his minutes should be safe in the upper 20’s today. Also, Whiteside had a nice game vs the Bucks last night, which means, it’s BAM’s turn today vs a very WEAK Wizards interior defense! Derrick Jones Jr has been starting the past few games and at his DFS price, he is definitely someone to consider as a punt play in GPP’s.

Philadelphia 76ers (47-25) @ Atlanta Hawks (25-48)

76ers -8 – Total: 237

With this game projected to be the highest scoring on the slate, there is a lot to like fantasy wise. But my number one OPTION has to be Joel Embiid! The hawks are known to have one of the worst interior defenses in the league, although, advanced stats show they have been better as of late. But that still doesn’t stop me from wanting to Roster Embeast in all of my DFS lineups! In his last game vs the Celtics, Embiid self proclaimed himself as the “Most Unstoppable Player in the League”, I’m a believer in #theprocess! Apparently, Embiid has never played at the State farm Arena in ATL, this is just another narrative for Embiid to SMASH value tonight! Ben Simmons is another guy I have interest in. The hawks are known for their poor defense vs opposing PG’s. Ben Simmons being 6’10” vs a 6’2″ rookie PG in Trae Young, is a really interesting match up. Nothing really entices me from the Hawks side of things.

Utah Jazz (42-30) @ Chicago Bulls (21-52)

Jazz -10.5 – Total: 216.5

This is a game I am going to stay away from! The Jazz are on a back end of a back to back and are coming off of a shocking loss to the Atlanta Hawks. This game seems like a blowout in the making, but if it somehow stays close, there are a few fantasy relevant guys in this game. With Otto Porter Jr being doubtful (Shoulder), Kris Dunn being questionable (Back), and Zack Lavine being listed as a true game time decision… I will be considering rostering Shaq Harrison again, who put up 33.5fps last game in a start over the injured Otto Porter Jr. If Dunn and Lavine are both out, guys like Ryan Arcidiacono, Antonio Blakeney, and Wayne Selden Jr become interesting punt streamers! On the Jazz side of things, I would consider Ricky Rubio & Rudy Gobert, since the Bulls are know for their weak defense vs opposing PG’s & C’s.

Minnesota Timberwolves (32-40) @ Memphis Grizzlies (29-43)

Wolves -1.5 – Total: 216.5

This game is projected to be at a slower pace than usual. which means, I’m not too interested in anyone not named KAT! With no Teague & Rose KAT’s numbers sky rocket! Especially his assist totals. Like Beal, KAT is pretty much match up proof (unless he’s going against Joel Embiid). I would also consider playing Tyus Jones, but a matchup vs Mike Conley is never fun. Memphis, on the other hand, is coming off a back end of a back to back and are expecting Mike Conley back in the lineup, which kills any hope of potentially playing Tyler Dorsey again tonight. Conley should have fresh legs tonight, and should be considered rostering vs a banged up Minnesota team.

Dallas Mavericks (28-44) @ Golden State Warriors (49-22)

Warriors -14 – Total: 219.5

With both Steph Curry & Shaun Livingston expected to sit out (rest), I like Quinn Cook’s upside vs a Dallas team that is known for having weak vs opposing PG’s. Not to mention, today is Cook’s 26th Birthday #narrativesmatter. So he should look to come out with some extra motivation. I don’t think the warriors will have to rely heavily on KD much, with this being an easy W. However, I do expect Boogie Cousins to FEAST down low! Cousin’s is one of my favorite chalks of the night. With no Curry, Boogie’s usage % rate sky rockets! On the Dallas side of things, I have no interest in anybody not named LUKA! Doncic has had a tough weak, tweaking his knee, under-performing in back to back sets… But, if this game somehow stays close, i see Luka having a nice bounce back performance. BIG IF!

Detroit Pistons (37-34) @ Portland Trail Blazers (44-27)

Blazers -5 – Total: 215

This game is projected to be the lowest scoring of the slate. Nothing really catches my eye in this match up. This looks like it can turn out to be an ugly game. If I were to consider rostering anyone, it would have to be Damian Lillard, for obvious reasons. With CJ McColumm out for the remainder of the season, Lillard’s numbers are expected to rise. In the last two games without CJ, Lillard has  dropped 63.5fps & 65.25fps (Draftkings). With that production, you have to consider him tonight! On the Detroit side of things, I am only interested in Andre Drummond. Drummond has a tough match up against Nurkic, and with so many options at the C position tonight, I’m most likely going to stay away from Andre. that bieng said, i wouldn’t be surprised at another 20/20 performance.

Phoenix Suns (17-56) @ Sacramento Kings (35-36)

Kings -10 – Total: 230

This game is projected to be the second highest scoring game of the slate. Game stacking this game would not be a bad idea! There are so many viable options to choose from… Devin Booker is really intriguing in this up pace spot! If this game stays competitive, I can see Booker having a monster game and winning you some tournaments in the last game of the night. DeAndre Ayton is also someone to consider, Sacramento has one of the worst interior defenses in the league, not to mention he will be playing against his High School teammate Marvin Bagley, who by the way, got the best of him in their last match up back in February. He should come out with that extra motivation vs his childhood friend!  #narrativesmatter.

Jimmer is BACK! Phoenix just signed PG Jimmer Fredette to a Two year deal and expects him to play tonight vs his former team the Sacramento Kings. Fredette is in a unique situation, he hasn’t played in the NBA in over Three years, and his first game back is vs the team that “gave up” on his development (talk about revenge game!) #narrativesmatter. Well, it looks like he developed just fine in China playing for the Shanghai Sharks, averaging close to 40ppg in that Three year span. At his DFS price I like Jimmer as a punt streamer option in GPP’s.

On the Sacramento side of things, there are too many players to choose from, and chances are one or two of them will burn you! If I had to pick one or two, I would have to go with De’Aaron Fox, Phoenix has one of the worst PG defenses in the league, especially on transition, and that is where Fox is most successful at. My other guy would have to be Marvin Bagley! Bagley is from Arizona and as we know, he will be playing against his High School teammate, DeAndre Ayton.  In his last game vs Suns at Phoenix, Bagley posted 32pts, 7reb, 1ast, 1stl, & 1 blk in 31 minutes. Look for him duplicate that performance tonight!

Good luck tonight! Please follow my social media below for some daily sleeper picks! #narrativesmatter

Carter-7.5/ 2.5xValue
Parsons-30.2/ 58.1.7xValue
Rabb-13.5/ 3.75xValue
PG- Quinn Cook.

With Curry & Livingston out, Cook should get all of the PG minutes available. There isn’t a huge sample for this kind of situation this season, but going back to last year he was a great value when pushed into a starting role.

SG– Tyler Dorsey – Well I sure was happy to have 50% ownership on this guy yesterday! Today there are a lot of value plays to warrant much attention for him again. I particularly like this matchup due to the fact that both of the T-Wolves PG’s are out for the rest of the season. Dorsey put up monster numbers with 43min & 49.8fpts. He Drained 5 3’s on a line that read: 29/3/9. Not bad for your first game on a new team!

GPP Pivot- Booker

SF– Troy Brown

Brown has saw 30+ min in back to back outings. They have a home game vs a banged up Heat squad. As long as Ariza is out he should continue to see a good uptick in minutes. He isn’t going to fill up the stat sheet but in the low 4K range he should exceed value with 22-28fpts with a bit more of a ceiling.

PF– Thomas Bryant

I like him as a sneaky GPP play. Scott Brooks just announced Bryant and Portis as the Wizards front court tandem for the rest of the season. Bryant shines when he gets the minutes. Point Blank. In his last 15 games he has seen 25+ min 3 times. This is how it turned out. Don’t have a ton of exposure but I like him in this spot today against MIA who is most likely missing out on Winslow

Vs. DEN   35min/ 36fpts

Vs. ORL   25min/40.5fpts

Vs. IND    31min/55fpts

C– Jonas Valanciunas

In case you weren’t paying attention, Val smashed yesterday. His line read 41min & 65.5fpts (23pts, 24reb, 3ast, 4blk, and 1 long ball). That makes B2B 50+ fantasy performances. The big man is on a tear and faces a decent D today. MIN is not a full strength and this game should actually stay pretty close. A lot of people will be on MEM today and this would make a nice spot to go contrarian with Towns if you have the available salary.

Play Smart today as there is a lot of value. Go with your gut and try not to change your lineup too many times!

As always, thanks for tuning in to me on this sunny Saturday. Set your lineups and go outside! Happy Hooping Ladies and Gents.

Yesterdays Results

Neto- 13/4.2×Value
Okogie- 20.75/5.32×Value
PG- Delon Wright

This all depends on whether or not Conley plays. At this point he is most likely starting. In the 2 games without Conley, Wright averaged 35mpg. He is averaging .86FD & .84DK FPPG on the season and will see the spurs who rank 26th against PG in their last 10.

SG- Alex Caruso – In his last 4 games hes seen no less than 22mpg (25.25) and had  great production (29.4fppg). The Lakers are not playoff bound so I look for their bench to be late season value.

SF- Damyean Dotson – Dotson has scored at least 20 points in three of the last four games while averaging 22.5 points, 5.0 boards, 3.5 three-pointers, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals over that stretch. He is a stat sheet filler and is now setting himself apart from the other players in contention for the SF position.

PF- Mario Hezonja – My boy Super Mario is finally getting the props he deserves. Vonleh will most likely be out today which should put him in a starting role. In his last 3 games hes put up 27fppg in 29.6min. At 3.9K on DK that’s a no brainier.

C- Jonas Valenciunas – This guy has always been a PPM King when he starts. Tonight MEM is looking at a total of 11 eligible bodies. Val will most likely tally the majority of the points & rebounds. His last 2 games hes notched 44.9fp in just under 33min.

I mentioned them being short handed so I figured I would throw in some other names to consider.

SG-Tyler Dorsey 3k
SG- Javon Carter 3k
SF-Parsons 3.4k
PF-Rabb 3.6K

Goran Dragic – Dragics minutes are getting back into the 30s. With Winslow and McGruder out, Miami will need another burst like Monday from Dragic. Spurs are also ranked 24th in defensive efficiency to guards this season making him a great option tonight.

Dwayne Wade – Same boat as Dragic. Together they totaled 95.8 FPs. I can see them going off again and having another large usage night.

D.J. Augustin – He has been solid night after night. With a pace up game against the Pels, I can see another good night from Augustin. Pels also ranked 4th in most FP allowed to the PG position.

Bobby Portis – Portis has a revenge game tonight against his old team. He’s also a very fair price. With some GTD players, I think Portis will get his revenge tonight. This guy has huge upside and is definitely a tourney play only.

Jabari Parker – Revenge game as well. Parker and the Bulls ended on bad terms. There might be a fire under him tonight. It’s still an easy play because he has produced 30+ FP in 7 of his last 9 games.

Eric Bledsoe – Giannis is a GTD, and Brogdon is out. I like Bledsoe with Brogdon out but I will love him if Giannis is out as well. He is going against a beat up weak defensive Cavs team and when both Giannis and Brogdon are out, Bledsoe averages 1.49FPPM. Huge usage rate tonight and huge game for Bledsoe.

Also like: Al Horford, Moe Harkless, Daniel House, Lauri Markkanen, Bradley Beal, Robin Lopez.

Good luck tonight!

Tyus Jones – 26.3 – 5.59×Value
James Harden –  57.6 – 4.68×Value
Bojan Bogdanovich – 24 – 3.87×Value
Montrez Harrell – 42 – 6.36×Value
Boban Marjonovich – 5.5 – 1.42×Value
Today we have a 9 game slate in which we see a suspended westbrook, a solo lillard, and lots of big guys to choose from. Tip toe carefully my friends.
PG- Damian Lillard – Without McCollum, Dame is running the show. He is up to a ppm of 1.53FD and 1.59DK as well as a 30% assist rate with no less than 35mpg in his last 4. We saw what he did vs a formidable D and now he takes on a lesser opponent in the Mavs. Look for Dame to be overlooked due to the return of Mr. Triple Double.
SG- Delon Wright – Avery Bradley has been ruled out which is good news for Wright’s minutes. Over the last 6 he has averaged 28.1mpg and 29.61fpg. With his price i cant help but have some exposure to him mostly on DK. Watch his ownership and if it gets too high he may become a cash play only.
SF- Jabari Parker – In his last 10, Parker has only dipped below 35fppg in 3 outings. He faces a struggling Bulls squad who is in the bottom half of the league vs SF’s. In his last 3 games Parker has averaged 31.6mpg and 37.6fppg. He is at a solid price point and looking to continue his hot streak.
PF- Aaron Gordon – I used to tread lightly with Gordon. Over yhe past month he has really shown me a spark. In the last 10 games he has averaged over 35mpg and balanced it out with nearly 37fppg. The Pelicans are middle of the pack vs piwer forwards but give up 116ppg. Gordon and Vucevic find a way to get it done.
C-  Nikola Vucevic – I really like Vuc in cash games. He rarely disappoints me and is facing a Pelicans D that is lacking without Davis. They rank 28th in D vs the C. Vegas has the Magic at an implied 115.8(+10vs season avg.) and this has Vuc written all over it. He has seen around 34mpg when its close and averaged 1.46fppm in those outings. You do the math!
